Super convenient location, so close to the bus stop straight from KIX airport and Kyoto station. The room itself is also very clean, super compact with everything you need. There are 5 laundry machine (surprised not too many people use them) so if you choose this hotel, I would only pack 3-4 days clothes… In the lobby, there are 4 checkout machines that you can also exchange bills and coins, everything is super convenient. Thank you!

Hotel is located 3mins from Kyoto station. Has luggage minding services for before you are checked in and after you checked out. 24hrs reception. All the amenities you could think of. Rooms are a tight squeeze for larger groups but this is in line with most Japanese hotels. Public bath if you are not shy. Small but great buffet breakfast.

Breakfast was amazing!! The line was long, so I recommend going early. Public bath was clean and nice. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. A bit of traffic noise at night though, but I used an earplug so it didn’t bother me. Overall, great quality!! I definitely recommend!!!

Keurig en modern hotel. Goede service, medewerkers waren zeer behulpzaam bij o.a. het tijdelijk stallen van gehuurde fietsen, het zoeken naar een (huis)arts en versturen van bagage. Onsen waren heerlijk. Ontbijt erg uitgebreid, zowel Japanse als westerse keuzes. Locatie is echt super: op loopafstand van Kyoto station, vlakbij winkelcentrum en aan overzijde van supermarkt.

Excellent hotel, the customer service is great and my room was very clean and quiet and beautiful. The location is very convenient also, literally just down the street from Kyoto Station. The area around the hotel was pretty chill, in spite of how close to the station it is. They have an onsen bath on the property. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. スマートクイーンルーム2名で宿泊しました。大浴場と露天風呂はとても気持ち良く、岩盤浴まで付いていて大変満足でした。部屋は狭めではありますが、清潔感あるお部屋でした。小さな机と椅子が２脚。ハンガーや軽い荷物を掛けるスペースはありますが、ちょっとした着替えや荷物が置ける棚がなく、床置きになってしまうのが気になりました。なので★4つにさせて頂きました。

These rooms are located above the hotel’s wastewater treatment area. The pump noise is constant and makes the terrace unusable—you won’t be able to leave the door open at night. I also encountered a loud, high-pitched whistling sound in both the 2nd and 5th floor corner rooms, caused by wind blowing through gaps in the sliding glass doors. Another guest had the same issue. The only workaround was wedging an object in the door frame to stop the sound. If you book a different room type, you’ll likely have a much more comfortable stay.

Number one thing that I liked about was the place was very close to kyoto station. The room was cleaned everyday. And the room was very quiet. But... the double bed was terribly small even for an asian couple and there was no place for make up.

The hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing but there was always a line to get in and up to a 30 min wait even at 730a. The public bath/ sauna was great after a long day of touring. My biggest complaint is that the room was so small and had no closet or drawers, barely room to walk.

Modern hotel a few minutes walk from Kyoto stn. but in a quiet road. Room was normal size for Japan so not a lot of space for opening cases and storing clothes. That seems to be the same at most japan hotels. Bed was comfortable and bedding was excellent.

We loved how convenient this property was in closeness to Kyoto station, places to eat, and shopping mall. We did one evening eat a meal at their restaurant and we enjoyed ourselves. The man who helped us check in spoke perfect English, which made it easy with dropping off our luggage before check-in and understanding the accommodations the hotel provides. They did have a “free drink” bar during the day with water, coffee, and cocoa. The room itself was nice. Obviously smaller than American hotels, but we had no issues with two large suitcases since we like to keep them closed up when not in use anyways. It is a little noisy at night being so close to Kyoto station, but we just turned up the fan because you truly can’t beat the convenience.

Everyone at the hotel was kind and helpful. We need help shipping our luggage and they arranged all of it for us. It started to rain while our stay and they had umbrellas for us to borrow. The hotel is beautiful and loctated so close to Kyoto Station.

Location, Location, Location. Once we figured out our bearings we were good-to-go. Short, short walk to main train station, Hop-On/Off bus tour. Everything you need. Nice public bath area if you’re into it and I’m into it. 10/10 Recommend…thx…y@
