The hotel itself is an amazing property. On our first night the toilet was plugged up and wouldn't flush. The bath tub was slow to drain. After I reported it, the issue was resolved by the building engineer. The service at the Rib Room was horrible - we had to order our own drinks from the bar on three different occasions. It took staff quite a long time to bus tables and the bar was hardly busy. The bell staff was so friendly which was so appreciated. I did love the history of the hotel. The roof top pool was really beautiful with great views.

Really nice hotel with great service and food. First room had an inoperable faucet that required a change after we were settled in. On the last night, the rooftop bar was closed for a private event, which was a bad look especially because the main restaurant was closed. Great location for WWII Museum

Elevators were not working most of the week (mostly one out of three).we did not get informed regarding construction until we checked in. Inside our room a flashing light flashed brightly 24/7. Tons of room defects, sliding bathroom door was of it’s hinges, amenities not filled (soap etc). The staff were amazing and friendly and the hotel theme was great.

Beautiful decor, intoxicating fragrance being pumped in, arts/museum district and Magazine Street shopping so close by. Also pretty close to French Quarter and Insectarium/Aquarium though removed enough to avoid too much traffic. Ease of access. Helpful bellman - thank you, Chip. I also loved that we were on the 3rd floor near the gym. Adequate amenities in the gym. (However, there was no soap nor hand sanitizer in the dispensers. Kind of important in workout areas). View of the WWII Museum. Rooftop bar. Convenient coffee stand. Really, it's a beautiful hotel. Negatives - $45/night parking in the garage is ridiculous

The hotel is absolutely stunning the food was fabulous. The rooftop had spectacular scenery. Hotel itself is filled with war memorabilia throughout. Nothing short of amazing. The night staff was not as pleasant or accommodating as the day staff, but that's to be expected.

This property is very nice. You have to pay for parking deck and restraunts on property but it is well worth the money. Rosie's on the roof was really good with a beautiful view of the city. We did the grab and go breakfast which was good and convenient. I would definitely recommend this property to others and if we are in this area in the future we would definitely stay here again.

A good hotel, 2 issues, 1) the ice in my floor (7th floor) did not work so I had to go to the 4th floor for ice. 2) the key or app either worked or didn’t work the whole weekend, either the key worked or the app worked, so it was a guessing game every time in the elevator, going into the room, coming back from inside, or using the gate to get my car out of the parking garage.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, but what truly stood out was the honesty and kindness of the staff. My husband accidentally left his wedding band in the room after we checked out, and thanks to the incredible housekeeping team and the manager, they found it and returned it to us. We are beyond grateful! Their integrity and care meant the world to us. Highly recommend this place—not only for the comfort but also for the people who make it truly special.

I loved everything about The Higgins. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Both rooms I stayed in were cleaned very well, were good sized, and comfortably outfitted. Beds are firm. Location was great- hotels in the Quarter are often too loud for me, but the Higgins was quiet while being close enough to easily access the Quarter. The WWII Museum is across the street and is a fantastic way to spend a day and the hotel is filled with interesting WWII memorabilia.

The condition of the room was unfortunate. There was a hole in the sheets, hair in the shower and the condition of the walls around the toilet was gross. One of the reasons I booked this place was because of the cool rooftop space. I was only there for a night and it was closed for a private event.

Very nice hotel. Our room was very nice but carpet could have been cleaner. Convenient location to the WWII museum, across the street! Short Uber rides to major New Orleans attractions. Decent restaurants in hotel for coffee, breakfast and snacks. Front staff friendly.

The hotel staff was amazing, the only complaint I had was the bathroom shower walls were not cleaned properly and neither was the carpet. There was some type of residue on the carpet that was extremely sticky and nasty. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!!

We had a decent stay. The property is real nice but it’s about 5 minutes from bourbon by car, or 15 minutes walking. Additionally, our room could have used some additional cleaning and our bed sheets weren’t changed when we requested it.

I would give this a 5 star except for the air handler in the room. It forces the air directly at the head of the bed. There is no way to alter the direction of the air. In addition the air comes out extremely cold and does not come on until the room is getting warm....a big deal at night...hot to frozen in a few minutes. It's a shame as otherwise this is a great facility. For me this is a game breaker....there are other choices in the area if being close to the WWII museum .

