We liked this place a lot more after the first night. On checkin, the hotel seems a bit run down. The staff had stained shirts, the folio with the paperwork looked like it was 20 years old, the welcome drinks were not good. Fortunately, everything improved significantly from those first impressions. The rooms were comfortable, though the kids beds are about as hard as you could possibly make them. Literally like sleeping on a board. Fortunately our kids can sleep anywhere so it wasn't an issue. The AC was super strong and it took a few hours for the AC unit to remove the humidity in the room and moisture from the floors - so if they're wet when you first get there, don't worry. Give it a few hours. The main pool you see when you checkin is fairly meh. It's a large and clean kids pool with some average water slides. The real pool is close to the beach and much, MUCH more picturesque. We spend most of our time there. We also loved the location of the hotel. From the beach side of the property, it's a 7-10 minute walk to the shopping area and along the way there are a bunch of cute seaside dining and drink options. The drink stand closest to the hotel sells very cheap drinks, but unfortunately, the offbrand liquor (including tequila made from rice alcohol!) made for terrible drinks. The beach is very close and fairly clean, and it's only a short walk to the longtail boat dispatch hut where you can grab a boat to Railay beach (highly recommended).

We loved the pool on the beach area and the bonus of pool bar and Starbucks Right on beach with comfortable sun beds and umbrellas Staff where lovely Great breakfast Rooms were lovely and modern and very clean We had a swim up room but sat on the chairs at beach We didn’t have any sun on the pool veranda Everything is close in walking distance to get food snacks shopping or grab a long tail boat to islands Would definitely stay again A lovely resort

Great location and the kids loved the pools. Breakfasts had lots of variety and the night time entertainment (singers & fireshow) are fantastic. We had a hard time getting beach towels and wish the pools were open a bit longer - but other than that it was excellent.

Really amazing place, children-friendly. close to the beach w an amazing view. The breakfast spread was amazing too. However. we got the in-room pool, unfortunately, it wasn't a beautiful sight. Should have gotten a cheaper room as the shared pool was amazing enough.

Rooms have very thin walls. The daily fire show is absolutely pointless as you are sat on a beautiful beach with beautiful surroundings. Then all of a sudden some people turn up with the loudest speaker playing the worst music burning kerosene. Not needed and about as entertaining as a broken leg. Onsite singers also not particularly entertaining as can’t really sing. Some ambient vibes would be better. Breakfast hall too small for the amount of people. Lovely people but wouldn’t return.

Pros: Close to shopping, massage and restaurants, staff were very helpful booking activities, very friendly, lots of options at breakfast buffet, walk out pool suite was awesome but closes at 7 pm , which is way too early in my opinion Cons: Guests start placing towels on sunbeds at the crack of dawn and don't show up until halfway thru the day (ugh), only the beach restaurant is open all day, the other restaurant is only open for breakfast buffet Suggestions: for pool access suites, placing a mat inside the door to wipe wet feet would help, the floor can be very slippery when wet

Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! The hotel is nice - the breakfasts aren't anything you are going to write a review about - but they are fine and varied and not too bad. The restaurant at the beachside pool is very yummy if a bit expensive. Don't miss dinner there with the trio of young ladies singing and the fireshow - lots of fun. The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it.

Connected to everywhere and everything and pools are amazing along with breakfast buffet. In dining is great and a Day Spa attached and 1000 others only a 2 min walk.

Nous avons séjourné 10jours dans cet hôtel ! Super hôtel ! Petit déjeuner très varié . Le personnel est aux soins . Les piscines sont tes belles et il y a la plage à côté. Tout est parfait juste l insonorisation qui est à revoir mais le manque de délicatesse de la part des clients y est pour beaucoup !

I have NO CLUE how this was rated wonderful. The place smells of mold and kids run wild unattended yelling and screaming in the hallways. There was nothing relaxing about it at all. I had to use my inhaler because I was having difficulty breathing and was wheezing and had horrible headaches, itchy watery eyes and nose only while in the room. I sleep on the porch. Continually brought to the attention of front desk and security and housekeeping and when we checked out. We asked what the smell was and were told it was mold and I already knew it was mold. Horrible place

Our room and the whole resort was kept extremely clean, the staff were always polite and friendly and greeted you with a smile. Food was always well presented and tasted delicious…loved it here location was fantastic. Staff in the beach pool bar who went above and beyond… Asia, Nat and Marina. They made our stay wonderful

Perfect location close to the beach and the pier. Calm area away from main street. Excellent breakfast: wide selection of everything. The staff is really nice. The rooms are spacious and confortable though a bit dated. Even though there are many families with children, we had a room away from the area of activities and it was not an issue at all. The only negative point is for the rooms (like ours) that had the balcony on the oposite side of the swimming pools as there is a sweage river that stinks. We basically couldn't use the balcony.

The staff was lovely, especially John who worked near the pool. The hotel itself was a bit run down, caulk in the shower was grimy, the pool nearest the beach was especially tired looking, the tile around the edge looked filthy and falling apart.

