Only problem was only 1 elevator was working so was long wait other then that was all good

Great Hotel. The prohibition drink/salute was a huge hit. Classy styled hotel. Would stay again.

Valet parking is a must! $45 per day. Great people, super helpful, rooms are updated and nice.

Repeal Oak in the lobby is excellent. Parking kind of a hassle. I forked up for the valet and was glad i did for the extra $20. Hotel clean and adequate. Location perfect for the whiskey traveler.

Great hotel, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the Yum center. I did not like that we had to pay $30 for parking a block away or $50 for Valet. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is classy and well-maintained. It was a pleasure to stay there. And the Fitness facility was first-rate. well-equipped and well-maintained, a rarity with most hotel fitness facilities. I will definitely plan to stay there on my next trip to Louisville!

The location on whiskey row is primo. The staff was super efficient and extremely helpfull. The room was clean and up to date. The 7:33pm toast to the end of prohibition was kinda cool. The elevators making loud clanking noises was a bit unsettling but not terrible. All in all the hotel was oustanding. 10/10

Really clean hotel in a good location. Only problem is the site says they have onsite parking for $28 but they only have valet for $40 and has to be shorter than 7 foot vehicle. Small issue driving a truck.

Room didn't have a fridge. I did request one and it was delivered promptly. You also have to request ice which is a bit annoying. Parking is a pain. you basically have to either walk or Uber everywhere. The food is off the chain like a broken toilet. Best steak i've ever had.

Spent the weekend for our 37th Anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Everyone was so friendly, our room was very clean, the bed so comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Hotel Distil. It was very clear from the moment we walked in that the hotel is well managed. The front desk was welcoming and friendly. We were checked in quickly and to our room within minutes. The lobby sets the tone - sophisticated, but comfortable. The room we stayed in was terrific, modern but really comfortable - great view of Main St and yet quiet. Everything looked up to date and clean. The bed was very comfortable (could use more pillows though!). The bathroom was good sized and has a great shower. The restaurant Repeal (attached to the hotel) was equally great. Awesome bar and bartenders, the food was top level and service great - thanks Amelia! The hotel has a great vibe - lots of activity and they even had free old fashioned at 7:30 each night! The location is central to downtown - easy walking to distilleries and tons of restaurant choices. We felt very safe walking around. This is a hotel you must try - you'll know as soon as you walk how great it is.

We were very impressed with Hotel Distil. It is a beautiful hotel conveniently located on Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and clean. The food at Repeal restaurant is delicious and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!!!

We have several issues with our stay. Things not working in the room and issues with cleanliness. We reached out to the staff but we don't feel like our concerns were heard or that they tried to go above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. For the price I honestly expected better service. I feel like I could've stayed at a much more reasonably priced hotel and received the same effort. The restaurant service and food was excellent. The hotel decor was modern and up to date. I don't know if we would stay here next time.

Great location and loved the bar downstairs with exquisite cocktails! Room was a bit small but well appointed. Housekeeping staff were so on it refreshing the room everyday beatifully! Valet service was fast. We were so warmly greeted on arrival and felt well taken care of the whole stay.

This was the second time staying at the Hotel Distil. The first time was kind of magical - room with a view overlooking main street was so cool - the old facade and steel girders are a sight to see. We felt special as soon as walked in. Thats hard to beat. This time, I opt’d for a “city view” - it was pretty dull by comparison. The room was nice and clean, with a great shower and bathroom. The beds are a step above most hotels - very comfortable with supportive pillows! The Repeal restaurant attached to the hotel has an amazing bar with great bartenders. They offer suggestions and tailor the experience to you. The restaurant itself was nice. We had dinner one night and breakfast two days - food was delicious and service was good. The menu seemed limited and not very exciting. The Hotel Distil is a great place to stay when visiting downtown Louisville. The location is the best - with walking distance to so much. The hotel staff were helpful, engaged and all seem to like working there. That speaks volumes.

