Cambria hotel in Richardson was very clean, modern, convenient to restaurants, staff was amazing and very friendly. Only downside for us was that we booked a hotel with an indoor pool for swimming, but the pool did not seem heated. Other than that our stay was great! Would recommend!

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The room was very nice. The walls are a bit thin. Enjoyed the pool. The staff were professional and friendly. Krystal checked us in. She did a great job. I would recommend it to friends and family.

The parking is terrible! I had to park really far from the hotel because it shares parking space with some apartments. I vented my frustration regarding the parking and the lady that works nights blew my concerns off and basically told me too bad that I had to park far away. Maybe y’all should include when someone is booking that parking is a pain.

Everything was great the main thing is the bed it’s sooooo comfortable we slept like babies! The only thing we don’t like is there’s hardly anywhere to park but other than that we had a great stay smelled fabulous was very clean will definitely be back!

The check-in staff was really nice, however the bathroom was not clean. There were stains on the bathroom faucet as if water wasn’t wiped off and there’s feces stain on the toilet. Makes us feel like the room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly.

We’ve stayed here once before and had a good experience. This time there was a sewage smell coming out of the shower drain that made the whole room smell if the bathroom door wasn’t shut. We had to put a wet towel over the drain and keep the ac on to blow the smell away. I asked the woman at the front desk if we could switch rooms and she said they were actually overbooked so that wasn’t an option. She said she would sent housekeeping over to check it out and they never came. We will most likely look at other options in the area for our next visit.

Our sheets and comforter had blood on them when we got there and had to ask for new room. The main issue was our entire floor smelt like weed the entire stay. There was a group of people outside on the patio smoking weed and arguing til early hours in the morning. Non stop running up and down the halls and just extremely noisy when trying to sleep.

This is a super nice place to stay. I am very picky and this is one of the most well kept hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The excellent housekeeping staff keeps the entire hotel inside and out very clean and orderly. They are always cleaning windows, floors, etc. We stayed there several days and we just enjoyed staying in the lobby bc it was so well maintained, as were all the other areas in this hotel, including very nice outdoor grounds/landscaping. Great location with lots of places to eat and a beautiful nature area nearby. Nice helpful staff. (Shoutout especially to Joanne😊). I recommend this place! Hope the present staff stays on👍

The Cambria was an obvious choice for us due to the location. There are many good food options nearby, as well as easy navigation. The hotel is newer and has nice rooms. Overall, well-appointed and pretty clean rooms with a comfortable temperature and bed. The service staff were super friendly and we loved "stealing" cookies at Happy Hour. 😊 Now for the not so good, the floors are shifting and buckling, so the lovely sliding doors (bathroom & closets) don't slide! We gave up on the closet. The glass bathroom door was wearing a groove in the tile in our 2nd floor room. It was very difficult to open and close. We had family visiting our room, and it was kinda awkward to watch them struggle with the door, then hear everything going on in there. Sometimes we just went down to the lobby restrooms for ease. Why can't hotels just use doors? The room is certainly large enough. I had to clean a full on oily arm print in the glass as it was less opaque right in the middle of the frosted bathroom door when we arrived. Lastly, if I go again, I would request a top floor room as every step above us sounded like thunder or cow stampede, and caused loud popping of doors & walls in our room at all times of the night & day (all 3 nights). I want to love it, fix the doors 😀

My room was clean and pretty comfortable. The challenge was with the lighting. Most of the lights in my room did not work. It was disappointing, considering the price. I would expected a hotel of this caliber would tend to their maintenance more efficiently.

The room was very nice and clean. But the WiFi didn’t work most of the time I was there for three days. And their TVs are dated, they are not smart TVs. You can’t connect to apps or cast to them. Valentina was very nice and helpful. Regional manager, not so much

Loved the lemon water and cookies. Room was nice with comfortable beds and pillows. I wasn’t crazy about the sliding frosted door into the bathroom and I didn’t like the shower not having a door. I liked not having carpet. Multiple restaurants within walking distance is great.

Service is horrible. They overbook and if you arrive in the evening you won't get what you actually book. I had booked the king suite and when i got there the guy told me that in their system it had said it was a reg king. He said that it was all that was available cause they were fully booked. I called Hotels dot com and they said they talked to the hotel and they gave my room to someone else due to overbooking. Hotels dot come gave me other hotel options but the other hotel didnt accept the rewards. I didnt want any other hotel. I had picked cambria for sentimental reasons. Hotels dot come tried to offer me only $50 back for my booking. We settled for $75 but not the point. It was a special night and i didn't get the room i reserved. Talked to the peron in the morning about it and basically told there is nothing they could do now and that the manager wasnt there and that i wasn't going to be able to do anything about it basically. When i asked for corporate phoen number she told me she doesnt know it and that i can google it myself.

My experience at Cambria Richardson was terrible. Before I even arrived on Friday, I was already charged for my stay. Then, because I checked in late, they charged me again without my authorization, on top of holding two deposits. When I asked about it, the staff showed no concern and told me I would have to wait until checkout for the authorization hold to be released. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and the manager was condescending and unapologetic. At check-in, I was told my card would only be used for the deposit, but later learned that wasn’t true. The lack of transparency, professionalism, and courtesy from the staff was shocking. I do not recommend this hotel. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

Property was clean, the BIG PROBLEM was that they cancelled one of our reservations without telling us. We had 3 rooms reserved and we were able to check in two rooms, not the 3rd one. The front desk stupid lady only said we are overbooked and we don’t have the 3rd room, no emails, messages or phone call was made to us. And what the frick do they expect us to do at midnight with kids in the car and no place to sleep, when the reservations were made and paid for. THAT IS NONHUMAN AND VERY IRRESPONSIBLE FROM THE HOTEL.

Let me first say my trip to Dallas started off rocky with flight delays and my rental car place running out of cars, not getting to the hotel until 1:30am and needing to be at my conference for 8am...so having great hotel stay really helped to turn my trip around. The Cambria Hotel staff was great! Ms.Tachon was the sweetest! She was so nice to me and attentive while I sat at bar eating after a long day. She gave me the perfect balance of attention, space and great customer service. Then I woke up the next morning for breakfast and Mr. Lawrence was pleasant, friendly, and he also had great customer service. Both Tachon and Lawrence left me with such a good impression of the hotel, that I plan on staying there again next year for my conference. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and the rest of the staff was pleasant as well.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights,and when I came back home I found that my card was overcharged, I called the front desk and they responded that it was only charged once, but my card showed two different charges , and they said I could call the bank to dispute it, I also left a voicemail for their manager, and never got a response, I called hotel again the next day and got the same answer, finally I called my bank and got the money back , it was really frustrating and disappointing.

So happy we stayed here when we were in Richardson for a wedding. We went ahead and book the premium suite and it was great. So spacious I love that the hotel was recently. I would upgrade to the bigger space if you are thinking about it. It’s right next-door to a really good coffee shop and you can get breakfast for 6.99 in the morning. I’ll be checking out more Cambria properties.
