The location is great but the property is barely fit for purpose. Doors that are broken, plumbing that clogs constantly, a fan switch that sparks, no water pressure and leaks, no air conditioning. Avoid unless you have to stay in the area

The room was fine but little amenities. It was large so didnt have any extra seating just one desk and a chair. There were drinking glasses. No complimentary bottle water. Room was stark. No frills. It was like staying in a convent. It could use an upgrade. We did appreciate the customer service. The woman checking us in was very kind to us. The selling point of the place was the location to the main square.

Very nice stay, lovely rooms and facilities, outside door is impressive but there's no sign on it, the address we were told was #82, but it's actually #76 next door, good luck finding it, but i'd go back, great price and friendly staff.

It wasn't as great as expected: kind of run down with broken amenities and noisy. Likes: I love the location! Right by the center of Coyoacán and the market. I like the patio outside with trees and grass. I also liked the apartment style setting. Dislikes: lots of noise. You can hear the employees, every other guest going in and out of their rooms as well as their conversations. We were woken up at 5am every morning to a French family yelling at each other. Lots of broken amenities such as the tv controller, hair dryer, towels racks, stovetop. The shower was in and out of hot water. We also never received cleaning service in the 4 days we were there.

El problema más que la limpieza, fueron las instalaciones. No parece que le estén invirtiendo, y para el precio que manejan, es muy por encima de lo que ofrecen. Les recomendamos como usuarios, tomar más atención a ese tipo de cosas. Mantenimiento de las instalaciones (paredes, puertas, electrodomésticos, sistema de refrigeración y calefacción). Nos hospedamos ahora en un hotel de Coyoacán, que nos cobró exactamente lo mismo por noche, y la habitación cumple con las expectativas acorde a las fotos que muestran en la plataforma, y lo que se esperaría de un hotel.

This property is a hidden gem. It is not fancy at all. It is in a wonderful location, walking distance to Plaza Hidalgo, restaurants, museums. If you are a frugal traveler and use your room to bathe and sleep, this is your spot. We were treated so well here, always someone on site and you can get coffee, breakfast and other snacks for purchase at the hotel.

The location of this house could not be more strategic if you are going to the center of Coyoacan. There are several restaurants nearby, and all kinds of fun places like the market is a short walk away. The staff were friendly, especially the lady during the day. Having said that, The room was nice and spacious, It was ideal for one person. I happen to see other rooms And they seemed spacious as well. The bathroom faucet had absolutely no pressure, or hot water. They need to invest a good bit of money fixing the plumbing for the entire place. I had to request a new showerhead because it was completely clogged, and it has absolutely no pressure and it took forever to get hot water. I believe everything else was lovely and clean, but the plumbing, water, pressure, and water temperature were were a bit of a mess. Other than that, the place was very nice. If you are one of those people that likes to take a shower with a lot of pressure and nice hot water, you’re not gonna find out here.

We rented a loft (the Jalapeno loft) it overlooks the street on the 2nd floor. It was comfortable but please note it doesn't have air conditioning but at night, Coyoacan is in the 80's during the day and 50's at night so you don't really need it. They do provide you with a fan so it was not bad at all. It does have a functioning kitchen, but no utensils or pans to cook with. La senora Lidia is an excellent host very nice, approachable and is there for anything you need. The hotel is in a very safe area, in front of the hotel, they have a missionary convent, and this hotel is only 3 blocks away from downtown and there is places to eat within walking distance. The only concern for me was the lack of air conditioning but it didn't really affect my stay at all. Will definitely recommend if you need a safe stay, comfortable stay within walking distance to downtown, the main plaza, mercado, and places to grab a bite. Will book another stay next year if we decide to visit Coyoacan.

Quiero ser justo: la localización del hotel es fantástica y la instalación es preciosa, pero el hotel tiene un serio problema con la limpieza. Por reglas internas, extrañamente, solo se limpian los cuartos uno cada tres días, pero ni siquiera eso se cumple. Hay dos encargadas de limpieza que se van alternando. Una de ellas sí limpia el cuarto cada tercer día, pero cuando se va e ingresa la otra no lo hace prácticamente nunca. Cuando después de cuatro días le preguntamos por qué no se había limpiado el cuarto, respondió: "ustedes nunca lo pidieron", como si la limpieza del cuarto no fuera parte de labor de un hotel, sino un favor especial. Le entregamos bolsas repletas de la basura acumulada. En el cuarto Piquín que nos tocó la bañera se inundaba, de modo que quien se ducha corre el riesgo de resbalarse (además de lo molesto que es tener los pies inundados de agua sucia). Un día de nuestra día no hubo agua y no pudimos bañarnos. Las instalaciones son muy agradables, y las áreas verdes son perfectas para descansar. Hotel de contrastes.