Das Hotel war in einem sehr guten Zustand und das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett hat überzeugt. Leider hat es in unserem Zimmer nach Schimmel gerochen und die Luftfeuchtigkeit war unglaublich hoch, so dass abends immer alles mit einem feuchten Nebel belegt war.

Hadde rom med basseng utenfor. Luktet veldig rått på rommet. Seng var ok. Renhold bra. Høflige og blide mennesker i resepsjonen og de som jobbet med renhold og vaktmestertjenester. Frokost hadde godt og variert utvalg. Personalet i restauranten utenfor jobbet tregt og hadde ikke oversikt. Mange holdt av solsenger uten og benytte seg av de. Det ble ikke fjernet håndklær til tross for at det sto at ubenyttede senger ville bli ryddet etter 45 minutter. Beliggenhet på hotellet er glimrende. Rett ved stranden og kort vei til sentrum. Rolig område. Lytt fra rom og ut i gang. Mye bråk når folk kom sent hjem eller oppholdt seg i gangen. Roomservice var ok. Spurte om et par stoler til terrassen. Tok veldig lang tid før de kom. Litt dumt at det ikke var stoler der i utgangspunktet. Renhold på terrassen var fraværende. Kunne vært en kost tilgjengelig, da det samlet seg rusk og rask der. Lite plass til oppbevaring av klær. Neues Hotel Zimmer sind sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Private Pool. Eigentlich sehr schön nur dieser Gestank von dem Flüsschen zog sich durch das gesamte Hotel und war teilweise kaum auszuhalten. Hotelgäste klagten auch über Abwassergestank auf den Zimmern. Sehr schade.Das Flüsschen hätte einfach verrohrt werden müssen .

In the USA , this property is comparable to. Fairfield Inn by Marriott. We paid a premium to have Ocean view. The room is basic: hair dryer, fridge, hot pot and tea. The pool on the ocean side is small and has a small bar cafe. The staff were nice. We previously stayed at the Marriott Resort and Spa on Merlin Beach in Phuket. This property is much more basic. When we checked in, the staff member had us download their app. It was a bit flakyy to use.

Perfect location close to the beach and the pier. Calm area away from main street. Excellent breakfast: wide selection of everything. The staff is really nice. The rooms are spacious and confortable though a bit dated. Even though there are many families with children, we had a room away from the area of activities and it was not an issue at all. The only negative point is for the rooms (like ours) that had the balcony on the oposite side of the swimming pools as there is a sweage river that stinks. We basically couldn't use the balcony.

Hadde rom med basseng utenfor. Luktet veldig rått på rommet. Seng var ok. Renhold bra. Høflige og blide mennesker i resepsjonen og de som jobbet med renhold og vaktmestertjenester. Frokost hadde godt og variert utvalg. Personalet i restauranten utenfor jobbet tregt og hadde ikke oversikt. Mange holdt av solsenger uten og benytte seg av de. Det ble ikke fjernet håndklær til tross for at det sto at ubenyttede senger ville bli ryddet etter 45 minutter. Beliggenhet på hotellet er glimrende. Rett ved stranden og kort vei til sentrum. Rolig område. Lytt fra rom og ut i gang. Mye bråk når folk kom sent hjem eller oppholdt seg i gangen. Roomservice var ok. Spurte om et par stoler til terrassen. Tok veldig lang tid før de kom. Litt dumt at det ikke var stoler der i utgangspunktet. Renhold på terrassen var fraværende. Kunne vært en kost tilgjengelig, da det samlet seg rusk og rask der. Lite plass til oppbevaring av klær. Noen få åpne hyller. Trykket i vannklosettet var en vits.

We took a room with a privet pool but when arrived asked to change to pool access room, it was cheaper and we didn’t got refund but we liked it better because the privet pool is very small and the water was very cold. The room with pool access was great! The staff is very friendly and kind. Our 5 years old son enjoyed the play room very much. The location is good but not in the center, we rented a motorcycle and it was great! 5 min to most places.

Great breakfast but the coffee was strangely salty. Highly recommend the ocean view rooms. They are in the best location of the resort and the view is incredible. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful

The resort is right at the beachfront. The staffs at the front desk and the restaurant are friendly and helpful. Our luggage was sent directly to our room. The room is spacious, clean and well-air conditioned. There is a balcony opening to the swimming pool. Seven-eleven, good restaurants, pharmacies, and shopping areas are within walking distance.

Dårligt: papirs tynde vægge så man kunne høre ALT! Når folk satte deres telefon i opladeren, hvis der blev tabt en blyant.. ALT! Morgenmads området var frygteligt, fin mad, men alt for meget larm og for mange mennesker på lidt plads. Godt: dejlige senge og puder, stor pool og rent, sødt og hjælpsomt personale

Staff are friendly but service standards were a bit patchy and inconsistent. I shared my feedback with the front desk manager, Ms Nee, and she was eager to understand my concerns and do service recovery which I appreciated so despite these hiccups I would rate my stay as overall enjoyable. Location is excellent - once you step out you have access to restaurants and shops. The main shopping street is just a few mins walk away and the surroundings feel very safe as there are many people around. The sister resort Centara Grand is not far away and more posh but also more secluded as it is accessible only by boat so is less convenient, hence the Centara Ao Nang is a good compromise in terms of convenience vs comfort.

