This property is in great shape. We enjoyed the central location making it easy to walk to all the sites we planned to see. They also had an agreement with a glass blowing company on Murano which included transportation to and from the adjacent island. Staff was always helpful with dining tips. The courtyard bar is a hidden gem.

The Hotel Aquarius is in a great Venice area that is not as loud as the tourist zones but is still easily accessible from the train station without needing a water taxi. We tried using the fitness center, but it lacks much equipment. We took advantage of the hotel’s great location and just did more walking. The breakfast was very nice too, and the decor is chic and gorgeous.

Great location just far away enough from the maddening crowd. The front desk staff arranged for outside laundry service, made excellent dining recommendations and arranged water taxi tours. Beautiful artwork throughout and the courtyard bar had a great vibe. The hotel is located on a quiet plaza where you can watch local life. Great beds and linens. I found the breakfasts just OK with self service automated coffee service, but not a big deal.

Very nice hotel, good location. We had an apartment, lots of room in kitchen area, but no sitting area. Was on the first floor, facing an alley. Had to keep curtains closed.

Loved our stay, suite was very clean & walking distance from everything! We even got to see ppl ball room dancing right outside in the courtyard! Plus storing luggage was great service offered! Wonderful time, would definitely come back! Thank you!!

We stayed at their medium 2 bedroom apartment. Newer feel of the apartment. Clean. There is a great bar with great outdoor seating. If you like a quiet and peaceful area in Venice, this is the best option. Not that far from the train station. We hired a porter for our luggages. 10 to 15 mins walk from the train station.

Grundsätzlich war das Hotel super, die Lage ist perfekt. Man hat direkt gegenüber einen Supermarkt und nette Cafes und einige Restaurants. Wir hatten das Doppelzimmer Apartment, was mit der Küche und den 2 Zimmern und 2 Bädern super praktisch war. Die Sauberkeit war okay, allerdings muss ich sagen, für ein 4 Sterne Hotel hat man in den Ecken schon bisschen besser putzen können. Ansonsten im Großen und Ganzen würde ich es schon weiterempfehlen.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made a big difference and added to the experience. The room itself was decent and clean. While it wasn’t spotless, it was definitely clean enough and comfortable for our stay. A solid option if you’re looking for a welcoming place in Venice.

Pasamos una noche en el hotel, y pudimos disfrutar del bar en el patio, y sobretodo de las áreas comunes de gran lujo, donde se sirve un desayuno delicioso. Nuestra habitación tenía vista al campo, poseía una dimensión justa, un baño impecable y moderno y la cama confortable. Volveremos seguramente.

Looked nice but there were a lot of small things that made it uncomfortable. No control of the air conditioning, but also no screens in the window. When we opened the window at night, mosquitos got in. The pillows were uncomfortable and the shower leaked. But, the breakfast was good, the location was central and in a nice little neighborhood.

Vi hadde et fantastisk fint opphold på Hotel Aquarius. Særdeles god service og vennlige ansatte fra vi kom til vi dro. Meget rent og pent, både på rommet/badet og hotellet ellers. Hotellet ligger sentralt til med gåavstand til både severdigheter og taxibåter. Vi kommer til å dra tilbake til dette hotellet. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Beautiful property, great location a bit on the quieter side with a mix of locals and tourists. Plenty of cafes, restaurants nearby . Also a grocery store nearby to grab some essentials. The reason I gave it 4 stars is my room had no window 😩🙊. I was there only for 2 nights and was too exhausted to complaint about it.

The lady at the reception was were very helpful in getting us info on how to get to the hotel Overall great team. The rooms don’t have eye level windows which can make it a bit claustrophobic

Reasonable hotel with a few flaws. The family apartment rooms are good for a family of four but there are some issues. The air conditioning (for cold air) only works in the summer. In the winter it’s used for heating. So even in Feb it was quite stuffy in the rooms and we had to open the window for cold air. Unfortunately local noises kept waking us up. Also neither of the TV worked nor the safe (bad instructions) and also the lights in the bathroom went out when you plugged a hairdryer in.

This is a wonderful hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast was good with a great range of food. The location is excellent with good restaurants within seconds of the hotel and the room was very quiet to outside noise. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others however I would not stay in room 101 again. It is located very close to reception so you can hear check in/check out noise and phones ringing. It is also located below the breakfast/events room so prone to a lot of foot steps above and chair scraping/tables moving. If you pick another room you are in for a perfect stay.

We were given the room right behind the service desk on the first floor. There was a party going on in the courtyard and we could hear a lot of noise. We were too tired at that point to get up and say anything. Overall, it was a nice place other than the constant noise that night coming from within the hotel.