Le falta mantenimiento, la limpieza es mínima, la regadera fuga agua todo el tiempo. Sólo me agradó la ubicación. Con poner atención al mantenimiento mejoraría .

La estancia ha sido muy buena, aunque las instalaciones son muy descuidadas y antiguas, la limpieza es óptima y la ubicación perfecta. Muy mala comunicación antes de la llegada, no ha habido ninguna información y directiva.

This has to be the WORST place I have ever stayed in. I should have listened to the reviews. The room we rented comes with a double bed and a couch. Well the couch was dirty, the lady gave us a sheet to put over the couch to sit or sleep on. The bed was HARD!! It is very rubbed down. Walls are dirty, floors are dirty. There were worms coming out of the shower. The room was not secured. There was a window that locked from the outside which left our belonging unsecured and unprotected from other guest. We never got clean sheets or cleaned towels. We literally had to ask for toilet paper every single day because they will only give you 1 roll a day no matter how many people. Just don’t do it, it was just gross.

Deberían advertir en sus anuncios, que el aseo no se hace diario, que no tiene restaurante y que el desayuno lo llevan a tu cuarto donde no hay mesa para comer. Nosotros tuvimos que cancelar los desayunos porque...¡no había huevos! Lo pedimos a cierta hora, porque teníamos un horario muy apretado y la encargada nos "sugirió" que fuera mas tarde, para ir a comprar huevos, o que pidieramos otro alimento. Mi experiencia en ese disque hotel fue TERRIBLE.

The property location is perfect, I felt safe. Needs to maintain the cleanliness better. Maybe with room spray, The TV had no Chanels to watch, no local TV communication. The bathroom could be cleaner and the smells in the closet area was not favorable. The bed needed one leg. but was helps with bricks. Great location. Loved the area.

En general el costo - beneficio no fue bueno, una tarifa muy alta por una habitacion muy pobre. Aunque la limpieza fue buena, hay cosas que deberian de mejorar/atender: - El colchón muy incomodo y usado - El bańo pequeńisimo - La cerradura de la habitacion para cerrar por dentro no servia. - Los canales de la tele nunca pudieron ser sintonizados. - Las cortinas en buenas condiciones pero se abrian y se veia todo desde afuera.

Excelente ubicación y personal amable, sin embargo las instalaciones no son las mejores, lo negativo es la regadera que funciona terrible (o te bañas con agua fría o está hirviendo y no se puede regular) y para época de frío es indispensable el agua caliente.

Puntos a considerar: -La regadera es todo un reto el aprender a usarla, o sale muy caliente o sale muy fría, no estaría mal revisar ese detalle. -La habitación en general es cómoda, la limpieza es destacable y en general hay buen descanso -El servicio de la hostess Lidia es de aplaudir, en todo momento te informa bien de las cosas y trata de ser servicial hasta donde se puede. -REVISEN BIEN SI SU HABITACIÓN YA ESTA PAGADA A LA HORA DE HACER CHECK-IN, PUEDE SER CONFUSO Y GENERAR CONFLICTO AL CREER QUE SI LO ESTABA, RECOMENDACIÓN, VERIFIQUEN ANTES DE SOLO DECIR, PERO SI YA LA PAGUE!! POR EL BIEN DE SU ESTANCIA, Y PARA EVITAR CONTRATIEMPOS. Totalmente recomendada como opción para visitar Coyoacán.

The room was fine but little amenities. It was large so didnt have any extra seating just one desk and a chair. There were drinking glasses. No complimentary bottle water. Room was stark. No frills. It was like staying in a convent. It could use an upgrade. We did appreciate the customer service. The woman checking us in was very kind to us. The selling point of the place was the location to the main square.

