Moxy Atlanta Midtown

We loved Moxy. The staff were amazing and nice. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Two things that could have been improved on: the towels were not soft at all so you really didn’t want to rub on your skin and we were not told at check in that we would be charged for parking. I feel like with the cost of the room that parking should be included or at least have it somewhere that you will have to pay for this. At check out we were told it would be $35 for parking for one night and it surprised us. That is why I only gave 4 stars.

The rooms were comfy and quiet. The hotel was super clean. The bed was a wee bit too firm for my liking, but I had a hard time sleeping due to an overactive brain, so that could have contributed. The rooftop pool was our favorite part, and the food and drinks from the rooftop bar was delicious. We spent the majority of our first day at the hotel, at least until dinnertime. The ambiance is vibrant and fun. We look forward to staying here on our next trip!

I love that i didn't have to leave the property to enjoy a full meal and alcoholic beverage. My only gripe is that there weren't any ice machines on any of the floors, but there were ironing rooms...? I didn't like the fact that i would have to go to the bar/check in desk (in my pajamas) just to get ice. Other than that, i enjoyed my stay and festivities.

The Moxy is like if my 20 and 21 year old sons started a hotel. The concept is there, but it’s poorly executed. The staff had no clue what was going on. It’s clear that the idea of being check in desk/bartender/guest services doesn’t work when you only want to serve drinks. The elevators didn’t work (I’m all about steps but 10 floors - come on). We tried to order food and they said “it hasn’t been replenished since last week so it’s all old.” Huh? My wall unit air conditioner didn’t go below 71 and when I asked the bartender/front desk person about it, she said “I’ll send someone up.” But didn’t ask for my room number. Bring your own soap and shampoo because the immovable pumps they have in the showers don’t produce much, and body wash/shampoo combo that doesn’t lather isn’t eco-friendly, it’s just cheap. Don’t expect anyone there to help you. They have no clue where anything is or how to run a hotel that caters to grown ups.

Convenient location with easy access to the metro system, restaurants, and Atlanta's art museum. The Moxy does love a party so if loud music isn't your thing, make sure your room does not face the pool.

Really enjoyed the lobby. The space and games and bar were perfect for a late night stay in.

I can't say enough how awesome this hotel is! Easy and efficient check-in, great hospitality. Welcome drink was a nice gesture. The staff go above and beyond to provide a great and timely service. Lovely style and cozy vibes everywhere. The place is very clean and beautiful. It is even better than the pictures. Very well organized with extreme attention to details. Great kitchen, rooftop, bar, pool and gym! You have all the amenities you need at your fingers. Great area around the hotel with diverse places to eat and have fun. Very close to train station. No fridge in the rooms. Only one elevator is working so you have to wait forever. Awesome location. The rooms are clean.

Definitely a party vibe. My husband and I stayed with our two children (5 &10) and had a great time. The lobby does get quite loud but we enjoyed the music and our kids loved all the games. We were up to our room by 8pm. You could still hear the music but it didn’t bother us and it ended before bedtime. Great location. Would definitely stay again but if you have babies or enjoy a more low key vibe, this might not be the place for you.

I loved my stay at the Moxy! The hotel is beautiful, modern & cozy! I loved the decor & fun vibes. My room was immaculate. I didn’t even find a strand of hair on my bedding (rare for any hotel)!! Friendly staff and great location! Will stay here whenever I visit Atlanta!

The soap dispenser didn’t work properly and the curtains weren’t clean.

Very chic hotel! Only complaint is that the shower’s bottles of shampoo and stuff. They hadn’t been cleaned and the liquids were nasty leaking outside of them.

Had 2 bookings for July 9-14 and 14-16, for my birthday (7/11). It started fine, but went downhill. The brown ladybug infestation (pics taken) caused not only constant swatting, but led to my salad by the pool to be sent back right away with a bug in it. Understandable. The 2nd salad didn't make it to me before the server apologized for another bug. Drove an extra 2 hours to tan/eat by the pool. Ate 3rd salad inside. The next catastrophe was that I invited my family to come stay from the 14th-16th. We had 4 rooms total. My sister woke up to the ceiling pouring water on her. The sister with high anxiety who had to be accompanied by flight and stay in her room in order to celebrate with me, woke up to a rainfall while the other occupant was teleworking and had to abort. Most of their things wet including electronics and suade shoes while a ring thay had gone down the drain was returned to the front desk. None of this is more upsetting that her experience being woken up in this manor and causing an anxiety attack. You all comped each room for 1 night except my room because I booked elsewhere. Points were given but not enough for a 1 night stay. Even worse, my sister who woke up to a rainfall was comped the same thing that the other 2 rooms were who were not affected by the flood. All of us were also without hot water for at least 8 hours. I had a birthday dinner with guests who could not take a shower. Then the elevator went out with my sister inside. Marriott sent a few points!

Walls were paper thin. Could hear our neighbor’s phone notifications going off, could hear other people’s conversations, etc.

Overall, the Moxy was great - the rooms were small with no refrigerator (they will deliver you a tiny one) and no closet. There are pegs along the front wall to hang clothes.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay—it was comfortable and relaxing. However, my only complaint is regarding the public WiFi. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to log onto a secured network, which made it difficult for me to work from my room. This limited my ability to fully enjoy the space. I would suggest offering a secured WiFi option for guests who need to work with proprietary or sensitive information. Overall, it was a great experience, and I hope this enhancement can be made for future stays.

The air conditioning was not working, I called to the front and no one responded. I was also placed next to the patio and from 11am until 10pm it was nonstop music from the dj pumping through my walls. I had to go sleep somewhere else just because of it. I asked to be moved but no one responded, again...I will never stay here again.

