Location was OK - about 15 minutes walk from Marina area All the staff were engaged, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was OK. In addition to buffet, Coffee, juice and egg dishes served at table was good. No kettle in room and although there is a pool in the basement, use of it requires a Spa pass at a cost of €50 per person for 90 minutes. Prestige room was good. Sooo many towels and changed twice a day!. But all these rooms face the courtyard and Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun nights were too noisy to sleep before midnight / 1am.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed. Alt er super med få undtagelser. Noget støj fra det interne gårdmiljø med flere restauranter med udendørs betjening må påregnes. SPA afdelingen er helt enkelt for dyr. €50 pr. person for 90 minutters adgang uden behandlinger. Det er for, især når man kan få et indtryk af at der faktisk er en indendørs pool tilgængelig på hotellet.

A very nice hotel, looks very new, perfect location to explore Cagliari or the wider area. It has a parking garage (a bit pricey at €20/night). Also a spa with small pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a large gym. On the square there are several very good restaurants. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly, professional and helpful. On new years day they even gave guests a free (and very nice) panettone, delivered to the room with a note. Not the cheapest hotel but worth the money. Very pleasant stay.

Great Prestige Room, great location, one of the best restaurant of Cagliari in the hotel. super service. when you sleep with open doors you hear loud talking from the bars until 1.30h by night. if you close doors it is fine. Location is excellent, by food you can discover the city quit good. Parking is close by and decent pricing with 10€ per day.

Whilst there were many positives about this hotel, there are also areas that require improvement. Let’s start with the positives. 1. The lobby, bar & restaurant are aesthetically pleasing and create a warm, cosy feeling about the place. 2. The courtyard with its immense options of restaurants and shops is a definite bonus and there is always a buzz about the place - especially in the evenings. The pizza restaurant is by far the best of the food options available. 3. The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. 4. The location of the hotel was also quite good, with most attractions a walking distance. Now the cons 1. The service at breakfast & food available. I was shocked at the quality of food: it was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel. The hot option was minimal with only eggs, bacon & mushrooms. There were only 2 cuts of charcuterie meats & the cheese on display was sweaty. Once the bread in the tray had finished, there was no replenishment. As for the continental, it was all pastries & cakes. There was a good range of fruit but not fresh, some of the strawberries were off. Overall, the service was poor with the restaurant staff confusing customer’s coffee orders. 2. The cleanliness of the rooms. There was a lot of dust & although the tiled floors were hoovered, they weren’t mopped so our socks were dirty. Although when this was pointed out, the staff were quick to respond and address it. It was an ok hotel but personally, I wouldn’t return

The Palazzo Doglio is a very elegant hotel situated within a modern plaza complex. This grand building has been renovated to a very high standard including at least four restaurants all offering Al fresco dining. It was a little haven to return to after a hot day of sightseeing around Cagliari. The staff were really friendly, readily providing information about the city and beautiful beaches of Sardinia. The rooms were clean, quiet and the balconies running round the hotel were a great space to relax and watch the bustle of the plaza from.

Everything was good we paid for the upgraded room and it was nice with balcony. Just be aware in the weekend the middle court yard has nice music that you can hear in your room till about 11:30 pm

The hotel looks amazing but we did not sleep well because of noise from furniture being moved above. Early hours of the morning constant moving. When asked to be moved the hotel was apparently full so we had to endure the random noises for another 2 nights. The location is great and a lovely set up with the forecourt too. Perhaps a little too much style over substance.

Il soggiorno e' stato al di sotto delle nostre aspettative. Il primo giorno abbiamo fatto notare che l'aria condizionata non funzionava. Non e' stato possibile ripararla ed abbiamo dormito con 27 gradi in camera. Il giorno successivo ci e' stata cambiata la stanza. La colazione richiederebbe pure maggiore attenzione al dettaglio e offerta di prodotti locali. Ci e' capitato di trovare uno yogurt scaduto da cinque giorni.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Doglio. The service was excellent and everything was so smooth. You felt so welcomed and was well taken care of from the moment you stepped in until you left. It was all about the small details, like remembering what coffee you prefer. Concierge services were great, getting help with beach club reservations, dinner recommendations and wine tastings - Nicola did a great job (thank you!). Rooms were very clean and spacious and you were always greeted with a smile and hearty "buongiorno". The American bar alongside the variety in dining opportunities at the complex made it also very relaxing. If you want to explore the surrounding beaches at daytime by car and then stay at a luxurious hotel at night with many great restaurants in the city, this is the stay for you.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. Booking sites list the property as offering 24-hour room service, and the in-room QR code menu clearly suggests that food can be ordered at any time. However, when I attempted to order food at around 11:30 pm on 2nd October, I was informed that only drinks were available. When I raised this with a manager, he was dismissive rather than helpful. Eventually, they agreed to send a club sandwich with fries, but when the food arrived it was cold. For a property that positions itself as a high-end luxury hotel, the service levels and staff attitude fell well below expectations. At the very least, the hotel should ensure that its advertised services accurately reflect what guests can actually expect during their stay .

Meget bra hotell og service. Eneste var at de kjente ikke til at skulle være noe ekstra i forbindelse med Hotels.com VIP eller noe gave… Hotellets gourmet restaurant nådde ikke mål. Hummeren var i hel kokt og bisque smakte ingenting. Min sønn hadde indrefilet som var god bortsett fra at pommes frites var rå inni. Ellers var det et meget fint opphold med flere restauranter og spesielt en pizzarestaurant i bakgården.
