Went to check in at 930pm for a $300 room, asked for late check out and stay was extended a half hour. Anywhere else ive ever requested late check out has always given an extra hour. Not a single car in the lot when we left and check in was 3pm so Im cknfused why 11am instead of 10:30 wasnt an open option being as we didnt even check in till 9:30 Asked for extra towels never recieved them Room service came to clean the room at 10am sharp at check out time. When inexpressed politely we had a late check out was given an atittude. Pool was covered and unable to be used. Ckntinental breakfast was scrambled wggs and sausage patties.....jam and cream cheese. No bagels in sight so nothing to write home about. 4 strikes and probally wont go back.

Great spot for skiing at Hunter. Clean rooms, safe feel. Breakfast at 6 is very convenient. They also fixed up the two level 2 J1772 chargers which is helpful for EV owners as well.

The hotel is new and clean, but the breakfast is very limited and gone before 9am so if your not up by 7am do not bother because it is not replenished. The pool is freezing cold so scratch that off your list and the wi-fi is terrible so don't plan on working from here. Gaming systems are also not allowed to connect so tell the kids! It is convenient to 87 and Saugerties is a cute little town. When we stayed for NYE the fire alarm went off at 2am and everyone had to evacuate their rooms and nobody was given a reason till the following morning when we learned an idiot was smoking on our floor...fun times. Use your own discretion....

Manager was beyond rude. Room was not cleaned properly. There was blood all in the bathroom. Two pillowcases had stuff on them. Luckily, I brought lysol and cleaned what I could. In order to use the lights in the room, you have to insert your room key into the wall. Positives: TV worked great and the water in the shower was hot. Overall, we will not be staying here again.

If you need to go to bed early, don’t come here without earplugs. Or try staying in an even numbered room on the first floor. The hotel can’t do anything about this, but it’s on a well-traveled road AND close to train tracks, which were very busy the Sunday night I stayed. Train running and blaring at least until 10 PM, by which time, in my third floor room, I had dragged bedding into the sound-proof bathroom (very nice, spacious, up to date). First floor rooms probably get significantly less noise. Muffled noise from other rooms is mildly annoying — thin walls, as other reviews have stated. Check-in was very professional; the clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was neat and clean and very much up to date. Coffee maker, frig and microwave - check. Black-out shade - check. First time I’ve had to use the key card to keep the lights on, but what a good idea — saves energy. For safety, the bathroom light is independent. Note to bridesmaids, the mirror light is super bright. Breakfast was fine and the clerk made a point of checking with all the guests.

Unlike previous Holiday Inn Express locations, the desk staff were always present. The location is not really close to any of the places we wanted to visit . The room was very nice. The walls and ceiling were not sound proof.

The room and bed are so comfortable. Both Firm and Soft pillows....LABELED! Plenty of places to put clothes and a full sized luggage shelf available. Excellent lighting. Really unique. Two pull down shades and one is a blackout shade that is fabulous. The bathroom has great lighting and plenty of counter space. The breakfast is fine and the area to sit is lovely. The people who work the front are wonderfully friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

There appears to be no soundproofing between the walls. The people next to us were very loud at night and early in the morning so we were unable to sleep much. I would not return to this hotel for this reason.

I originally chose this hotel because of the high cleanliness rating. It was indeed clean and up to date. We arrived on a Wednesday and all was well, however the Wi-Fi went out Thursday morning and was still not working when we checked out on Sunday. Considering I had work to do and deadlines to meet this was unacceptable. The desk staff did not seem overly concerned and that was very frustrating. Every time I inquired about the service and asked for an update they knew nothing. I had to leave the property to get any work done. I also had parking issues on two of the nights as there were no parking spots left when we returned from dinner. I was told to park in the handicap parking which definitely was uncomfortable for as other guests saw us getting in and out of the car and thought we were taking advantage.

Staff was terrific. Especially night front desk. I checked in around 2am. He suggested a room on an upper floor, due to I was a woman traveling alone. He also suggested one with a view of my homeland Catskill mountains. He got to know why I was here and made it a nice visit. Thank you.

We gave 4 separate cards for 4 rooms, but check-in staff charged my card for 2 rooms! Staff was no where to find upon 6:30 am checkout. Rooms were very clean and beds comfy with good linen. Towels scratchy and small and toilet paper was the worst one experienced in the US!

This place has a staff that is possibly the most incompetent and non customer focused team I have ever experienced. The parent company should be appalled. Between Messing up reservations, housekeeping losing customers personal items and no leadership/manager available ever. It’s the land of “we can’t help you” or “we don’t know” and “we can’t reach the manager”. The breakfast set up was late and not consistent. This place has a staff that is possibly the most incompetent and non customer focused team I have ever experienced. The parent company should be appalled. Between Messing up reservations, housekeeping losing customers personal items and no leadership/manager available ever. It’s the land of “we can’t help you” or “we don’t know” and “we can’t reach the manager”. The breakfast set up was late and not consistent. If you are looking for a hotel that treats their customers like guests, this is NOT the place for you.

Me and a few friends stayed here while visiting Hunter mountain. The location was great, only about 25-30 minutes from the mountain. The room was clean and really nice. The breakfast could have been alittle bit better, but it was nice to have prior to going to the slopes.

If you need to go to bed early, don’t come here without earplugs. Or try staying in an even numbered room on the first floor. The hotel can’t do anything about this, but it’s on a well-traveled road AND close to train tracks, which were very busy the Sunday night I stayed. Train running and blaring at least until 10 PM, by which time, in my third floor room, I had dragged bedding into the sound-proof bathroom (very nice, spacious, up to date). First floor rooms probably get significantly less noise. Muffled noise from other rooms is mildly annoying — thin walls, as other reviews have stated. Check-in was very professional; the clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was neat and clean and very much up to date. Coffee maker, frig and microwave - check. Black-out shade - check. First time I’ve had to use the key card to keep the lights on, but what a good idea — saves energy. For safety, the bathroom light is independent. Note to bridesmaids, the mirror light is super bright. Breakfast was fine and the clerk made a point of checking with all the guests.

Unlike previous Holiday Inn Express locations, the desk staff were always present. The location is not really close to any of the places we wanted to visit . The room was very nice. The walls and ceiling were not sound proof.

Great spot for skiing at Hunter. Clean rooms, safe feel. Breakfast at 6 is very convenient. They also fixed up the two level 2 J1772 chargers which is helpful for EV owners as well.

The room and bed are so comfortable. Both Firm and Soft pillows....LABELED! Plenty of places to put clothes and a full sized luggage shelf available. Excellent lighting. Really unique. Two pull down shades and one is a blackout shade that is fabulous. The bathroom has great lighting and plenty of counter space. The breakfast is fine and the area to sit is lovely. The people who work the front are wonderfully friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is new and clean, but the breakfast is very limited and gone before 9am so if your not up by 7am do not bother because it is not replenished. The pool is freezing cold so scratch that off your list and the wi-fi is terrible so don't plan on working from here. Gaming systems are also not allowed to connect so tell the kids! It is convenient to 87 and Saugerties is a cute little town. When we stayed for NYE the fire alarm went off at 2am and everyone had to evacuate their rooms and nobody was given a reason till the following morning when we learned an idiot was smoking on our floor...fun times. Use your own discretion....

Stayed 1 night for a short ski trip. Hotel was in convenient location and good overall but the included breakfast was a disaster as there was almost no food available...as if the kitchen staff didn't show up for work. Guests were trying to eat quickly so they could head to the ski slopes and just ended up looking around in disbelief that they were being screwed out of breakfast before leaving (hungry) in disgust.