The hotel overall was great, location and safety, however the room we got El Piquin not so much all we got was a bed, one table chair and 2 tiny nightstands, thats it for furniture...on wall the TV which u were force to watch from the bed as the only chair in the room was used for multiple things but sitting the room is big and feels extra empty, the balcony cant be use at all because there is no furniture outside, the nice lady that multi task around the small hotel offered breakfast in the room but we didnt try it once because we would've have to eat in bed with our plates in our legs. I have to say that we were 3 couples and the other 2 couples were alot lucky then us as their room looked much comfortable with many more features, and we pay extra! For the balcony. I would stay but i would definitely pick another room, got over excited with balcony wich we didnt even use.

It wasn't as great as expected: kind of run down with broken amenities and noisy. Likes: I love the location! Right by the center of Coyoacán and the market. I like the patio outside with trees and grass. I also liked the apartment style setting. Dislikes: lots of noise. You can hear the employees, every other guest going in and out of their rooms as well as their conversations. We were woken up at 5am every morning to a French family yelling at each other. Lots of broken amenities such as the tv controller, hair dryer, towels racks, stovetop. The shower was in and out of hot water. We also never received cleaning service in the 4 days we were there.

This has been the most outstanding stay in Coyoacán. Pepper my love is close (walk-in distance)to local restaurants, mercados where you can find traditional foods, parishes, gothic building structures, street art, farmers markets, and so on. In addition the room is very clean, quiet, they also have an in-house food menu in case you want to dine in in the room. Mrs Lydia the hostess is SO GREAT! She is available 24/7 and just a call away. She is very helpful and attentive to any needs. My stay was over all GREAT (more than I expected) and price $ was affordable. I highly recommend staying here.

Las instalaciones podrían estar en mejores condiciones. En el baño no había un lugar adecuado donde colgar las toallas húmedas, no había agua caliente en el lavamanos (que es demasiado pequeño), ni una repisa o lugar para poner los artículos de aseo personal; además, la regadera no tiene un cancel o cortina adecuada para evitar que el piso fuera de la misma se salpique al usarla. En cuanto a la habitación, si se ofrece el servicio de alimentos a la misma, sería útil que hubiera una mesa para poder comerlos apropiadamente, que se pusiera al menos un tapete a cada lado de la cama para evitar entrar en contacto con el piso frío al levantarse, y que e tuviera un lugar más adecuado para colgar la ropa al sacarla de la maleta. Finalmente, la información en publicada necesita ser actualizada: en la página decía que el pago se haría durante la estancia, pero no se mencionaba que se solicitaría un depósito previo al inicio de la estancia (que me fue pedido 2 días antes), y en la información de los servicios y amenidades incluidos se indica que la limpieza de la habitación es diaria, pero al llegar, se me informó que la limpieza se hace solamente cada tercer día. Lo mejor de la propiedad está en su ubicación y accesibilidad.

Las instalaciones están descuidadas y viejas y hay una sola persona encargada de absolutamente todo. Se escucha todo, no es real ni la bebida de bienvenida ni el menú a la carta que se ofrece. Tampoco el servicio de transporte. Piden un deposito que no tienen manera de reconocer y vuelven a cobrar al llegar al establecimiento para brindar acceso.

The owner wanted a certain amount of pesos in advance aside from the Expedia rate otherwise she would cancel the reservation. I contacted her immediately and arranged to personally give her the money. When we arrived at the property the owner was not there, no one at the property knew anything about this and she never answered my message. I have been visiting CDMX for over 30 years and never had a bad experience. We were charged a fee in US$. Be very careful about this property.

This property is a hidden gem. It is not fancy at all. It is in a wonderful location, walking distance to Plaza Hidalgo, restaurants, museums. If you are a frugal traveler and use your room to bathe and sleep, this is your spot. We were treated so well here, always someone on site and you can get coffee, breakfast and other snacks for purchase at the hotel.

Deberían advertir en sus anuncios, que el aseo no se hace diario, que no tiene restaurante y que el desayuno lo llevan a tu cuarto donde no hay mesa para comer. Nosotros tuvimos que cancelar los desayunos porque...¡no había huevos! Lo pedimos a cierta hora, porque teníamos un horario muy apretado y la encargada nos "sugirió" que fuera mas tarde, para ir a comprar huevos, o que pidieramos otro alimento. Mi experiencia en ese disque hotel fue TERRIBLE.

The property location is perfect, I felt safe. Needs to maintain the cleanliness better. Maybe with room spray, The TV had no Chanels to watch, no local TV communication. The bathroom could be cleaner and the smells in the closet area was not favorable. The bed needed one leg. but was helps with bricks. Great location. Loved the area.