Comfy stay and lovely hotel with nice courtyard. Also well located for a great restaurant that was recommended to us several times (La Zucca) - literally a couple of minutes away. Breakfast buffet was great. Only downside was that we didn't receive our complementary beverages as suggested (I queried at checkout and it seemed like it had been done but when I saw the receipt on email, it hadn't. They didn't respond to my pointing this out and so feel a bit cheated out of that). No room upgrade either though we didn't ask - but no Expedia Benefits mentioned.

Property itself is nice for Venice. Expensive compared to most cities for what you get but is expected for the location. My biggest issues were regarding the staff and service. Our train was delayed and arrived late. The front desk person was very cold and rude. I asked if I could purchase a bottle of water somewhere and he just said no. You don’t have a way for a guest to get a bottle of water after a long day traveling? On our way home we got a water taxi because it was raining. I asked multiple times to make sure they take card because I didn’t have much cash on me. Of course the water taxi guy says his card machine doesn’t work when we get to the station. Property itself is nice for Venice. Expensive compared to most cities for what you get but is expected for the location. My biggest issues were regarding the staff and service. Our train was delayed and arrived late. The front desk person was very cold and rude. I asked if I could purchase a bottle of water somewhere and he just said no. You don’t have a way for a guest to get a bottle of water after a long day traveling? On our way home we got a water taxi because it was raining. I asked multiple times to make sure they take card because I didn’t have much cash on me. Of course the water taxi guy says his card machine doesn’t work when we get to the station. Venice is a beautiful place but just be prepared to get scammed anywhere you go.

Front desk staff, specifically, the females were cold and inhospitable. The rest of the service staff (cleaning/breakfast room) were all kind and gracious. But the front desk staff did little in terms of guest services or help and provided none of the VIP benefits expected and graciously given elsewhere.

The staff was very accommodating when we arrived early and also with one extra person in our group. They gave us a room with 2 beds to accommodate the extra person for no additional charge. They also helped with directions to various places and arranged a water taxi when we left.

Not much around the property. You have to walk 15 minutes to get to the train station and 30 minutes to get to San Marcos. You have the option to take a taxi but it’s not efficient and can get expensive. It will probably take you longer to get where you want to go.

Very clean, elegant, and modern hotel with excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend to others. Be prepared to walk 15-20 min to the tourist sites from the hotel, but it’s in a lovely area of the city, away from noise and crowds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aquarius while in Venice! Location was perfect - quiet and tucked away from the large groups, a 10 minute walk from the Venice train station, a 20 minute walk to St. Marks Square, and right across from a small grocery store! The morning breakfast buffet to start our day was wonderful. Rooms and common areas were clean and modern. Only downside was that the AC was turned off for the entire building during our stay, so it did get a bit warm in the rooms at times. Staff were more than helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing hotel, you basically pay for what you pay for. The morning breakfast was amazing, the room was clean and well decorated with murano glass figures. The location just a walk from one of the stops of water bus. The plaza where is located had some good places to eat. The staff recommended Taverna Capitan Uncino, the food was amazing, decently priced, and service was great.

Great location just far away enough from the maddening crowd. The front desk staff arranged for outside laundry service, made excellent dining recommendations and arranged water taxi tours. Beautiful artwork throughout and the courtyard bar had a great vibe. The hotel is located on a quiet plaza where you can watch local life. Great beds and linens. I found the breakfasts just OK with self service automated coffee service, but not a big deal.

Very clean and hip place. I couldn’t sleep from jet lag had a salted caramel cappuccino at 4:00 am at the bar, the best cappuccino I’ve ever had, even the google recommended cafes didn’t come close.

I travel the world. This is one of the nicest, most modern hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast. I paid for breakfast, and it was complete trash. I went without it.

The hotel is beautiful and is really close from Venice Santa Lucia train station and is located in a beautiful piazza with nice little restaurants that offer great food and is close enough from the main sites of venice but also away from the buzz and noice of the tourist . The rooms are beautifully decorated as well as the ret of the hotel and they are super comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel. There isn't a single thing I wouldn't rate a 10 out of ten. Close to train station and many beautiful churches and monuments, but set back from noise and traffic. Excellent restaurants right outside the on beautiful square with benches and trees. Even a grocery store about 50 steps from hotel door. I'm fairly well traveled and this was one of the best places I've stayed and I've paid sometimes 600 or 700 a night. Highly recommend. I'm going back

What is important close to small canals so you carry luggage from water taxi less than 100 meters, as there are no cars in Venice. Good breakfast, there is a small food supermarket selling food, water, wines on the same square as hotel less than 100m. Rialto Bridge 10 min walk, St Mark square 15 min walk.