We really did enjoy this property. It exceeded or expectation. Front desk staff and check in great facilities lovely clean and welcoming towel service friendly and breakfast very good with lovely attentive staff. Our ocean view front room was great. We enjoyed the entertainment and the ease of moving from beach to hotel. Also enjoyed the new night market right behind the hotel. Lots of entertainment fun and great food. Kids loved the pool and overall place very clean tidy and organized. Appreciate all the hard working staff and enjoyed our dinner at the beach front bar. Free kids menu was a nice promo!! Finally the ladies who cleaned the room were great our room was spotless and they were lovely

Hotel is nice, walking distance from everything, at the end of the beach so not a crazy amount of tourists walking the beach. 95% of the staff were friendly and helpful, however some of them seems exhausted\ not motivated… We encountered several employees struggling with basic English. Our room was very clean and cozy. If you’re looking for a really quiet hotel, it might not be the best options since it was mainly families with young kids. Breakfast was ok.

God morgenmad, lækkert poolområde med drønlækker bar/café hvor de serverer varieret kvalitetsmad. Personalet er overalt flinke hjælpsomme og smilende. Aftensrestaurant med livemusik 3 gange om ugen samt barbecue. Alt i alt en super oplevelse som vi vender tilbage til næste år. Tak.

Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! The hotel is nice - the breakfasts aren't anything you are going to write a review about - but they are fine and varied and not too bad. The restaurant at the beachside pool is very yummy if a bit expensive. Don't miss dinner there with the trio of young ladies singing and the fireshow - lots of fun. The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it.

The hotel”s location is a 10/10. 3 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to town. The hotel is st the end of the road, so very quiet. Pools are great. We spent our time in the pool overlooking the beach. Breakfast was good.

Great stay for a family. Our room was facing the ocean, so it was a bit loud in the evening when I was trying to sleep (I sleep early with the kids) Breakfast didn’t have many options but it was alright. Location was great and restaurant next door was very very good.

Et hotell som passer utmerket for barnefamilier og de som liker å være og bli underholdt ved poolen. Et veldig bra hotel men veldig men får litt Spania følelse og ikke Thailand! Men hotellet har alt og frokosten er veldig bra! Ligger også fint og rolig og fint til i enden av Ao Nang stranden! Men samtidig veldig nær byen!

We had a great stay here! They upgraded our room for us and gave us our own personal pool on our balcony! The hotel pool was also beautiful and looked out right onto to the beach, which was just a few steps away. The location was awesome because it was right on the beach and a short walk from the main shopping, dining, and entertainment area in Ao Nang. Great property and location overall!

Stayed with family, our toddler enjoy the enormous pool and great breakfast options. Our room was huge with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and the beautiful limestone mountain. Water was provided in glass bottles and I did notice they used minimal plastic. The restaurant at the back is great, it's literally on the beach. Cool place to hang out for drinks in the evening. Cons: The beach isn't great, it was murky and was uninviting. The property also has an open drain running between the property. Although this wasn't a concern for us since our room was away from the drain. Might be an issue if your room is located close to the drain. The property is also located at a corner of AoNang, getting public transport requires a bit of a walk.

Such a perfect location! Just a short walk along the beach to the Ao Nang Night Market which has tons of shopping, spas, restaurants and bars! Stunning beach, with the cliffs to the left and immaculately kept rooms with speedy service.

Buffet breakfast wasn’t the greatest and some items were not refilled, my kids wanted flavoured milk at 7am but it was empty on consecutive days. Room cleaning each day seemed rushed and incomplete (left birthday cake plates and cutlery for 2 days, we had to take it out ourselves). The resort itself is great. The location is fantastic, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. I would come back.

This resort exceeded our expectations. The beach area behind the resort is wholesome. You're close to shopping. You can book boat tours near the reception desk. Breakfast is decent. Room service food is good overall. Location is great. We def recommend staying here to anyone! Only complaint was the loud annoying kids next door lol

Rooms have very thin walls. The daily fire show is absolutely pointless as you are sat on a beautiful beach with beautiful surroundings. Then all of a sudden some people turn up with the loudest speaker playing the worst music burning kerosene. Not needed and about as entertaining as a broken leg. Onsite singers also not particularly entertaining as can’t really sing. Some ambient vibes would be better. Breakfast hall too small for the amount of people. Lovely people but wouldn’t return.

The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it.
Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! Connected to everywhere and everything and pools are amazing along with breakfast buffet. In dining is great and a Day Spa attached and 1000 others only a 2 min walk.

Clean rooms, polite and helpful staff. Breakfast menu was amazing, bar and pools were alright. My partner thinks the AC was abit weak & not cool enough. (It was fine to me) Location is good, calm and quiet while being near enough if you want to walk 5 minutes for bars and more club'y areas.

We had a great stay. Nice room, fantastic polite staff, beach club with pool at the beach was a great experience and nice food and drinks. On the down side, the breakfast area is quite noisy and not a calm place to start your day. But! we will be happy to return! Send some extra love to the staff that sawadee us so nicely.
