This is a quaint, convenient, economical, and very clean option for those visitors who want to or need to be in Queens. It's nice that they have breakfast and also convenient that they have a shuttle so you don't have to worry about expensive ride-share apps or finding a taxi. The staff was very accommodating. They allowed me to book the airport shuttle for a convenient time for my flight. I also loved the pretty lights on the building at night. I would definitely stay again.

I walked in and the receptionist was cold and unfriendly. Mechanical. I was less than impressed and also being offered a bottle of wine for being VIP when I am sober for 3 years, didn’t even think to ask me if the gift was ok!!!! The rooms were very clean. Was very impressed..would stay here again.. Downfall there is no onsite parking but we were lucky enough to get street parking a few feet away from hotel.

Clean and affordable room. Location was near public transportation and reliable overnight parking. No working USB port in the room. Had to ask for my free bottle of wine at checkout. Overall, nice spot, would come back.

I love everything about LIC Plaza, from the location across the street from my office and the price, to the clean, large rooms, the kind staff and THE VIEWS of Manhattan… but if I stay longer than 1 night… I’m a complete wreck. Why? The beds are solid as concrete and the overstuffed pillows look pretty on the bed, but aren’t usable by a human. I’ve taken my own pillow which helped, but my last stay of 4 nights sleeping on the HARD bed was just too much. I can’t do it again. Also, last month (Feb) I had recommended the hotel to my manager and her husband. That went sideways when someone below their room or next door was smoking in their non-smoking room… and my manager’s room smelled like an ash tray. When they brought it to the attention of management, they were told there was nothing that could be done. That really saddened me. I’ll be staying at the Hilton around the corner this week. Probably not a great view, but comfort and a smoke free environment are just too important.

The staff were very friendly, and the hotel’s proximity to the subway station at Queensborough Station made it super convenient to get into the city. We did two baseball games at both stadiums and had no problem getting to either one. Breakfast was about what you would get at a Hampton Inn. BUT, the bed was the hardest thing on which we have ever slept. It was extremely uncomfortable. WiFi was almost non-existent. It was better to just use my hotspot from my phone. Onei or thing was that the coffee maker in the room was dirty, so we didn’t use it. I wish I could leave a better review because everyone was so nice, and it was a perfect location.

I have stayed at the LIC Plaza Hotel a couple of times. It is a great location near restaurants, bars, grocery stores and quick access to the subway. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was firm. I liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave. The staff was nice and helpful.

I booked this because it was close to Manhattan, on the subway line that went out to the US Open, and less expensive than the other options. I expected it to have issues. But I was surprised that it really didn't. The room was spacious for NYC standards. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The bathroom had a full door that closed (not a sliding door) and an exhaust fan inside. At times could her voices in adjacent rooms but was not an issue. Everything was more modern than I expected. The tv worked well too. Hotel staff was friendly, located close to several subway lines, and free breakfast. Much more affordable option than Manhattan and only minutes away.

This hotel was perfect because is near to several subway stations, and is just a couple of stations away from Manhattan, the room was in good conditions and had a micro and mini fridge, which was very helpful during my stay. Definitely I will return to this place without a doubt! :)

Very clean and well maintained. Nice shower, towels and bath. Rooms were very small, not enough surface to lay open two carryons. Windows facing major road and train track, super loud and cars honking from early am. Room doors and stair doors slammed loudly, so a lot of banging noise. Neighborhood has nothing to offer a tourist except the convenience of close subway access.

Weekend fun trip to the city. The hotel was very close to Queensboro subway station which is why we picked it. I think it was about a 3 min walk. The room and bathroom was very clean. No complaints except the mattress was super firm. It wasn't comfortable but we were so tired it wasn't a huge problem. I would stay there again due to price and location. Breakfast was included in the price which was very nice and saved time and money. There were some places close by you could eat. We had a nice craft beer and tasty hamburger at the Huntress which was a short walk from the hotel. I will say 2 things. 1. There is a LIC hotel and a LIC plaza hotel. We got off the subway and walked to the LIC hotel which was about a 15 min walk only to realize we Google mapped the wrong LIC. The LIC PLAZA is just a few minutes from Queensboro station in foot. 2. The entrance to the LIC plaza really looks low rent...like a gas station entrance and not a nice hotel. Still, once inside we were happy with our room and the hotel and would definitely recommend it. I'd stay there again for sure

The hotel was good but unfortunatly refused to refund me for the taxes - although I am a diplomat exempt from hotel taxes. All other hotels in New York accept to refund taxes from diplomats so it was unfortunate.

