Excellent location. Rooms were small but super clean and modern. Nice breakfast spread. Parking across the street was $40 for 24 hours, so long as you get the ticket stamped by the hotel front desk. That's a good deal, as parking in NYC can be quite costly.

Relatively quite for being in NYC. Breakfast was good, but if it wasn't for you, there were two bakeries on the corners, plus a 7/11... a few minutes away from Time Square and Rockefeller center... To access the lobby you have to use your key card so there was that extra safety measure....

I loved it! Would come back and stay here. Walkable and close to everything with good food options everywhere. The parking across the street was easy and discounted when staying at the hotel. They held my luggage before check in and after check out. The staff was so nice, place was clean. Had 0 issues. Definitely worth it and the price is good for the area.

I was suprised how clean this place was and how good the hot breakfast was. Also they bake fresh cookies at 5:00 each night, such a great added act. I felt to safe here as you can’t enter the lobby without a room key. Room was modern and Maintenence was there within minutes to fix a bathroom issue and was so kind! The gym is not on sight which was not my favorite but you have access to a free gym 4 blocks away.

We had 3 rooms for multiple generations of family, and we all walked away feeling like this was a good choice for us. We were there for 4 nights. Things we noted: - It was on a quiet street but the action was just at the end of the block, which was nice - elevators were nice and generally speedy (reviews of many other NYC hotels complained extensively about slow elevators) - transit was close but not super close. Expect about a 8-10 min walk anytime you need to jump on the subway. - staff was nice, warm cookies were delicious, always coffee and ice in the lobby - breakfast was fine but nothing to gush over. Bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, yogurt plus 2 hot items rotated by the day (egg type, meat type) - rooms were clean & quiet, beds were comfy. Rooms are pretty tiny but wasn’t surprised for NYC. hopefully you like your roommate! Overall, all 5 travelers give this a thumbs up!

First of all, i loved how convenient its location was to major Manhattan highlights such as Times Square, Broadway & Penn Station. We never had to worry about distance to food, shopping or attractions. However, i didn't appreciate the fact that rooms are cleaned only once in 3 days. Considering how small the rooms were, accumulating 3 days worth of waste in addition to our personal belongings made the room an eyesore sometimes. It was annoying. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. Limited choices but we were fine with going out to eat. Gave us an opportunity to sample the city cuisine. Overall, it was an okay stay. Staff were very pleasant and warm and willing to give suggestions on anything.

This is an average 3-star hotel, certainly not 'fabulous' as Expedia suggests. If you're sensitive to smells or mold, I wouldn’t recommend it. The lobby had a sewage/moldy odor masked by excessive air fresheners, and our room had a moldy smell coming from the sink. On the plus side, the staff was nice, the breakfast was good, and the room was overall clean.

The room was cozy. Perfectly fit me and my 5 month old child. It was a king room. The amenities/toiletries were lovely and the toweling and bedding was very nice. The front desk staff were absolutely lovely and kind as well as welcoming. I did have a few issues. For 300+ a night; dollars I would expect a clean room. The sink had hair and dirt and the lotion was mostly used. The shower floor was dirty, no fault to the housekeeper on that though. The floor of the shower is tile so the tiles look dingy. Otherwise it was a nice stay and pretty reasonably priced for being so close to Penn station.

This hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and very convenient. Room was supplied with plenty of clean towels in great condition. The shower had plenty of hot water even on the 22 floor and a wonderful large diameter shower head.

This hotel is located really conveniently near to Times sq and local subway stations - perfect for basic tourism. The room is basic compact, clean and comfortable. The bed was big and comfy! The rooms are only cleaned every three days, and then only on request made the day before which I found a bit odd. There was no kettle but a coffee maker (annoying for a tea drinker!) Breakfast was ok, yoghurt, apples, waffles, bagels and awful eggs and some meat products. The breakfast room is tiny for a huge hotel so is busy is you’re there after 8. I was unimpressed with the eco-friendly side of the hotel, tiny miniatures in the room, and at breakfast everything was covered in plastic. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly and they give out freshly baked cookies (covered in plastic) in the afternoon. Free hot drink’s always available in reception. The hotel takes a $200 deposit per room on arrival, and additional city tax at about $26 per day - so make sure you budget for this!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortabl, the staff were super friendly and helpful and we could not hear any noise from outside. The room was also a decent size, especially for New York .The hotel offered breakfast which included eggs, sausages, hash browns and assorted pastries. They also had tea and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The even had freshly baked cookies for their guests in the evening between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Our room was more modern, cleaner and more comfortable than we expected. The midtown location was perfect for exploring all of the city. Staff was very professional and friendly. We loved every minute. We would definitely stay here again.

