SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Humble

I came down from Alaska to pick up a truck. Of course I planned to be here 12 hours and hit the road. Long story short, truck was not ready. Had to extend my stay by one day and then again by two days. Staff was SUPER nice and accommodating. Extended with no difficulty. Good price to value ratio and clean rooms with all the basics plus secure room safe with personal code (don’t forget to empty it when you leave), microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Security doors with key card access in the evenings. Breakfast was also a surprise! Scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa, sausage, bacon, waffles, white and wheat bread, jam, hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, pastries, butter, cream cheese, yogurt, granola bars, milk, tea, coffee, apple and orange juice, Sunkist Enhanced water. All in all an outstanding selection for a reasonable price and if you are traveling with family (say 4 people) you EASILY save more than the cost of the room by taking advantage of the breakfast! All in all a great location convenient to the IAH airport. I will definitely stay here again when here in the area!

The highway noise each night was very distracting. Didn’t stop either. Hotel and staff was nice. Pool would be nice too.

Our wonderful experience started when we arrived to early to check in. Our room wasn’t ready (which wasn’t an issue) so I asked if we could eat our lunch in their breakfast area. With no hesitation, the answer was yes. We were in town to see an Astros game and this hotel was very convenient to the stadium and apparently the opposite direction of where the crowd at the game was staying because we encountered minimal traffic after the game. This place is so clean. We stayed in room 312 that was a king bed with a sofa. Nicely decorated and well lit. Lots of space for toiletries in bathroom; nice towels too. We were a little concerned when we pulled up due to the fact there were some shady establishments in the area but seeing that the property had a gate all the way around it and at the front desk there were 20 security cameras we never felt unsafe. And you need your key for access. Breakfast was way above average. Everything looked fresh and the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly (not sitting in liquid like some other hotels). I drink decaf coffee and as soon as I asked if there was any the manager hopped up and made some. My only minor complaint would be that there was very little unoccupied space to put suitcases but I find this an issue at a lot of hotels. Stay here. You won’t regret it.

Room was clean and super cold upon arrival which was amazing since everywhere was hot outside. Hotel seemed pretty and updated, and had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and attentive and we had no issues with any of the amenities. Hotel room was as described. Free breakfast, although I did not eat at the hotel.

The first thing I noticed was the well-lit parking lot. When I walked in, the hotel smelled clean. My room was comfortable. The shower was the right temperature and water pressure for me. The breakfast was great too. The room was reasonably priced, and everything was great. I would definitely stay here again

Our first night our car was vandalize along with several other cars. Mysteriously the cameras wasn't working that night ,but worked fine days before and after. We had to get a police report for the incident. Officer advised us not to stay close to the interstate.

Friendly staff who arranged my stay perfectly. A safe gated location on a busy street, however my room was very quiet for me.

BEWARE!!! This hotel has bed bugs & the staff was not concerned at all!

This was my second time staying at the property. The room was not cleaned very well which was the issue the first time I stayed I did not report it because I was not in the mood to be moved plus I asked for the owner to contact me from the first stay and he never did. I will not stay here again. The staff did what they could but they need to hire better housekeepers to clean the rooms

Night employee was friendly and pleasant when we checked in. When we arrived in the room, it was freezing as the thermostatwas set at 60. No problem, because that was an easy fix. My husband entered the bathroom first to shower only to find pubic hairs on the floor outside of the shower. Once he opened the shower door, he found additional pubic hairs plus a plastic cup near the drain. We tried to overlook the lack of housekeeping since had a late flight in and had a long drive ahead of us the next day. Bed was a bit firm for our liking, but otherwise acceptable as the linens appeared clean and freshly changed. The next morning, we awakened and got ready to go down for breakfast only to find BUGS! Fitst, gnats around the bathroom sink. Then two ROACHES coming from the closet! There were also some long slender crawling bugs on the floor. We were disgusted!! We quickly dumped out our bags, shook off everything, and headed downstairs! We spoke with the morning employee downstairs to checkout. We informed her of the room condition and showed her photos. She could not have been less concerned!!! "I will have someone check out that room." Needless to say, we did not stay for breakfast and got the hell out of there.

Hotel was awful dirty bed had to remake it myself jackie or whatwver her name was very rude ! Not nice at all im traveling for medical they were very racist an profiled me as well never have i ever been trwated so poorly hote was so dirty someone elses hair all in the bed hadbto take ot of myself an remake itnim not the maid an it appearnt they dont have any that clean properly awful!

It was a terrible night of trying to sleep. The noise from the Highway and the air conditioner were more than I could sleep through. A long, restless night before having to be at IAH at 7am for flight. I kept thinking a helicopter was hovering above us only to realize it was the AIR CONDITIONER. It would start out ok, then increasingly get louder. I would not recommend this hotel unless it was the absolute last hotel available.