The front desk folks were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. I called ahead to say my flight was delayed and that I’ll be arriving past midnight. They said no problem - the front desk is staffed 24/7. Housekeeping was so on top of things. They cleaned, made the bed, and replaced towels every single day. Lots of dining options as well. Would definitely stay here again!
The front desk folks were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. I called ahead to say my flight was delayed and that I’ll be arriving past midnight. They said no problem - the front desk is staffed 24/7. Housekeeping was so on top of things. They cleaned, made the bed, and replaced towels every single day. The receptionist was on the phone not talking for 10 minutes before helping us. She wanted to speak to my husband who made the reservation but was not staying. I called the hotel prior to check in and told there was parking. I had to park on the street which was sketchy. The receptionist told me there wasn’t parking when we arrived. The bed was hard as a rock. The noise in the hallway was loud and doors were slamming all morning.

Good stay, friendly service and a great breakfast! Location was very convenient for our needs (close to airports with subway to flushing and manhattan easily accessible). Location is quiet with up and coming neighborhood. Highly recommended!

I booked this because it was close to Manhattan, on the subway line that went out to the US Open, and less expensive than the other options. I expected it to have issues. But I was surprised that it really didn't. The room was spacious for NYC standards. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The bathroom had a full door that closed (not a sliding door) and an exhaust fan inside. At times could her voices in adjacent rooms but was not an issue. Everything was more modern than I expected. The tv worked well too. Hotel staff was friendly, located close to several subway lines, and free breakfast. Much more affordable option than Manhattan and only minutes away.

Very clean and well maintained. Nice shower, towels and bath. Rooms were very small, not enough surface to lay open two carryons. Windows facing major road and train track, super loud and cars honking from early am. Room doors and stair doors slammed loudly, so a lot of banging noise. Neighborhood has nothing to offer a tourist except the convenience of close subway access.

Very nice budget hotel with excellent access to Manhattan in a pretty safe area. Subway is 3 blocks away. Simple but ample breakfast is very handy to get started for the day. They kept refilling food till the end time which was very nice. The property seems to have been renovated so the rooms are updated and fresh (don't judge it from the sign board outside :)) Highly recommend for families.

I just stayed 2 nights but the stay was pleasant and the staff was attentive and courteous. The breakfast had pretty decent options as well. Its in relatively good proximity to some decent dining options as well as convenience stores as well as public transportation.

Such a funny hotel that upon arrival you will notice the industrial feel of the neighborhood but do not be concerned! There is so much to like about the hotel especially the value for money! The staff were very nice and our room was basic but very clean; the beds were firm and comfortable, WiFi was excellent, good TV options and a fridge & microwave. The bathroom was really good but the towels were like I was at a five star hotel!! The free breakfast was awesome with a really wide range of options from eggs, sausages, cereals, fruit, cold cuts & cheeses, bagels, etc. The limited choice of bars and restaurants maybe an issue for sone but we found a few decent places. I would 100% stay here again!

Weekend fun trip to the city. The hotel was very close to Queensboro subway station which is why we picked it. I think it was about a 3 min walk. The room and bathroom was very clean. No complaints except the mattress was super firm. It wasn't comfortable but we were so tired it wasn't a huge problem. I would stay there again due to price and location. Breakfast was included in the price which was very nice and saved time and money. There were some places close by you could eat. We had a nice craft beer and tasty hamburger at the Huntress which was a short walk from the hotel. I will say 2 things. 1. There is a LIC hotel and a LIC plaza hotel. We got off the subway and walked to the LIC hotel which was about a 15 min walk only to realize we Google mapped the wrong LIC. The LIC PLAZA is just a few minutes from Queensboro station in foot. 2. The entrance to the LIC plaza really looks low rent...like a gas station entrance and not a nice hotel. Still, once inside we were happy with our room and the hotel and would definitely recommend it. I'd stay there again for sure