Perfect walkable location for downtown fireworks on the 4th. The only negative comment about the hotel is the size of the rooms. The rooms are really SMALL.

Great hotel in a greater location for everything Louisville. The room was a bit tight with luggage and awkwardlylaid out, but tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfortable.

On whiskey row, center of everything. Valet and initial drop off is quite tight outside. Staff seemed nice enough although we attended a rock festival and people side eyed us wondering if we really belonged. A little bit snooty in the check-in area both workers and clients. Food in restaurant was good but way overpriced. Nice hotel safe, clean, but way pricey and they love themselves - probably won't stay here again.

Overall, okay experience at the Distil, which is (supposed to be) an "upscale" Marriott property. The staff was courteous\xa0and helpful. A few items were bothersome, one being the small size of the room, and lack of feather pillows. I called down and the\xa0staff quickly sent one up though.\xa0 My wife complained that the bed sheets were scratchy and cheap feeling. I have to agree with her, and would add the matress was not the most comfortable. We stayed over on Thanksgiving. On check in, we had to ask for our breakfast vouchers, which were supposed to be part of the rate when we booked on Expedia. The helpful desk staff quickly gave us the vouchers, however.\xa0 We were told the room service menus were on the TV, but they weren\'t and we had to call down to have them sent up (printed out on a piece of plain office paper). That morning, we ordered breakfast\xa0to be delivered to the room. The food came up and was delivered completely uncovered. So my eggs were cool to the touch but the time the staff brought up the tray. The english muffin was served dry, but no butter was provided. And no salt and pepper for the eggs. I caught the staff person\xa0just in time and she came back with those items, but by now the food was pretty much cold. So, room service seems to be an afterthought here. I will say the menu was fairly priced with no exorbitant\xa0fees added. At check in we were warned\xa0that the valet may not be able to drive a manual stick shift when we check out. Sure enough, I had to go get our

Front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable; great room; great bath products from Guild Pepper, just a great stay overall. There’s a fantastic restaurant just a few doors down - Monks Road Boiler House - where we had dinner. Everything is recommended

Had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Distil. Great service, fantastic food and amenities, a luxury experience and clean facilities. I don’t have anything negative to say other than I think breakfast should be included, considering the price of the rooms.

we enjoyed the everything about the hotel from the fact they accommodated an early checkin to the over the top helpful staff. the overall feel of the hotel including styling and atmosphere made my wives birthday getaway a hit. also a special thanks to Meredith Hawley for going above and beyond.

Distil is in the heart of Whiskey Row. A short walk to lots of distilleries, dining options, bars, Louisville Slugger museum/factory, etc. Very nice, clean, modern hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Repeal dining is excellent but I recommend reservations especially for dinner. Not a lot of space for valet parking but we managed.

Liked the energy in the lobby and the terrific restaurant Repeal. Excellent location to attend concert at Yum Center

Right on Whiskey Row. A little pricey for a small room. We did valet parking. They were quick but adds another $41 or so to nightly bill. Restaurant had zero reservations available during our stay. But staff was great. Location is great. Lots to do nearby. Clean room. Nice hotel.

Wonderful hotel, we’ll be back! Staff was super friendly, rooms were clean and nice. Restaurant attached to hotel is a high end steak house and it was delicious. I highly recommend it.

The property was amazing! Walking distance to many distilleries, restaurants and bars. The staff was excellent and gave many great recommendations on things to do. We loved breakfast and dinner at Repeal.

Beautiful hotel with elegant, well designed and comfortable rooms. Repeal Restaurant in the Lobby treated us to our most memorable meals in Louisville. Their courtesy cocktail every night in the Lobby is a lovely touch.

It always seems like when I'm at Hotel Distil and sitting at the bar at Repeal, they are quick to cut you off or serve someone that walks up after doing last call around 10:45 even if there is a full bar plus people standing. It's weird to me. I think hospitality wise if it's still to that time, they could easily say,"I can fix you one. I don't know if that opens a can of worms or not.
