The ice machines didn’t work. There was trash in the hall way. When checking in (evening) my questions seemed more of a bother and were answered half fast. Morning staff was great! Wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff was great. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfy. The breakfast was good. We did have 2 problems. We had an ADA accessible room. The shower would have been great except there was no bench to sit on and the floor would be slick when wet. The toilet was not ADA accessible. It was low with no grab bars, in a tight confined space. If I had been alone I wouldnt have been able to use it. The bed was quite high too. If a traveler is in a wheelchair it would be awkward to get into. Like with the toilet it would be impossible to use a transfer board. There was also a problem with parking. When we first arrived parking was OK, but when we returned, after attending the HEART concert, after midnight there was no place to park. We had to park on the street which is inconvenient for persons with disabilities and dangerous for everybody. It was a close drive (10 minutes) to the Maverick Center. The staff was apologetic and said they'd pass along the info to management.

I paid for a room with a tub and they gave me one without one. The indoor pool and hot tub were not available. Which is why i picked this hotel, for the in room tub and indoor pool and hottub very disappointed

Check-in was a challenge as there was no one at the front desk, so waiting even though other workers came by he said we just had to wait. Then the ice machines were broken and non-functional. When i asked for assistance the worker told me I just had to try all the machines to see if any of them are working. He made no effort in helping me get ice when I called him reporting the ice machine on my floor was non-functional. I tend to expect more from Hampton and that is why I am willing to pay more for a room.

We LOVED this hotel. Enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. Staff was amazing! Breakfast was hot with lots of choices. Did I mention the shower made us feel like we went to the spa. Amazing hotel will stay here again.

Great location, easily walkable to several restaurants and even a Target. Very clean and fresh smelling throughout the facility. Each and every staff member we encountered was nice and helpful. The room was clean, modern, and spacious. The bed was moderately comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Their continental breakfast is wonderful, they offer many delicious and healthy options, in addition to restocking frequently. Well kept indoor pool and hot tub on site too! We had a great stay, this will be our “go to” for all future SLC visits!

The room was grimy. Fabric chair had spill stains. Bathroom floor had sticky spots. Carpet was vacuumed but stained. Other than floor the bathroom was clean. Clean beds & towels. The building was nice and close to many restaurants.

We stayed here overnight. The entire floor we stayed on was covered in dirty towels and trash throughout the entire hallway. At the elevators where the garbage cans were, the entire floor was covered in peoples dirty trash. I would never stay at this hotel again.

After many hours of traveling, there was no one at the front desk to check us in. There was a sign saying they were away from the desk. After waiting over 15 minutes, the gentleman in front of me in line who had also been waiting,called the number on the sign, he didn’t receive a response. Mind you it says it’s an emergency. He’d been waiting longer than me. I called the number as well, no response. He had booked through the hilton app and said he was able to do an electronic check in. I booked through hotels.com so didn’t give me an option for that. I waited almost 30 min, people are lined up behind me, and finally the lady comes. She said she had a mess in the conference room she had to clean up. She was friendly and apologetic. Shouldn’t cleaning be a housekeeping responsibility I thought to myself. Anyway, the cleaning was average, the carpet wasn’t vacuumed well, crumbs scattered. Just needed more detailed cleaning. Stains on the chair and carpet. I paid for a suite, it was a large room with fridge and sink. Had nice views of the mountains.

Overall,hotel met our needs. Our complaint is the customers above us were constantly walking and banging things at 1AM. Called the front desk and complained which helped lessen the noise a bit .

The staff was really welcoming and made the check in process easy. The rooms were really modern. The room was vibrant and clean. The tv showed my name with a welcoming image. I would stay here again.

Overall our stay was great. The only thing that was not great was the treatment before we left. They offer a free breakfast which is a perk that I really enjoy as a mother of two kids traveling. So we woke up, packed up our stuff and began loading some it into the car, then went back inside to eat before going upstairs to get the rest of our stuff. I guess leaving through the side door and re-entering in the front caused the front desk girl to think we were stealing. She gave us the nastiest looks as we got our food. Finally my husband went to ask her if there was a straw available and she had enough and demanded proof we were staying there. He provided the room number, she demanded ID to verify the last name on the room. He even flashed her the key. She was still giving us the stink eye even after he proved we stayed the night. Totally weird. Not sure if this is a normal thing for Utah - families going to hotels to steal free breakfast - or what. But the hotel was nice, the pool was great and the rooms were extremely clean. Everyone except that morning receptionist was a pleasure to encounter.

Very nice hotel, we really enjoyed it. The facility is very nice and most of the experience was great. However, the check in experience we had was less than stellular. The guy working the front desk seemed almost annoyed that I was there to check in. Got me checked in, and I went to my room. I had prepaid for a suite, but he put me in a regular room. I called the desk and told him that I had paid for a suite, but was given a regular room. He said, I guess I can switch you to another room. No apology, acted a bit like I was being difficult, because I wanted what I had paid for. Every other employee was great for the rest of the stay. Maybe not the best employee to have working the front desk on a Saturday afternoon.

Great location with lots of options for dining. Great access to the highway for a cross country trip. Breakfast was great. The facility was very clean and the ladies who checked me in and out were very friendly. It would be nice if the Hampton Inns allowed free internet access.
