Rented 2 rooms for 2 days in my own hometown for a fun getaway with my grandkids. The Pool was SO cold my grandsons lips turned blue! Beautiful facility and great service but my personal stay was ruined due yo the freezing pool .

We checked in for a one day stay, we were coming in early to do some shopping before my kids appointment. My little one got sick on the way in, the staff had our room ready and was more than happy to let us check in early. They allowed me to use things to clean the car seat. The pool was warm and the kids loved it. Will definitely be staying here again if we have to come for another appointment.

In a pinch with our power going out. It was perfect, very accommodating and respectful staff. It was nice they had a pool and was willing to help us with a late checkout and also making sure we were taken care of when we had to book another night.

We had some issues with the room the first night. The window blinds were not functioning They offered us the only other accessible room they had available and that one had a bad smell, and the blinds were not working in that room either. So we were switched back to the original room. The did send maintenance to check on the blinds the next morning, but they were not able to fix them. We also noticed the next day that the bath towels in our room were very ragged and seemed old. They did bring us replacement towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but it just seemed a little unkept especially considering the hotel is relatively new. The beds were super comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was good.

We were originally assigned a room that had been only partially cleaned, with sheets that had not been changed. We were reassigned a new room without hesitation, which was appreciated, but the fact that the original bed had not received clean linens (but had been made as if it did) raises many concerns about the standard of cleanliness in the hotel.

The bathroom was clean. The toilet seat was up and had hair in it, and the bowl clearly had not been scrubbed. The shower was either dirty or stained, but given the condition of the door tracks (rust, soap and hair), I'm going with dirty. The linens seemed clean, the bed was comfortable. But, for a new property, it's not being maintained well.

I arrived on site for a State Conference. Check in went well. I checked in arond 530pm monday 12-8-25. I changed clothes and went to get something to eat. I returned my room for the night. I unpacked some clothes and I saw the desk was dirty. It made me think to check the fridge. The fridge was full of food. I look at the bed. I look around and it looks like the room was not even cleaned.

The room was dirty! We had to empty all our trash cans and the bathroom floor was so dirty that i had to use towels and hand wash it before we could walk. There were pubic hairs and pee on the toilet bowl under the seat.

The property was very clean as was our room, the staff was super friendly and the location was really good due to its proximity to the many restaurants, shopping and the highway. Our room was large and clean, with a large window to look out. But there were two exposed wires towards the top of the blinds. And the blinds did not work. We asked for a different room and got another room with the same problem. This time we just rolled it up by hand and balanced it atop the window. We had breakfast at the hotel three times and the third time we left and went to a restaurant. All three times the biscuits were impossible to cut through. The pancake maker didn’t work and the orange juice was watered down. I would definitely rather have clean rooms, a friendly staff and a bad breakfast than the other way around - but just found it a bit disappointing.

Loud as hell. People letting their kids run around the hallways, up and down the stairwell, slam doors, and scream. The room above us sounded like a heard of elephants where having a stamped up there. Trying to sleep was about impossible. If you want to rest and relax I advise you go somewhere else.

This was by far the best Holiday Inn Express Brighton that we have ever stayed at. There was nothing wrong with this property. The walls were thick, you couldn’t hear the people in the room next to you, the room was spacious, bed and pillows comfortable.. plenty of lighting. The bathroom had plenty of towels and spacious, love that it had a walk in shower, wish they all did.

Pros: Safe and convenient location. Close to lots of dining options and shopping. Friendly staff. Cons: For those that need white noise to sleep, wasn't able to keep ac unit fan running overnight. Could hear people outside and in the hallways after "quiet hours". Refrigerator in room not very cold (was set to coldest setting).

Overall had a great experience. The desk chair in our room was missing a wheel. One of us fell off the chair ( we were not hurt) I called down to the front desk and was told there were no replacement chairs, but if I wanted one from the lobby that I was more than welcome to come down and get one. I asked if they could have someone bring it up. Desk person said no that he was alone and had to stay at the desk.

Booked room through Expedia 2 weeks in advance. Got to the hotel to check in and were told they received the reservation from Expedia but did not have a room for us. Never bothered to contact us to let us know ahead of time, never offered to help us find another place to stay nor gave any reasonable explanation on how this happened. We were left in an unfamiliar area late in the evening with no place to stay. Terrible experience!!

I checked in well after the check-in time and they did not have my room type available. They downgraded my room type and did not offer any type of compensation (I did ask and was told there was nothing they could do). Then in the morning, I went down for breakfast at 8am and they were out of eggs, sausage and biscuits and we were told it would be 15-20 minutes before they would have more. Very disappointing stay

I’ve stayed at this property multiple times and the room is always clean and comfortable. I wish the people letting their kids and dogs run up and down the hallway until 11:00 weren’t my neighbors though! There was no hot breakfast because the equipment was broken. They did have other food available.
