There was some construction going on right next to the hotel, so the pool was gone, and parking was limited on one side of the building. On the other hand, we had a room on the end of the building with parking right in front. It was pretty quiet and clean. The complimentary breakfast was simple but good. And the location was pretty close to everything we needed to go to.

The pool is closed, I’m not sure if it’s being renovated. The location is tucked I a corner behind a non operating restaurant kinda if hard to find. The parking lot is not paved. There’s a lot of debris near the check in area of the lot. Other than that our one night stay is comfy. Nice staff.

Inside was newly remodeled. Outside needs a lot of help. The parking lot is in serious need of repaving. There is a canal that runs on part of the perimeter and across from that large groups of people gather in the morning and play loud music. I asked the desk what that is about and they said they had no idea it was happening and suggested it might be a big party. I was thinking they were waiting to find work or be picked up for it. SIgnage and lighting is very poor. I arrived in the dark and there is a counterintuitive way to get into the hotel property that is not indicated in navigation instructrions. It is virtually impossible to figure it out unless you know what you are doing. If they would just direct people who are coming for the first time, it would be better. Also, their touted hot breakfast does not being til 8:30!!! And there is nowhere to sit and eat it!! It is all to-go. I could not stay til 8:30 as I had an appointment. I saw that many people had also left. It felt as though they were purposely starting late so that they did not have to provide many breakfasts. Be upfront ahead of time about those circumstances. Nice front desk people, though. They don't make jthe rules. No manager Ralph in sight.

This location is a bit scary. There are homeless people in the parking lot at night. It is very dark and the property set in the back of another parking lot. The staff was nice and check in was easy. The property itself was very run down and old. The sheets were stained , I slept in the chair after I found and killed baby roaches at least six of them that were crawling on the nightstand. Clearly there was a nest in the room. I also saw roaches crawling up and down the wall the tv was mounted on. So I wheeled my chair into the vanity area and covered myself with my extra clothes I had packed. Worst night sleep ever. The front desk said I should have told them and they would have given me a new room, let’s be honest here if there are roaches in that room they have them everywhere.

Went to the San Diego Zoo, and were going to spend the night here and go to the Safari Park the next day. The room was very dirty. There was dead bugs in the towels, the floor had not been cleaned as you could see dirty foot prints when we walked in and our feet were instantly dirty, there was pubic hair in the sink, and the trim around the door where the door latch mounts to was coming off. We ended up leaving and not staying the night and drove back to LA.

The room smelled of tobacco. The curtains stank. I mentioned this to the desk clerk, and he gave me a can of Febreze to use. Helped a little. Overall, the hotel was okay, but the room was not clean enough.

Staff are very nice. It's an old 'motel' that has 'some' upgrades. The oldness is fine - quaint, but cleaning could really be ramped up. I found clumps of mud (construction worker?) and then coffee stains on floor. This made me pull bed away from wall because I was a little freaked out and under the bed was filth. Clean the floors thoroughly EVERY Time and maybe pull beds out weekly. There were crumbs and hair in dresser drawers. This is simple stuff that can be controlled. I won't go back because of this but for the price it's okay. Beds comfortable, people nice, breakfast okay.

Its a place to sleep. Area around is not in the best shape. Lots of drug addicts/homeless around the property. Did not get the rooms that i reserved upon arriving. No one answered the phones when i called several times. One call you can hear them pick up, then hang up right away. Shower is made for really short people and you can tell the building needs to be maintained better.

Breakfast was worst I have ever had ever! The shower was awful and unsafe, went from scalding hot to ice cold. A 5 minute normal shower took 30 minutes. Deceptive from the Lu tire of what the place actually looked like.

The staff was friendly. The hotel has been recently (more or less) renovated. I stayed there a decade ago and it is much nicer now. I got a room with a bathtub and had a good, long hot bath. Everything was fine.

The room was very spacious for the price. Breakfast was very simple eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal and yogurt. Nothing special but good just to hold you over until lunch. Best part is coffee is available 24 hours.

I was expecting the Quality Inn service. They normally are on point. Yesterday came from the airport trying to check in. I waited for 5 minutes while the gentleman sitting at the front counter stared and texted on his phone. There was no confusion on the fact he didn’t see me. I was the only one there. I stood there staring back. That was alright. I got my room I went on with it. Then I read reviews on the place and thought to myself well I don’t have those issues as described. I spoke too soon. I saw a roach crawling on the tv. Then another crawling towards the bed. And then another middle of the room. I was disappointed. There really isn’t any point to notify management of the issue because from other reviews they say to contact them during business hours. Then when they did talk to them shrugs it off. I wouldn’t recommend this particular location. It is more of the franchise name that is bought and the quality is less than. 🙁

This property is not in the best area. Lock your cars and park close to your room. However, the hotel has been updated, the rooms are comfortable and roomy and the hotel staff is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, we filed a noise complaint at 3am and security showed up within minutes and took care of the issue. Would stay again if in the area. Reasonably priced for what you are getting.

