Horrible hotel and horrible area! Hotel was dirty, staff very unfriendly, walls paper thin in the room could hear everything and not a safe area. Hotel has no cameras on the property and the area is very unsafe. Our rental car was broken into and all 4 tires stolen. On the same night, 4 other cars were broken into as well. Emailed and called the general manager and never heard from him. Would never stay here again and would advise anyone thinking of staying here DON’T!!!!!!

This was a great location for my needs in the proximity to get to things. The area is strange in that it seems a little dangerous a few blocks away and then really nice in another couple miles. That is Houston for you. Property was well maintained and felt very new. Gym looked better than most hotels and the pool was nice as well.

I like the property could tell it was fairly new and it was pretty quiet love the amenities checking in was easy no issues. Only part was construction 🚧 going on across the way and they took most of the parking in the mornings but nothing to major. It’s understandable would definitely recommend. (Oh beds were sooooooo comfortable)

There were NO luggage carts available. If you've got a 120 room hotel that's unacceptable. The roots on the trees in the landscaping were showing so you can see the neglect. Stains on the carpeting.

I wouldn’t stay here again. Reasons for that are the following: -fridge had food stains from previous guests -couch had stains from whoever stayed there -first night of the stay our car got broken into. I want to go a little into detail with this last point. I get that everyone parks on that property at their own risk, but how come there’s cameras and security on the property and somehow magically no one notices how a car is getting broken into. We had to wait days until the General Manager would show up, who was not helpful at all with providing footage to us or the police. As a guest I didn’t feel safe, nor respected in a vulnerable situation like this. Especially as a young woman staying my partner who is a person of colour I didn’t feel like the manager treated us with dignity and respect. Additionally you could hear the guests in the other rooms being loud during night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. You’d be better off somewhere else.

As we walked in a well dressed entitled front desk employee tall black guy with glasses, not friendly or helpful at all just had us check in and we had to find our way around finding the elevator and to room no direction. The night employee Chandra very nice lady and helpful and was doing a good job on checking-in new customers, however had her friends or family hang out around the check-in area a lot, There should be professional standards expectations and decorum . Employees must wear name tags dress well and be presentable. I guess management is sleeping. Hotel location is very central, hotel is nice, clean and looks good. Bed in the box had blanket missing but was able to get 2 upon request. Rooms are nice and clean and very comfortable, but the sofa to bed was not in the best shape and its mattress was dirty. Pillows were absolutely worthless and old and left my and my wife’s neck hurting in the morning that’s one important reason I do not give this hotel better ratings . Breakfast quality and assortment SAs at best average. Elevators were jumpy but smelly and 1made weird sounds. Gym set up was nice. If they invest in better quality pillows I will stay with them again. Price was fair. Once again staff at the front desk must be held to better and higher standards.

They have top notch staff. The employees are really great. When I arrived, I noticed it had a stench to it, but bearable. I was going to move rooms but my co-worker staying there on the other side of the hotel had the same problem. My plates were dirty with what looked like pizza cheese residue. The ice bucket lid also had this same mystery orange cheesy looking goo. After that I didn't take my shoes off or touch anything. The sheets were clean so I rolled the comforter back. That's just a me thing. It looked clean. The bathroom was nice nothing worth noting. I will say in most hotels I find hair in the corner of the door frame and it was here too. There was something unidentifiable on the floor so I kept my shoes on. The floor was sticky. I'm definitely no expert but it seemed to me they had water damage as they are in Houston. Breakfast is simple. They have oatmeal, muffins, fruit, coffee and a couple of other basic breakfast items. I have stayed here probably 10 times and this is the first time I have experienced something like this. I have given other higher reviews for this hotel, but this last stay may bump me down the road.

Everything was great but when we needed extra towels we dialed the front office but no one answered the phone so we had to go to the front desk and ask. Also there was a roach in the kitchen area so we weren’t comfortable using the dishes.

My room bathroom was dirty. There were dirty towels/washcloths right beside the tub. The blanket on the bed was stained with makeup. While the staff was nice and courteous, there were supposedly no other rooms to change to. Disappointing experience

We loved all room amenities, and breakfast was ok. We arrived for bkfst about 7:30am and they were out of a couple of things already The room was over all clean except for when i dropped my earrings and while I reached for it found a bunch of dirt and hair under headboard and head side of mattress, I couldn't help to notice that under bedside night stands was full of something very sticky and a bit gross on both sides and the corners had not been vacuumed in a long time.. lots of dust and hairs in corner

The hotel is new, which is a plus. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I had a great experience at check-in thanks to the friendly and helpful lady at the front desk. Unfortunately, the other desk attendants didn’t seem as welcoming—they were just going through the motions. As for breakfast, the turkey sausage links were tough, and the waffle mix kept separating, which made the waffles taste off. Overall, I felt the price I paid wasn’t quite justified given the location.

Comfortable room, lots of space, clean with a nice comfortable bed and full sized refrigerator and small kitchen. I stayed a week. Hotel has a decent workout room. Breakfast is basic but fills a need. No restaurant on site. Area is okay.

The lady at the counter was very rude to us. I'm a Hilton Honors member so I should get early check in for free but even though I called in the morning and was told the room will be ready around 1-1:30pm, when we showed up at 2:30pm, she said that we need to wait. Also, I left my son's belt in the closet in the room. After calling the hotel multiple times and talking to the manager, he finally called me after 2 days to tell me they didn't have it.

Very clean. Nice to have a refrigerator and freezer. Vinny at the front desk was super nice and made us feel welcomed. Kera who is the kitchen cook is GREAT! Always smiling and always making sure customers are well taken care of. We were on the first floor and unfortunately we could hear people running above us but that wasn't bad. I would definitely stay here again. Lots of restaurants on Westheimer and shopping not far if you want to shop. Quiet area and felt very safe as well. Thanks for a great stay!

We checked in at 3pm, no issues and desk staff was very friendly and engaging. Room is nicely appointed, lots of charging outlets and the breakfast was quite good for a hotel that does not have a fulltime kitchen.

Will never stay at this Home2 hotel again. My room type with two queen beds was not available when I checked in even though I prepaid days in advance already. I accepted a room with one king bed but the AC did not work in the room with a temp of 89 degrees. I was told I could use a fan but I declined. Then I was told they had no more room and I had to go to another hotel across the street. I suggested that they should change their practice and not oversell their rooms in the future. The staff was very rude and yelled at me for recommending that and told me it was my fault for checking in late at 9 pm, told me to get out and she would not issue me a refund. I would have given this hotel a zero star if there is such an option because that is what it deserves.

Had a great stay! Me and my wife stay here everytime we visit houston. Im a fan of the location being close to quick eats and 15 to 20 mins from the galleria mall.Only critique is that no one is attending the desk late night which makes getting help a hassle.

The hotel was recently built so still new and clean. The suite was roomy and plenty of parking which is free. Hotel is next to a newly built park; so it’s good for small children. It’s less than 2 miles from the Asian/Chinatown business area which is convenient for our purposes. Definitely will stay here again next time in the area. Housekeeping is only on request which is not a problem for us

The location was amazing. We were less than 5 miles away from every place that we wanted to visit. There is also a cool little park across the parking lot from the hotel.

We always stay at a Home2Suites for the larger rooms and mini kitchen. The Westchase was in a quiet location. Breakfast could have been a little better as there some items that were not available every day; juice wasn’t working a couple of mornings, no bagels or muffins during most of our stay. I’m not sure if I need to request a non-smoking floor but the smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke was very strong in the hallways. Thankfully our room had no odor. Overall a good stay. However, we’ve had better stays at other Home2Suites.
