He is extremely proactive with communication to see to the needs of his guests and has stocked the common areas of the house with items for use or purchase. The rooms are spotless, and Louie is extremely polite and informative with suggestions on dining and sightseeing. You can tell he takes pride in his business, and he should!

A local man rented out rooms in his house and called it a 'hotel’ allowing guests to stay with him. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a cold and impatient attitude. The atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable. I would advise avoiding this place. You can open his fridge and pick up what you want to cook or eat.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Louie and his amazing property. The cleanliness was immaculate. The amenities impeccable. Bedding, towels, toiletries, snacks- all top level. The coolest coffee machine I’ve ever used. Excellent furnishings and an overall super comforting vibe. Louie is an extremely welcoming and helpful host. He was able to provide me with tips for my short stay in Akron that I know made a huge difference to my time there. I absolutely would stay here again and in fact am considering a future trip to Akron in part due to my experience here. Thanks Louie!

The host is very helpful with activities to do in the area. He has many amenities that are provided for our current needs with cleanliness and safety. The only issue worth mentioning is; If you can’t climb steps, this home is not accessible for a wheelchair. I highly recommend this house if you’re looking for quiet and comfortable accommodations.

The host was fantastic, and the house is amazing. We felt completely at home, and he anticipated our needs before we even had any! The home was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do over our weekend. Plus he gave us some great ideas for vegan places to eat and ideas for date nights. We are already planning another visit to try all the places he suggested that we didn't get a chance to try on this visit. We were anxious about staying in someone's home, but it was actually so much better than a hotel. This will be our go to place to stay whenever we visit Akron in the future!

I would choose to stay here again if we're coming through Akron. Our host was very friendly, and made a great effort to show us around the place. We spent some time chatting with him about Akron and the neighborhood, and he gave us a great recommendation for dinner right around the corner. Plus, there's an old fashioned Ice Cream Parlor right there by the restaurant, always a win in my book! One of the things I liked most is that here is a guy making a living running a small business, and clearly taking care of his property and his customers, and promoting the great things about his city. We need more people like him, people who don't bail out to the suburbs, or who are part of national conglomerates that take your money out of the local economy. He is part of the revitalization of Akron, doing what needs to be done like in any city in America. I'm happy we got to spend a night in his charming and personable B&B. Thanks!

Centrally located, it's the perfect base for exploring local events, cultural spots, and everything Akron has to offer. I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast where there was not a full breakfast prepared by the host. Breakfast was granola bars, boiled eggs and instant oatmeal you prepared yourself. There was an additional charge for coffee or other drinks. The host was very friendly then suddenly reacted in an irritated or grumpy manner. The house was very well kept, and the facilities were extremely clean. We were unaware of an additional fee if we stayed after 11AM, and we lost track of time while getting ready to leave. Although it was 11:23 when we actually got out, we were not charged the additional amount and appreciated that.

I would choose to stay here again if we're coming through Akron. Our host was very friendly, and made a great effort to show us around the place. We spent some time chatting with him about Akron and the neighborhood, and he gave us a great recommendation for dinner right around the corner. Plus, there's an old fashioned Ice Cream Parlor right there by the restaurant, always a win in my book! One of the things I liked most is that here is a guy making a living running a small business, and clearly taking care of his property and his customers, and promoting the great things about his city. We need more people like him, people who don't bail out to the suburbs, or who are part of national conglomerates that take your money out of the local economy. He is part of the revitalization of Akron, doing what needs to be done like in any city in America. I'm happy we got to spend a night in his charming and personable B&B. Thanks!

It was a great stay. Louie is a great host and a great person and he runs a nice bed and breakfast. Everything is clean and organized. The only downside is that we are cyclers and it is about 2 miles off the trail, and mostly uphill.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Louie and his amazing property. The cleanliness was immaculate. The amenities impeccable. Bedding, towels, toiletries, snacks- all top level. The coolest coffee machine I’ve ever used. Excellent furnishings and an overall super comforting vibe. Louie is an extremely welcoming and helpful host. He was able to provide me with tips for my short stay in Akron that I know made a huge difference to my time there. The description of the B&B did not mention that the 3 rooms available would be sharing the 1 bathroom. The bathroom room was very nice though, and provided everything needed; shampoo, body soap, conditioner and towels. The bedroom was well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was a little disappointing, I was expecting a hot breakfast from the host but instead I was shown the items in the kitchen that were available to guests and how to operate the hot water for instant oatmeal or coffee and tea. I had no complaints, it just wasn’t what I expected from my experience in other B&Bs.