During my stay, I was charged an extra fee for each night in addition to the damage deposit, which I’m still following up on. At check-in, the receptionist clearly told me that since I booked through the Expedia app, I didn’t need to pay anything further. However, after checking out, I saw that I had been charged regardless. The breakfast was repetitive and inedible. The eggs were dry, tasteless, and had the texture of cake. I couldn’t eat the hotel breakfast even once during my stay. The TV in the room was outdated and not a smart TV . I couldn’t even watch YouTube or use screen mirroring. The room itself was also quite small. However, overall, the room and hotel was clean.

Likes location, super comfortable bed, free breakfast, free cookies, able to print documents. Dislikes cramped rooms and bathrooms...not used to this with other la quinta locations. Water is not provided in the room, there should be a compromise of lower fees because of this. Wifi is dodgy, my computer and phone alerted me of this so i had to use roaming data for piece of mind. I would revisit only for a quick trip nothing more than 2 nights.

The hotel itself was perfect for a NY stay. Bed was comfy, bathroom was nice, room was super clean. The free breakfast was perfect for just a quick bite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I felt safe in the area but it was a little disheartening with the amount of homeless/displaced citizens in the area. They didn't bother us at all, was just sad to see just about everywhere. No concerns for our safety though especially since the door requires a key for you to enter the building. Overall, would consider staying here again!

Very walkable to Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. The room was clean and updated, and there were only 4 rooms per floor so it was quiet all night. They even kept our bags after checkout so we could explore before our train. Check in was easy, and the building was very secure.

The location is ideal for tourists who want to see the touristy things. We walked most places and grabbed the subway or bus for others. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was like most hotels. The room was small and didn’t have a closet or drawers. The bathroom didn’t have any counter space and the only mirror was the one above the sink. That made it hard for several people to get ready each morning. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. They also have cookies available each evening!

We were just in NYC for 3 nights (family of 4). It was a great location with parking literally across the street. It was $40USD when you get it stamped by the hotel, which is about as cheap as you can find in NYC. THe hotel was ultra clean and we were impressed with how they kept it. The front desk was great and helpful. Be sure to get your freshly baked cookied atfter 5pm! It was a great location that was easily walkable to Times Square and other NYC attractions. We were just in NYC for 3 nights (family of 4). It was a great location with parking literally across the street. It was $40USD when you get it stamped by the hotel, which is about as cheap as you can find in NYC. THe hotel was ultra clean and we were impressed with how they kept it. The front desk was great and helpful. Be sure to get your freshly baked cookied atfter 5pm! It was a great location that was easily walkable to Times Square and other NYC attractions. Also close to the subway and 10min walk max to Penn Station. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

Extremely clean lobby and room. Mostly very friendly staff with the exception of one woman who went out of her way to be extremely rude for no reason. Otherwise would have given this a full five stars, but took away a whole star because of unnecessary over unfriendliness to a very polite customer. Poor representative for the brand.

Overall Hotel is at great location, property and room is clean. Lady at front desk who works morning shift was extremely rude. I ask to change our room because AC was too loud .She was making feel like I am serving her and she is a customer. Her voices so loud and she is rude, the way how she look at you - you just don’t want to deal with her . Management please don’t put people at front desk who doesn’t want to help

I've stayed in a lot of Manhattan area hotels, rarely bother to write a review but worth it this time. This is a great option. The rooms are clean and modern as is the hotel in general. But the front desk staff really stands out. Friendly efficient service. Quick check in. Always a smile and quick to assist with any questions. You don't get that often in NYC. I'll be staying here again.