Absolutely the worst stay of my life . Zero hospitality from this place. They kicked my wife out of the room because the front desk didn't check my in correctly. Don't wish thia service on my worst enemy.

The staff at check in was not very friendly, the area around the hotel was not very nice, lots of homeless hanging out in the parking lot at all hours of the day and night, and our room didn't get cleaned one of the days. When we went to the front to ask for more towels we were told house keeping wasn't available and they found ONE towel to give us. Overall, would not recommend this hotel.

This location is a bit scary. There are homeless people in the parking lot at night. It is very dark and the property set in the back of another parking lot. The staff was nice and check in was easy. The property itself was very run down and old. The sheets were stained , I slept in the chair after I found and killed baby roaches at least six of them that were crawling on the nightstand. Clearly there was a nest in the room. I also saw roaches crawling up and down the wall the tv was mounted on. So I wheeled my chair into the vanity area and covered myself with my extra clothes I had packed. Worst night sleep ever. The front desk said I should have told them and they would have given me a new room, let’s be honest here if there are roaches in that room they have them everywhere.

Inside was newly remodeled. Outside needs a lot of help. The parking lot is in serious need of repaving. There is a canal that runs on part of the perimeter and across from that large groups of people gather in the morning and play loud music. I asked the desk what that is about and they said they had no idea it was happening and suggested it might be a big party. I was thinking they were waiting to find work or be picked up for it. SIgnage and lighting is very poor. I arrived in the dark and there is a counterintuitive way to get into the hotel property that is not indicated in navigation instructrions. It is virtually impossible to figure it out unless you know what you are doing. If they would just direct people who are coming for the first time, it would be better. Also, their touted hot breakfast does not being til 8:30!!! And there is nowhere to sit and eat it!! It is all to-go. I could not stay til 8:30 as I had an appointment. I saw that many people had also left. It felt as though they were purposely starting late so that they did not have to provide many breakfasts. Be upfront ahead of time about those circumstances. Nice front desk people, though. They don't make jthe rules. No manager Ralph in sight.

Construction next door made navigating the parking lot a bit chaotic, and there were homeless people nearby and even in the lot, which gave the area a bit of a shady feel. It also seemed like a number of people actually lived at the hotel, which changed the atmosphere compared to a typical stay. I worried about my car at night, but thankfully we had no issues. The AC unit was very loud, and the property itself is definitely older and showing its age. That said, it served its purpose for a short stay.

The inside of the hotel was very nice and decent but the outside wallway was dirty, going thru the parking lot is yes lose durt and holes. We feel insecure because the hotel was far from the street.

The area around the Quality Inn is a little scary. The staff was very sweet, the room was clean. The only problem is that we were not comfortable with our surroundings. If we had not brought teenagers or children we would have stayed. We checked out after one night and none of our prepaid stay was refunded. We accepted the loss because safety for the children was most important. There is a lot of homeless folks in the immediate area. The staff was great otherwise.

The breakfast does not start until 8:30 which is way too late. I told them that if I had known, we would have stayed somewhere else as we had to be somewhere at 9. They said they would help, they were open at 8. No place to sit, you have to bring it back to your room. Eggs were awful, but the coffee was pretty good.

We stay at motels/hotels often, and this one has some above average qualities. First, they offer daily room service - new towels, etc. In addition, there is an attendant in the breakfast room who gives personalized service - making the waffles for clientele, etc. The front desk staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are modern and tasteful.

The hotel is clean but out dated. The pool area is big but looks old as well. Breakfast is part of the stay but they serve you and you’re only able to eat in your room and it’s only 1 serve per person staying in the room.

The rooms were good, except the floors probably hadnt been mopped for a while. Our feet were black from walking around barefoot. Breakfast was ok. I wish they had more options. It was eggs and sausage, waffles and cereal.

Stay was okay. The breakfast was a horrible thing. No chairs to sit down and eat. Very limited food. Worst breakfast I've ever had. When they say they have breakfast, it's a complete joke. Don't let the pictures fool you. Could have stayed at cheaper places for the same lack of quality.

Surprisingly nice place for the price. However, free breakfast is from 8:30 to 10:00, which is fairly ridiculous for anyone who needs to start the day early.

Don’t choose this place! The picture is deceiving. We had to pay a fee for our kids over 10!! -not on the website! The check-in guy had dirty clothes and his tag was upside down. It felt very sketchy and unsafe. The room doors open to the road and there was a cop arresting someone in the parking lot and some homeless people walking around. The room was clean and fine aside from the hairdryer not working. The breakfast was a joke: there was only waffles, a few pieces of fruits, cereals with milk and some yogurts. No eggs, no bread or muffins, no oatmeal. And no place to sit!! You had to take your breakfast in your room! If you are a man on a business trip you’ll be fine but don’t bring a family.
