The hotel is a mid-rise brick building that was previously a paint factory. It has stylish decor related to the paint factory. Our king suite had a bedroom area, a separate living area, and a double sink bathroom with a double sized shower with two rain shower fixtures. We paid extra for the breakfast at Palette, the restaurant and it was very good. Parking was an extra $20 per night in the adjacent parking garage. We attended a concert at a stadium, and the hotel provided a free shuttle both ways. The hotel is a 15 to 20-minute walk to the capitol building and restaurants. We had a great stay.

Great, clean, comfortable room and lobby. Very nice and helpful staff. Sadly, no open restaurant and/or bar on Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. Perfectly located for the Sylvee music venue. Price was very expensive…$350 for a Sunday night. Understanding a 2000 person concert was a block away…still pretty steep for a hotel with no amenities. Major major building construction going on across the street. Limited walking and driving. Heavy construction noise started at 7:30am. Will stay again if attending the Sylvee…any other reason to be in Madison, I will look elsewhere.

Great location. We came for a concert across the street at Breese Field. The hotel was super clean. The fitness room was great! The house keeping staff was amazing. Clark at the front desk was super helpful. When we come back to Madison we will stay here again.

Property seemed to be under construction, the parking is wierd and shared with other businesses. We had left our exit card in the room and called the front desk and literally he cursed at us and would not open the gate to let us out for an overnight stay that was paid and finished. Poor, poor, customer relations and service. We surely are not the only people to have left our exit card in our room upon checking out - for such a response and reaction from the front desk person. Won’t be going back…

Construction surrounds the property. The pillows are much too big BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT! The staff is friendly and they embraced our pooch, Finn. The king suite room is roomy and nice with a comfortable layout. All in all, nice stay.

I stayed only one night for a conference. It’s an old paint factory and there was a significant paint smell in the hallway due to renovations happening. The room was good, bathrobes were a plus, and bed was soft and comfy. The bar had some fun specially drinks and the food was good.

I love staying at this hotel. It’s conveniently close to so many restaurants and a great concert venue which is why it’s always first in mind whenever I visit Madison. Everything’s either in walking distance or a short rideshare/ drive away. Every time I’ve visited my rooms have been PRISTINE. Everything is neat, clean, smells fresh and available for me so that I don’t need to worry if I forgot a toiletry or two at home. In my opinion, this is the only place to stay in Madison!

This was a one night stay to see a favorite artist of ours playing just down the street. The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. Hotel had a clean industrial decor. We sat on the patio for a night cap and ate breakfast in the dining room in the morning. The breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. The hotel was very close to the Capital. Parking ramp was right next to hotel but not connected, it had reserved parking for hotel guests.

This is my favorite hotel I've stayed at in Madison. Right across the street from the Forward Madison stadium at Breese Stevens Field. I love the themed lobby and rooms. Hallways are clean, trendy, elegant. Lots of big windows, old enchanting brick and cement, and well-designed accents. I like that there were no single use toiletries in the bathroom. The lighting and furniture and climate control in the room were excellent. I can't wait to return.

New and updated hotel. Loved how close it was to the Sylvee. Staff was great. Room was big and I loved the nespresso. My complaint only comes from the noise - the building next door is under heavy construction so I was woken up when they started work to trucks backing up and loud noises. Would definitely stay here again when construction is complete.

Wow! We've traveled a lot recently in the US, Mexico, Austria, and this is by far the nicest hotel we've stayed at in a long time. It's obvious that everyone here takes pride in what they do. Not a single complaint. Everything was amazing. From the lobby, the decor, the comfy beds and pillows, the soaps, and the incredible shower, it all rocked our socks off. We've definitely found our new go to hotel downtown.

I want to be clear my poor rating is completely based on the breakfast staff for the restaurant. We were completely ignored even though we were the only people there and our order was incorrect when it finally came. Other than this, the place was great and I would still recommend it.

I have stayed at the Indigo in Madison many times over the past three years--it's around the corner from my daughter's apartment. Every time we have stayed there, we have loved the accommodations, the staff have been unerringly polite and helpful, and we will always look to stay there again!

This is a beautiful and super fun hotel! The design incoporates it's past as a Mautz Paint factory. I didn't know this when we booked the hotel. We booked it because it was close to the Sylvee for our concert. The hotel was clean, fun decor and beautiful! We unfortunately did not go to the bar or restaurant but we will be back for sure. Also the hotel is within a very short distance to the Sylvee and visual distance of the Capital.

Front desk staff, (Andrew) was extremely helpful. Excellent customer support. Thank you Drew. Cocktails and meals at the Palette Bar and Grill are always great. The hotel has a good location, fun décor, and clean. This is one of my favorite hotels in Madison.

Our 2nd time staying at this location and it was excellent. Only downside is breakfast stops at 9:30am, majority of places serve breakfast until at least 10am or 11am even. We will stay here again in February when we return to Madison.