The smell as soon as you walk in was distinctive and location was close to the convention center and river walk. The carpet looked great along with the furniture and decor. The room was very cramped and tight and the shower losing water was not kind to our family.

It’s always an amazing stay at Hotel Higgins! We opted for the room with a balcony this time and highly recommend it. The bathroom and size of the suite was amazing! Only thing that could have been better was the patio furniture was not very comfortable.

Aside from being a Hilton, it’s also the official WW2 Museum hotel, and filled with military photos, etc. The museum is directly across the street and with your ticket you can go in and out all day. Easy access to French Qtr, about a mile walk, nice restaurants, love the room, good TV selections, internet access, clean, nice shower, reading room off the elevator, if you’re so inclined. You’ll love the museum itself, but plan for at least a full day, perhaps 2. Well done and well worth it! So much of which to be proud as an American and it’s on display there. Again, French Qtr is not far, and there’s plenty to eat. If you’re a people watcher, you’re fascinated. There are boat rides nearby, and the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience just up the street. I had not planned to see anything but the museum, I was not disappointed other than I had no idea how big it was and how much time was needed to fully enjoy it all. But a I’ll be back to do more of it and spend more time than a single day there and enjoy some of the other delights of Crescent City.

In 40 years traveling I never have been refused a one hour extension of the check out time. Would not even listen to me. One hour longer wait at airport. Not happy!!!

Upon arrival, there was no to help with bags at all. No doorman or bell hop was on staff from Monday through Thursday. Our room was not cleaned during an entire day after calling guest services that morning and specifically requesting it. The view was pretty. The food was good (3.5/5) The staff who were onsite were very nice, but the hotel is very much under-staffed.

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff were NEVER friendly or inviting. Terrence the concierge was absolutely AMAZING!! My gosh he was THE BEST. HE should be greeting everyone as they enter the lobby. I just can’t imagine why the front desk staff are SO unfriendly. It truly puzzles me. Well, thank you Terrence for making a difference in our trip. We truly thank you!!!!

Front desk staff was amazing the whole time!!! But the bartenders made us feel unwelcome like we were a burden. It wasn’t late at all maybe 8/9 pm they did not want to serve us but did so reluctantly. I have a service industry background so I still tipped accordingly no matter what even though it was not warranted

Perfect location if you’re looking to walk magazine street or St. Charles! 20 minute walk to canal st. The area was relatively relaxed which I enjoyed more than staying closer to Canal st. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Great location for our Endymion coronation ball located in the convention center. I enjoyed all of the World War II memorabilia. The room was very comfortable and it was easy to park. There are many restaurants in the area that you can walk to.

Stayed at Higgins due to convenient location to WWII museum. Basically it’s right across the street. Breakfast was fantastic albeit a little pricey but well worth it. Rooms and workout facility were great. Happy hour at the bar was excellent. Short walk to French Quarter about 10-15 minutes. Would definitely stay at this property in future.

This hotel was amazing. The only downside is that you pay $50 a night for parking. Other than that, it’s a 10 out of 10. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The food at Rosie’s bar was delicious.

Beautiful! Super friendly staff and hands down best beignets in NOLA (and I’ve been to ALL the tourist spots for those). It’s close enough to walk to French quarter or stay in magazine street area. Very safe. Would recommend even if you aren’t visiting WWII museum.

Restraraunts did not open until 4pm. Breakfast was terrible and pricey. The small store was also very pricey and not a lot of choice. $8 for a coke and bag of chips?

Hotel was great but food was so-so. You’re better off sampling the amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. Some notable standouts were April at Rosie’s and James the concierge. There was another Hispanic gentleman at Rosie’s that was also phenomenal but I didn’t catch his name. The Normadie staff seemed to be disappointed when you showed up for breakfast but very happy when you left. We ate there once because of the food quality and staff attitudes. You have to be careful if you have food allergies as the staff doesn’t seem to know what to do to assist you in finding something to eat that won’t cause a reaction. April was the notable exception…she was on it! Overall very nice place that needs restaurant work.

This property is very nice. You have to pay for parking deck and restraunts on property but it is well worth the money. Rosie's on the roof was really good with a beautiful view of the city.
