I thought the amenities were excellent (breakfast, guest laundry available, swimming pool...and a fitness center!). The room was super spacious and very clean as well. Overall, my husband and I were very impressed with our stay.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is convenient to interstate 44 However, it is not in a good neighborhood.the majority of parking spaces are reserved for “fuel, efficient carpool vehicles” I ended up having to park very near to a dodgy looking apartment complex. And having to carry all of my gear around the building to the front door. I was told by the desk clerkthat my Audi diesel which gets 44 miles to the gallon did not qualify to park in one of those spaces close to the door because I was a solo traveler.

Clean hotel, with up-to-date decor, rooms in which everything functions properly, clean smelling linens, and pillows. Comfortable beds, electronic thermostat. Modern bathroom with hair dryer. Four Tesla, 50 amp EV chargers in the parking lor. Lobby computer and printer. Free hot breakfast with a variety of choices. WiFi and room TV that works with your Roku. Hot water with good pressure on the top floor. Blackout blinds, convenient access to major roadways. Friendly and responsive staff.

Good Hotel. Friendly staff. Our biggest complaint was the pool temperature… it was uncomfortably COLD. And, I’ve been in a ton of pools. They don’t have a hot tub. So, just be aware. The hotel chooses to do their towels and laundry right in the front lobby, using the check in counter staff to do the sorting and folding. While not horrible, it was NOT a good look. You only get one chance to make a first impression….

Main areas in good condition and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walls around toilet in bathroom had visible stains. It was all you could do to stay out of the center of the bed and there were lights (smoke detector, thermostat, etc) blinking all night in the room.

Convenient: Right off the highway. Plenty food choices close by. Walmart near by. Gas station right next door. Good breakfast (pancakes, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, Potatoes, western omelette, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, go bags in case you are in a rush) Room freshness: Some sort of musty smell in the room especially the bathroom. The exhaust did not work. Customer centric: reservation made for 2 Adults and 2 Children but there were only 2 towels in the bathroom. Front desk provided additional upon request.

We got to our room and it smelled awful I found someone to spray it didn’t help much. Our tv didn’t work they had to come fix that. We left and came back and still smelled awful maintenance sprayed again. Made it barable. Tile floor was dirty. It was just awful

I ended up checking out early, as they had fleas and possible bed bugs. My son and daughter had rashes all over them and not to mention bug bites. I asked housekeeper to change my bedding and it wasn't done. Holidsy Inn didn't refund me the charges and front desk told me I had to inform someone from Expedia. They said manager would be informed and took my information, but no one has called me. I tried calling Expedia customer service and couldn't get through also with chat which didn't submitt my request for call back. Worst experience ever. I am requesting a refund or some type of credit.

Hotel was next to a big restaurant with loud music. I asked about pet policies because I saw SO many dogs while doing check in, I was told even if the dogs are barking they couldn't do anything about it. So if you are a pet person this will be heaven for you. If you are NOT a pet person, keep looking. Breakfast area was very well served, clean and ladies friendly.

The Breakfast was great both days. Staff was amazing and nice and polite. Good parking. Easy to get to and from. The negative issues, there was no bathroom fan and it was very hot, steemed mirror. Had to leave door open 30 min to use. The window blinds were conttolled by remote controll. The remote did not work, spent 10 minutes to get blinds to move, very frustrating. The front desk stated all of them are broken, no replacement available. Other than those two issues, it was a good experience.

Both people we spoke to at the desk weren’t kind but that we can deal with. We rented a suite with a family room, bedroom and bathroom and between the three spaces there was ONE trashcan. There is NO light in the living area. The head of the shower was broken. The bathroom is the smallest we’ve had in a hotel. The shower pressure was awful and fluctuated when the neighbor flushed their toilet or turned on water. The bar in the shower was so poorly placed I smacked my elbow multiple times just trying to shower. The shampoo smelled AWFUL. The entire floor and our room smelled musky like towels had been wet for days everywhere. The elevator barely worked. The button wouldn’t light up and had to wait a looong time to even arrive. The safety lock on the door didn’t work. When we called the front desk to tell them the phone was missing half the buttons and the cord didn’t stay in the receiver they stated they would have ‘maintence look into it.’ The fridge barely stayed cold, the Keurig spit water all over. This hotel was a 0/5 for us. Absolutely awful.

We arrived at 4:04 PM and were told our room was not ready, can we wait 10 or 15 min? There were at least two others waiting. We looked around and had to get a manager to let us in the pool and fitness rooms. He looked into our situation, told us it was unusual but still we waited by the desk. At least three others arrived and were checked in. We were told that someone did not show and they were short handed, the GM had left early knowing this I am sure. Yet here we stood after making reservations two weeks ago. At 4:35 I stepped up to tell them we we’re leaving and we were told the room was ready even though the computer did no say so. After a day on the road and the fact that check in was at 3PM I found this annoying. We are on the road for a month and this is the first we have waited on a room, especially here where Express is part of the name. Perhaps Expedia customers are treated differently.

It was as clean and things taken care of as well as a person show could do. I felt so bad for the single employee working. She had a line the entire time, answering phones, being housekeeping. She was so sweet but it was poor planning and not right to schedule just one person.

Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. Lobby was bright, open and attractive. Our room was very clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The breakfast had a good assortment of foods including pancakes and was delicious. Everything was clean and appeared well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

I'll start with the good stuff. The breakfast was great. Good food, well prepared. The lady in charge was very nice. The hotel was clean and the room was as well, when we got there. Now the not so good. In the room, there was a control for raising and lowering the shades. Didn't work unless I took the control apart and mashed on the battery. When I mentioned it, they kind of sluffed it off. The really bad part was the maid service or lack thereof. They came in on Thanksgiving day and left towels, but did nothing else. On Friday, they never cleaned the room. We came back in about 9:00 PM, after having been out all day. The trash cans were full. There facial tissue was empty. There was 1/2 roll of toilet paper left. When we complained. they said their policy is not to clean the rooms unless it is specifically requested. I asked if that was a new policy for Holiday Inn Express and was told that was their policy. I have stayed in these hotels for many years and this is the first time my room wasn't cleaned. I have never had to request it. If this is the new policy for Holiday Inns, I will not stay at another one. No other hotel makes us request room cleanup. We always leave a tip for the maids and of course, it was still there, because they didn't enter the room. This was a huge inconvenience for us, especially that late at night, and I feel a partial refund should be made for our trouble. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.

We ordered weeks in advance to have shared joined rooms because we were bringing all of our young children so they could safely have a room to play in and they changed us at the last minute to not joined rooms. The mini fridge did not work in one of our rooms. There was someone else’s hair in the bathroom on the towels. And only one staff names Ethan was nice to us. The rest of the staff were extremely rude and hateful. Will not be staying there again.

Staff were really great, especially Paige. Breakfast was also good but I wish they had more for vegetarians. The very nice server offered to make me an omelette without meat but I didn't want to trouble her and we were nearly finished. I will know next time for sure. And I thought it was super nice of her to offer. We would definitely stay here again. (And eat at Van Gogh's again.)
