Room and hotel were very clean. Breakfast was delicious and had great options! Pool was very dirty. Laundry facilities were not great due to multiple machines being out of order. It was also difficult for payment to process as laundry facilities.

Hotel is central to three national parks so worked well for us. Hotel was brilliant although the ice machine rattling out ice from 5:50 to various occupants was a bit of a rude awakening. Good brekkie and swimming pool and hot tub👍

Would be better if you had charging for electric vehicles other than just Tesla. Also encouraging large tour bus groups to be more respectful (not loud talking) in hallways of their talking volume. Like signage saying “SHUT UP before 7:30 am”

We stayed after our R2R completion. The amenities met our needs, especially the hot tub. When we checked out and were driving away, I received a call that they had found my AirPods in our room, I was so grateful! I had just bought them, would have been devastated with leaving them. Fantastic customer service! Thank you!

The room was great. Staff was helpful and kind. The pool and hot tub were super dirty. We had to strain leaves, trash and even a chair out of the poool. The bottom of the hot tub has a damaged cover and cut my son's feet.

We were in a handicapped access room - the shower did not have an adequate floor seal to keep water out of the bathroom area and there was visible mold in the tile grout areas - likely due to this water problem

I stayed here years ago when the hotel was fairly new, and it used to be a great experience. This time, about six years later with what appears to be new management, the standards seemed to have slipped. The hallways had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the overall atmosphere felt off. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I’d choose this hotel again.

At first glance, everything was very nice and clean. When i got to the bathroom it looked good also...until i got in to use it and there was long black hair everywhere. A hotel bathroom with hair is like hair in my food, in my opinion. Just gross. Then at 6am, the alarm on the clock in the room went off! If that is not already on the room services check list, it should be. Completely unacceptable. Then I stepped in the shower where they provide refillable full size containers of shampoo, conditioner & body wash. After 3 pumps of body wash, it was empty. I was stuck in the shower with no soap. Strike 3, you're out! The rest of the room and building seemed to be clean. The breakfast was nice. And the dinning area was clean and large. I did not use any of the other imenities; gym, pool etc so i can't speak to those. In short, if you like someone elses hair in you bathroom where you can't get clean and like to be woken up early on your vacation, this is the place for you.

Room 216 was very dirty, big visible spots on the couch and somebody's booger was on the duvet cover, I have taken photos but it doesn't look like photos can be uploaded. Bathroom had hairs on the floor and on the counter. Interior is visible aged, walls dirty, hotel is in need of a renovation. I was shocked this hotel was rated so highly! Felt scammed by the high rating, not sure where the disconnect is or maybe I got unlucky with the room. Staff was nice. Breakfast was fine, though they were out of milk...

Had a good stay. It’s a nice hotel and well maintained. The room was nice and big, with two beds, a sofa, and 2 TVs. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice place. My biggest issue was that the thermostat in my room wasn’t working. I spent a cold night and the next morning asked the staff. They said there’s a little trick to making it work. Sure enough the next night it worked OK, but I was annoyed I had to do the “little trick.”

Liked the excellent hot breakfast in the morning, easy walking distance to shops and tourist attractions, and the rooms were clean and new. Bed was super-comfortable, and a nice-sized TV with HBO! What more could I ask for!

Traveling for business, I rely on the internet for work, Kanab has optical fiber and very fast internet. However, I had issues with the internet on the fourth floor in the room 422 across from the elevator. It was impossible for me to work from the comfort of my room. When able to connect I had close to “dialup” performances. Needless to say that I tried multiple devices. Internet was fine everywhere else but my room! When asked about it, the manager replied that he never had issues before… and that anyway the hotel was “full” so he couldn’t move me to a different room. As he seemed skeptical, I offered to show him the internet speed and latency experienced in that room, but he refused. I was offered the conference room but It wasn’t comfortable nor was it appealing. After wasting a day, that evening I had enough and asked to be moved to a different room. Magically a room was available on the 3rd floor. And guess what, the internet was fine there. I would advise the owner to believe its customers and fix his Access Points. And yes, of all the beautiful places on earth people still travel for work to Kanab.

In general our stay was good. But in the morning August 18th I gave our room key to the reception lady and I realized that I forgot water bottle in the room. My husband went to the reception lady and asked for keys and she screamed at him, that he needs to way she is busy. Well, I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but at 7:00am.

The front desk people need some one on one customer service training. I suggest with different guest scenarios. She said she was the only one there and was taking care of the breakfast food and also tending the front desk. You could tell she was flustered, and made mention that she was the only one there the other person was on break. While she was taking care of my needs, another guest came up, said that they were running out of a certain item of food. So the property needs to be staff properly to meet the guest needs. I stayed at La Quinta because my last time I was here two years ago. The guest service were awesome and treated you like a welcomed guest. Not just as a customer. I think you get my point overall I had a great day she tried her best. She just was frustrated and Overwhelmed and it impacted how she came across.

It was close to the Grand Canyon National Park and breakfast was good. Check in was smooth with a friendly and smiling staff. However, the Manager who was at the front desk the 2nd day of our stay was quite rude with a condescending manner when I asked about an early check out. Upon check out, the same Manager was at the front desk and the same attitude I got from her. She dismissed me with saying since I booked with Expedia I will get an email for the receipt. I asked her to print me a receipt and she said, "let's see if it will work" handed me a printout and left the counter without even saying the usual "thank you for staying with us".

The location can't be beat. it's so close to all the parks and trails in all directions. The hotel itself is modern and clean. It's also very close to downtown Kanab with all the groceries and tourist center that have information for the entire region.

The free breakfast was terrible bagels and muffins were hard as a rock and the juice comes out of a machine watered down the lady tending the breakfast is awkward watching over you as you make a plate but never says hi or good morning then vacuuming while we had breakfast it was quite uncomfortable I’ll pay a bit more to stay elsewhere the area was beautiful as it’s Kanab

Great place to rest. Clean, quiet, affordable. Applepay didn’t work at register, but receptionist was helpful and polite. Breakfast was okay, no fresh fruit or potatoes, eggs were cold. But I enjoyed the waffles! Coffee was good.

Our room was immaculate and the staff was awesome. The whole stay was wonderful. The only recommendation I would make would be that the hotel should change the breakfast menu every day or so. They served sausage and eggs everyday we were there for 9 days.

Breakfast was not the best. I mean it was the same exact thing everyday with no variation. Scrabbled eggs looked watery, the cereal dispenser crushed the cereal as it was coming out, juice variation was good. Coffee was available all day. Overall, breakfast flavor was decent. There wasn't anyone to really answer your question if you needed help with something during breakfast.
