This property is unique in that it doesn't have TV in every room and there is no refrigerator but there is a place for each room in the common refrigerator and you can cook in the common area. There is a hot tub but I didn't use it. Didn't miss the TV but like having refrigerator.

Loved our stay! The staff texted us prior to arrival letting us know everything we needed to know in advance. They were easily reached via text and answered immediately, they were very accommodating. The room was clean and cute. The grounds were nice with plenty of spots to sit outside and relax. The shared living room/kitchen was so cozy with a fire going. The fridge was available for everyone to label there food and store as needed. The hotel cat was a great welcome wagon and actually spent two nights snuggling with us in bed. Overall can’t recommend this place enough and would gladly stay there again in the future!

Such a great place! Clean and well stocked kitchen/dining area was fun to utilize. We will come back and rent a room for six as it would be fun and economical. The bathroom and shower were very modern and nice. There's a bathroom in the kitchen/ dining area as one bath for six might be inconvenient. Very nice laundry machines included.

Fantastically comfortable! Having a common area kitchen made for an "at home" experience. Where else can you stroll into a common area in the evening, in your PJs and make a cup of tea? We will defiantly stay here if in Bishop in the future!

Great location - walkable to restaurants and Erick Schat's Bakkerÿ. Beautiful, comfortable King room. Hot showers and cold A/C. We enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor gardens and really liked the community space. Access to a washer and dryer was awesome. Enjoyed the free all-day Mt Whitney Coffee. We loved Lucy, the Eastside cat mascot. Lucy so sweet. The Eastside Staff were wonderful. We would stay here again!

Beautiful property! Walking distance to a range of eating options. Towels were super rough and had a mildew smell. Sink was slow to drain and we struggled to get the air conditioner off or at a warmer temperature. We were pretty cold for the night. Communication from the staff was excellent.

This was a very pleasant stay. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a bench for suitcases, a desk, and an easy chair. The bathroom was clean and roomy. The property was excellent. It was so nice to enjoy our morning coffee outside on the shady lawn. We were able to walk to Mountain Rambler Brewery for dinner. The Schatz Bakkery was only a two minute walk. We often stay in Bishop on our way to northern California and have stayed at several different hotels in the area. This was by far the best. We will be back.

Super great location, very well managed and maintained property, really pleasant products, very clean and nice. Can't recommend the Sabrina room or staying at the front of the property. Did not get a lot of sleep between the traffic on Main Street, the light coming in from the front porch, and the guest upstairs walking around after midnight. I'm sure the rooms further back are great and the rest of the property is quite enjoyable

Unfortunately The heat in my upstairs room did not work. They had to give me a space heater to keep it warm as it was cold outside they indicated that the system only sets from the lower rooms and couldn’t be adjusted.

Loved the quirky vibe. And everything was spotless and looked like new. My room was on the lower floor of what looks like an 1800 period house. But it is actually either new or was gutted and made new again. The room faces the Main Street, but I heard next to no noise thanks to the perfect insulation and double panes windows. The air conditioning worked well and the bathroom has period style brass fixtures and easy to operate to get plenty of water at your preferred temperature. I loved it and will book here again.

We knew it was a guesthouse/bivy type of situation, but we were unaware our room was a 'micro' room, where one side of the queen bed required that guest to climb up over the other to get out of the bed. The light for the bathroom, immediately on the other side of the bed, is sensored and the switch is on the backside of the bathroom door, so whenever you use the bathroom, the guest remaining in the bed is blasted with light. The switch really should be on the other side of the door. It's too small of a room for a pleasure trip, but the price was fair and it was clean. We probably won't stay there again, but it's budget-friendly and perfect for a tired hiker or driver who needs a quiet place to sleep. No TV, no frills, but safe and plenty of parking, charming property, and the community room with coffee and refrigerator space is a big plus.

Beautiful place, very family friendly, nice laundry area. Only thing I would have preferred is more space for luggage and toiletries. There was really no where to put our suitcases except on the beds and the counter in the bathroom was too small to leave the toiletry bag. I would certainly stay there again.

Super great location, very well managed and maintained property, really pleasant products, very clean and nice. Can't recommend the Sabrina room or staying at the front of the property. Did not get a lot of sleep between the traffic on Main Street, the light coming in from the front porch, and the guest upstairs walking around after midnight. I've stayed here multiple times and will not come back. This last visit the hvac in my room was broken and would only cycle onto heat, leaving the room unbearably hot. After calling the property in the middle of the night they're staff came out and tried their best to troubleshoot but confirmed the unit was defective, they were very friendly and said they would love to give me a partial refund for my troubles but since I booked through Expedia I would have to go through them. In the end after multiple inquiries I received no refund and was left completely outraged! Long story short, this place is fine until you need help for something customer service-related. It's a shame, trust is everything in a business these days and this place doesn't have it. I'll tell my extended family who regularly passes through Bishop to stay elsewhere.

The shower had no grab rails and what made it a significant safety issue is the lights going out during my shower leaving me in total darkness. Apparently the lights are on some kind of timer. I tried desperately waving my arms hoping it was on a motion detector. I suppose in absolute darkness it wouldn't detect motion or perhaps it is just a timer. I consider myself lucky that I did not have a fall in the darkness. I was to rate the place a 5 star until this happened. Also the staff's response was kind of blase'. They said they would put it on the "Maintenance List"

This is a quaint and pleasant place to stay - especially after a 6-day backpack. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the grounds are inviting. It is tucked away in the middle of a busy area - with several restaurants in walking distance. Even still, it felt like a bit of paradise among the hustle and bustle. I will definitely return here again.

Worst place ever, they never gave me check in instructions, i called and said i was going to be in after 10pm and they didnt tell me no one would be at the front desk and no instructionsfor a late check in, so i had to stay elsewhere, then they still charged my card and say its my fault, im definitely calling my bank and reporting this as fraud

What a gem of a place! The shared community kitchen is well-equipped and charming, as well as my room. The staff graciously made an adjustment to my date of stay when I was delayed by a storm. The only downside is I was in a room near the front of the property, so noise on the 395 made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, I loved the place and highly recommend!

Nice place and fun area. They tried to put my bride and myself ( seniors) in a " Bunck house ". I had surgery on my back and couldn't lean over enough to get into bed. Becky was super helpful however, to switch to a different room, with a normal bed, cost us more because Memorial day was coming up ( a week away,) and they needed to charge more.....In advance. They obviously don't have a real desire to have repeat business. ( This was our second stay with them in 6 weeks). I get it, big tourist season. We were already there, with a reservation, arrived at 9:30 pm. Oh well, the mighty dollar ruled the day. Room was clean and the bed acceptable. The " blendor" needs to be replaced, the shower temperature is not stable.

I had a solo queen room, which was comfy as can be. Between the soft sheets, the ample pillows, and well-stocked restrooms, I couldn’t have asked for more! The staff was particularly friendly, and they made me feel truly welcome and special. The community features (such as the fridge and the outside area) also made for great conversational opportunities!

Very cute, charming place. Great stopover on the way to Mammoth. And it’s conveniently located with Shatz’s store on one side and Shatz’s Roadhouse Cafe on the other. The community room is nice as well.

Just a pretty place and peaceful amongst the trees. And coffee was sooooo good in the dining area room in the morning. Apparently from a local roaster. Normally hotel/motel coffee is bad. This was excellent