The room and lobby was exceptionally clean as well as the breakfast area. Warm cookies in the lobby very nice touch. Most of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the exception of a very rude employee who went out of her way to be unfriendly for no reason whatsoever. Fabulous! The best NYC hotel stay I have had in years. Staff is amazing - welcoming & helpful. Very comfortable room & quiet (no street noise, no hotel noise), and so clean. Bathroom shower was phenomenal, plus fresh towels daily. Discount given at garage across the street for hotel guests, and here too they were very accommodating. Many restaurants within an easy walk. This is a hidden gem. Do not hesitate to book.

We we very happy this this hotel. The access to the subway was exactly between the stops at 34th and Penn station and the 42nd St. Time Square. It was quick walk to Broadway and Time's Square for Broadways show. We found a super great Italian restaurant just 1/2 block away. I think it was called Nitti's on 9th Ave. Our hotel bed was comfortable, nice pillows, nice view, nicely insulated from lots of noise. We appreciated the coffee, hot chocolate and warm cookies in the lobby!

Nice hotel located convenient to many Midtown attractions. Very walkable area. Located on a "quieter" street so very little outside noise (we were on the 4th floor). Hotel was a rather "skinny" building but they used their space well. Room was in great shape and larger than we were predicting for a 2 bed unit. Breakfast area was very small with limited seating for the number of people trying to use it (we opted to take food and eat in the lobby). Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Good security for the building. Would definitely recommend and consider staying their again.

Loved the location! Right across from a parking garage, within walking distance to Rockefeller and Times Square, lots of dining and shopping options nearby! The hotel itself was perfect for a NY stay. Bed was comfy, bathroom was nice, room was super clean. The free breakfast was perfect for just a quick bite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I felt safe in the area but it was a little disheartening with the amount of homeless/displaced citizens in the area. They didn't bother us at all, was just sad to see just about everywhere. No concerns for our safety though especially since the door requires a key for you to enter the building. Overall, would consider staying here again!

We had 3 rooms for multiple generations of family, and we all walked away feeling like this was a good choice for us. We were there for 4 nights. Things we noted: - It was on a quiet street but the action was just at the end of the block, which was nice - elevators were nice and generally speedy (reviews of many other NYC hotels complained extensively about slow elevators) - transit was close but not super close. Expect about a 8-10 min walk anytime you need to jump on the subway. - staff was nice, warm cookies were delicious, always coffee and ice in the lobby - breakfast was fine but nothing to gush over. Bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, yogurt plus 2 hot items rotated by the day (egg type, meat type) - rooms were clean & quiet, beds were comfy. Rooms are pretty tiny but wasn’t surprised for NYC. hopefully you like your roommate! Overall, all 5 travelers give this a thumbs up!

I will stay here again. Tje staff was great and very helpful. My only issue was wifi but they are working on it. We were in the heart of Manhattan. Just far enough from times square to avoid all the noise but close enough to wlk and join the fun and see the sights. Very close to the port terminal so easy access to all subway routes.

Excellent location. Rooms were small but super clean and modern. Nice breakfast spread. Parking across the street was $40 for 24 hours, so long as you get the ticket stamped by the hotel front desk. That's a good deal, as parking in NYC can be quite costly.

Good hotel, well placed for exploring NY. Bonus that breakfast included. Only possible issue is that breakfast area is very small so if you want to sit and eat breakfast, you need to time it right. We just took it back to our room which was fine. Would use again

It was very good. The only thing I didn't like was the limited room during the free breakfast. There is barely any seating area, I had to bring my food to my room. Otherwise I have no complaints about this hotel. I would stay there again. Its near the action, clean, next to $1.50 pizza joint.

Extremely small, clean, quiet room & bathroom. Good basic free hot & cold breakfast but limited seating & small room so be prepared to eat fast. Tea/coffee in the lobby 24/7. Parking is across the street, cost us $220 for 4 days with hotel validation, don't forget to tell them when parking. Easy walking to most sights the subway to get to far away sights. Google maps works well for subway use & walking. Don't use Uber/cabs, traffic is the worst.

Although the room was very small (welcome to New York!), it was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and replaced our non-working iron. Breakfast was good, although I wish they had some gluten-free options available. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and will likely be back again!
