Our room faced a busy road, so noisy. Heat was hard to adjust for good sleeping. All King rooms have TV at 90 degree angle to bed, which is not a great arrangement. Only 2 bath towels for 2 guests, amenities felt skimpy. Staff were good, BREAKFAST was OUTSTANDING. It was a very busy weekend, with lots of young athletes, but staff handled the traffic well. Electric chargers in parking lot are not functional, parking was safe and adequate, although numerous pickups and big trucks made parking a bit tricky.

Only cold breakfast was available due to a grease trap being broken. The pool was very cold. Other than those things, everything else was great. These things should be fixed because this hotel advertises these amenities and charges more than other hotels.

Bright property with lots of sunlight conveniently located to HW 99. Although the facility is fairly new, the furniture in the room and breakfast area is significantly stained. The pool and fitness center are first rate.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms. We stayed in an accessible room, the shower was fantastic. Just wish I bright my swimsuit for the heated indoor pool (which also has accessibility for elderly and disabled.

It was ok. The location is great, the staff is really nice. The breakfast is what’s to be expected. The lighting in the rooms is horrible. The pillows are lacking in any support and the beds are soft. The restaurant next door is very good. Not sure if id come back. Was grateful we were not facing the highway but the noise from the neighbors above and next to us was very loud and the doors are so heavy they all slam super hard and loudly. The shower is really weird. Fan was intermittent in the bathroom. Sometimes worked sometimes didn’t. But the gym, that was incredibly well kept and stocked with great equipment. It was a big toss up for us.

Contrary to my entry rating, we found a used wash cloth thrown over the shower stall, not located by cleaners. Would help to have a lamp by the lounge, very dark for reading if not in bed. Quick, efficient check in. Good variety of "eats" for breakfast. Clean elevators, hallways, etc. Friendly staff.

We stay at this Hampton often and love it. This visit felt a bit dirtier than usual. Room was dusty, couch had stains, and carpet smelled like wet dogs- not the norm. Staff is always friendly and complimentary breakfast is always enjoyed by my boys.

Stayed 2 nights and from the moment we walked in the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast area was clean, well stocked and staffed and had more choices than we anticipated. Would definitely stay here again.

Way too much plastic. No attempt to use recyclable or sustainable materials. So many items wrapped in plastic.. coffee cups, coffee making materials, cutlery. No sign of recycling bins. I accidentally spilled some water on the floor in the bathroom. When I wiped it off the rag was dirty as if the floor has not been mopped. Noisy traffic and mechanical noises made sleeping difficult. Not a restful stay.

This property is definitely the nicest place to stay if you’re visiting George Fox campus. The breakfast was very good. The bed was super comfortable and cozy. Everything was well-maintained and clean. On the improvement side… At least our room could use a detailed cleaning of the grout in the tile floors. I was a little surprised they didn’t have conditioner in the shower. That seems like a basic thing that’s always provided to the point where I don’t always bring mine. I also think they should have regular cream instead of just only sweetened cream or skim milk. We were on the street side and it was pretty noisy at most hours on the second floor. We do wear earplugs so it’s not a major problem. The front desk said they could provide a white noise machine so we might ask for that next time. Overall, I will definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Most Hampton’s are “older” but this one seems a bit more updated. Conveniently right on Hwy 99 but unfortunately that means street noise. If your room faces the highway you’ll hear everything, otherwise I did sleep fine. The King Suite is spacious and not much more expensive than a regular room. Breakfast is decent, and Generations Sports Bar and Grill right next door is great! Very friendly front desk staff. Any time I’m in Sherwood I stay here…

Nice property with excellent service, breakfast and comfortable rooms. The only dings I give them is for the lack of an office chair for the desk and no microwave in room. The chair provided was too low, well worn, and uncomfortable.

Great place to crash for 8 hours while visiting family in Sherwood. GREAT PRICE. Easy check in, friendly staff, decent coffee and some pastries in the morning. Had the king suite was very large, great bed. Only issue was the in room heater was one of those wall units that was very loud. Like having a giant fan noise all night. It woke me several times, it’s just not something i am used to. I’d probably stay again and thug it out, due to location close to my family. Otherwise I would probably stay at the Century or Grand in Bridgeport (and of course I’d end up paying significantly more)

LOVE Hampton Inns. Always consistently clean and accommodating. All the staff are a pleasure to interact with. My only complaint, and this is very common for hotel rooms all over, is the doors to each room SLAM themselves closed very loudly, even if you’re trying to be as courteous as possible and you have your hand on the door as it closes until it’s just inches from the door frame. If you don’t guide the door close gently all the way until you get a click from the lock, it will slam itself. The result is that if you’re trying to relax in your room you’re going to hear doors slamming and practically shaking the walls, because people just aren’t going to be THAT careful shutting their door.

Our room wasnt prepared for us, when we asked to be added to the housekeeping schedule they agreed. It didnt happen. Its just that things like cups, towels and waste basket liners were missing and when we asked to get them we were forgotten or ignored

My brother is in a care facility near the property. I stay here whenever I come to visit. Staff is always so welcoming and understanding, supportive and helpful. Much appreciated especially when dealing with a loved one with dementia.

Check in time is posted as 3p. When we arrived at 5:30p. to freshen up for a dinner engagement, we were told our room was not ready. We ended up using the restroom to freshen up. Staff was not sympathetic to our plight, offering room keys but that was all that was offered. After we returned, the room seemed clean enough however, the refrigerator had food still in it, and the only towels in the bathroom were two hand towels. When I called the front desk to find out the wifi password, I found the phone was unplugged from the wall. On checking out, staff was only concerned about what our room number was. No how was your stay, have a nice day or any other pleasantries. This was the same staff who supplied the missing bath towels with no apologies for the inconvenience and only wanted to know the room number. The place is nice but staff needs a little coaching on guest services.

Staff was very kind and friendly, making it a point to greet us as we came and went. The place was overall very clean and well taken care of. There were some very minor maintenance issues, but they were of the variety that could happen at any hotel (and that we have experienced at even nicer hotels) and we brought them to the staff’s attention; we left encouraged they would be swiftly addressed for the next visitors. My only complaint was the bed ended up being too firm for my liking, but that is such a subjective thing that it could be a perfect bed for another visitor. My only deterrent when considering a future stay here would be the gamble over the bed, otherwise every other facet of our stay was nice to great.

When we called the front desk to ask for more she was very rude and seemed annoyed by the request. After 45 and still no toilet paper we called again and got the same answer. Finally someone brought us what we asked for. The breakfast was cold, potatoes were soggy and they were out of creamer, butter and a few common items. Seemed like no one cared. We were there for 3 nights and they never restocked the items that they ran out of for breakfast.

The property was good and clean. The beds were very comfortable, and I am hard to please with beds. The staff were accommodating. The cooked breakfast was not so great, but it was varied and all fresh. Unless, of course, you like waffles and then I guess it would be wonderful - lots of variety for toppings.