I really loved this hotel . The only downfall for me was not having a fridge in the room and a microwave but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Check in staff was not courteous. Room was small and no amenities. Not even a coffee maker.

The room didn't match the pictures on Expedia. I booked a 2 queen bed suite with a pull out couch/ sofa, and the Moxy hotel didn't have suites with a pull out couch. There was no mini fridge or microwave. I travel quite often and this was a disappointing stay.

I would have liked having a small refrigerator in room. I also would like having coffee in room. I loved the decoration of the room. I loved the bathroom.

This is a decent property. The staff was friendly and it was clean. However, the rooms don't have an iron (there was steamer), microwave, fridge and no closet. There were 2 small drawers. They have hooks if you want to hang your clothes. Also, there was no bucket for ice. You had to go to the front desk for ice. I was not in the room a lot, but having those things would've been nice.

Amazing property, but the best part of our stay was the phenomenal staff! Best experience we’ve ever had (by far!) with a hotel stay in Midtown. Location was perfect!

The hotel staff at the Moxy were so friendly and helpful. They were lovely to talk to and made us feel comfortable the moment we stepped in. The hotel itself has such a fun and vibrant vibe to it. We only got to stay one night but I wish we had more! I would Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fun place to stay while in Atlanta.

The check-in is at the bar. And if you wanna drink at the bar, most of the time there’s not a bartender just there it’s usually just the person that’s working the front desk behind the bar and they don’t apparently do both jobs and they will not offer to get you a drink if you want one. They tell you that you have to wait for a bartender. And every time I wanted to cocktail or a drink or whatever I had to wait like 5 to 10 minutes for someone to even show up while the person is standing there right in front of me behind the bar, but they won’t help me because they’re supposedly I guess work in the front desk only.

Check in was a breeze and I was not expecting the free welcome drink ticket - such an inviting touch. You can pick from a few different alcoholic beverages, I chose daiquiri and it did not disappoint! The room was cozy, modernly decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. I had a fantastic time and would happily stay at a Moxy again!

I would not recommend this hotel. I have just spent 4 nights from hell staying here. The reason I couldnt change? As the hotel not only double charged me at check in, therefore resulting in a hold of £2,050 on my credit card, they attempted to rectify this by checking me out and checking me back in again. Which resulted in me being charged again. So over £3000 hold on my credit card for a stay which should have cost me just over £1000. The hotel said the extra charges werent them and to phone my bank. Which I did. My bank said as the hotel was not admitting liability and he could see on my online account it was being charged by Moxy hotel, then this was fraudulent activity and to cancel my card. The hotel kept saying to me these pending charges would drop off my account when i checked out. I checked out 3 hours ago and they are still on my card. This was my daughters dream holiday. We actually ate in supermarkets, due to the extra £2000 hold on my credit card and the subsequent cancellation of the card we just couldnt afford restaurants. Service at the hotel was awful. Pool servers only served non residents who had booked cabanas. Front desk staff very unhelpful when i kept asking about the mounting charges. As i stood in tears at reception, raising my voice in frustration at the lack of help due to charges they called security for me. The nanager just smirked when i said i was anxious, upset and had to eat from a supermarket. Do not stay here

Very expensive hotel. They didn’t tell me about a deposit until I seen it taken out of my bank account. Paying to park is expensive and they don’t explain the parking to you or the prices. All they did was ask me if I paid to park and I said yes. That was just for one day. Then they automatically took 4 days of parking out of my account. I asked them about the money taken out of my account and the guy said he didn’t know and that I needed to contact my bank. Wasn’t my banks fault of course. Rooms are small and there was no fridge or microwave in the rooms. House keeper kept singing in the halls which was annoying. Rooms and parking garage are on opposite sides. Do not recommend to stay here.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience. The rooms were very cute and eclectic! It was super close to a lot of great restaurants. I can't wait to revisit the Moxy Atlanta Midtown!!!

Great staff, especially Jordan, Devon, DJ Boom and the entire front desk staff. We love the Atlanta Moxy because the staff and area makes it the best place to stay We wouldn't choose any other place in Atlanta to stay!

Easy checkin, great location, very hip.

Super fun for our family. Everyone who works there was excellent and helpful. My daughters loved the lobby and the decor is amazing. We came for the Georgia Aquarium and found the location to be great to drive there.

We had an awesome stay at Moxy Midtown! Check-in and out was a breeze. We loved being able to hang out in the "lobby" and play games, it felt like a living room with our own full bar! The beds were comfortable, and the room was super clean—the little touches like all the hooks on the wall and M&M's in the snack room. We parked in the garage all weekend and walked everywhere we wanted to go, the MTA was easily accessible too. We will stay here again for sure.

Great location

They don’t work correctly!! They charge to may card many many charges directly to my card!!! and when I did my check they charge a daily parking !!!!!! Even they charged the market stuff!!! I will never stay in that place. And at night it’s a very dangerous area !!!

Great walking distance from clubs and restaurants!

Location was everything. 10 min Lyft from everything. Bar was great. Pool and lounge was perfect. It was an entire vibe.

This property does not have a refrigerator in the room for diabetics, no body soap, no exhaust when showering or steam ironing in restroom, and very industrialized decore throughout. I expected more for the price. $300/night is too much to pay for this very casual resting spot. No restaurant inside hotel. Breakfast is a bagel and meat for $10. Parking is $34/night. DO NOT PARK ON THE STREETS. Be forewarned..

This was a pretty cool hotel. The reception is actually also the hotel bar which is pretty cool. The room was nice. The bathroom sliding door was broke so it didn't close right. The beds were pretty firm and took some getting used to. The housekeeping team is pretty noisey starting 7:30. Dining option was pretty disappointing and even considering staffing it was still very slow