The hotel itself is nice, but it’s on a main highway so the road noise is really loud in your room. If the hotel was located differently I’m sure it would be fine. Also, there was no Wi-Fi for our stay. The shower, and beds were nice and it was clean.

Property is very nice. Close to airport. The walk- in shower and shower head was awesome. Our room was along the highway and the road noise was significant. Prefer cotton sheets to synthetics.

Clean room and facilities. Bed was so-so. Hotel was noisy, people talking or yelling loudly in the hallways. There was also a very loud and random popping sound that would wake me up. Could not figure out where it was coming from. For the money, I guess it was good. Would stay again since it was inexpensive.

This is a typical budget hotel. The free breakfast was pretty good, but it ends by 9am. They wanted to charge me a late check out fee to leave by 12pm. Seems a bit much considering the hotel is barely occupied The mattress I have to say, was really good! And that is one of the most important things to me. However, it’s unfortunate that the bedding (blanket) was so thin, that I felt cold half of the night. I eventually retrieved a blanket from my luggage that I used on the plane, just to get some more warmth. When I tried adjusting the room AC to accommodate the cold room, even one degree made the room hot. So I either had to keep it cold, or keep it hot. Other than that, the room was fine. I do wish they had coffee in the room.

The hotel overall was perfect, incredibly clean with friendly staff. Modern and nicely decorated. The only problem was the very loud highway noise that didn't let us sleep at night. Maybe rooms on the opposite side of the highway may be quieter.

Comfortable bed and good shower

This hotel is near the main highway hence it can be very noisy at night depending upon your room. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good. Hotel rooms look old and renovated.

Workers seemed annoyed or didn’t want to be there .

The staff was beyond rude. I got stuck in Houston due to a late flight and couldn’t get my rental car till morning. I needed a quick and easy place to stay. So I booked a room. The woman working the night shift refused to check me in even though I had an Orbitz confirmed itinerary. She was rude and unhelpful. Orbitz had to call her twice to get me checked in and one of the times she flat out hung up on them. She finally checked me in but was still unbelievably rude to me. I was shocked by her dismissive attitude to a paying customer. Don’t stay here. This was the worst experience I’ve had while traveling. It’s not worth dealing with the rude staff.

Requires $100 cash deposit. Didn't have the cash and was told to use the ATM. The ATM didn't work. Ending up calling the supervise and they put they charge the deposit on the credit card after arguing for 20 minutes. Never had to put a cash deposit on any hotel stay before.

We love this hotel! We stay here every year when we fly into Houston before driving to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. This time I forgot to book a handicap accessible room for my disable veteran husband and the lady working that night switched us rooms with no hesitation! The next morning we left in an Uber to our rental car (our driver got lost) & when we returned the guy at the front desk kept breakfast open for us even after 10!! I truly love everything about this place & hope they stay this amazing because we will continue to stay there!!

When I got there thet said I needed to put a $100 deposit in cash to assure that I would not smoke in the room. I said put it on my credit card and they insisted it must be cash. It was refunded to me at check out but if you are going to book a room be advised to bring cash. I travel a lot and no hotel has ever asked me for cash. The customer service was fine but really it is next to I-69 and not quite at all. The area is less than prime with a gas station and an adult store as neighbors. I would not stay there again.

The hotel is excellent for the price. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and have a good breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. The only concern I had was it’s right by the freeway. But at night the freeway was pretty quiet.

Close to airport. Easy access from car rental site. Good parking area. Breakfast better than average Continental breakfast. Room on opposite side from highway, hence quiet.

Overall very clean and super friendly staff. Felt safe although close to highway. Breakfast was decent, only issue was very thin duvet and too much perfume in room. I Could tell they were trying to mask a scent. Less than 10 minute drive from malls and shopping area, 20 minutes from airport and 30 minutes to downtown Houston.

This hotel is located in a questionable area. To the right, there’s an adult exotic store and an adult bookstore, while to the left, there’s a truck stop and gas station. The place has more of a motel feel. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the front desk was behind bulletproof glass, which made me uneasy, especially since I wasn’t familiar with the area. I instantly wanted to leave, but given the limited options and my short stay, I decided to stick it out. The room itself was clean but extremely basic. The bed was rock-hard, and the tiny, uncomfortable pillows left me with a sore back and neck the next morning. While the free breakfast was decent, the overall experience was disappointing. Despite being marketed as a "newer" hotel, it felt more like a Motel 8. The location is terrible and felt unsafe, and it was nothing fancy. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Book 2 rooms. Both set of Room Guests enjoyed a pleasant stay. Breakfast was a Huge Help. Very good with variety each day: Juice, coffee, tea, eggs, muffins, sausage, turkey sausage, bacon, buiscuits n' gravy, waffle maker, yogurt, oatmeal, Fresh Whole Fruit: oranges, apples, bananas and more. Room was clean, bed was comfy, area was safe. Free parking with wifi.
