The property is located conveniently to everything! It’s very clean, large rooms! Bathroom has a hairdryer, counter space, and big mirror. The room has a Coffee maker, fridge, & Microwave. The bed is very firm! If you like a firm bed, you’ll love this!

My room was incredibly humid no matter how far down I turned the ac. It was truly unbearable. I had a ziploc bag of candy gummy’s that had moisture in the bag due to the extreme humidity. Never again.

The water pressure in our room was terrible. My wife and I had to take showers with a trickle of hot water. The TV would randomly stop working and I had to reset the cable box myself, but even then the channel guide wouldn’t open. Hotel looks okay on the outside, but it’s missing some details of being a good stay.

What I look for when I travel is: clean room, free breakfast, comfortable bed. The Best Western Plus Mid County exceeded expectations on all three. I'm ususally in the Golden Triangle at least once a year and this is now my go to hotel.

Hotel has horrible water pressure. Can barely wash shampoo out of your hair. Also the rooms have very harsh bluish fluorescent lighting like you might find in a hospital or high security prison. Very strange. On the other hand the property is super clean and in great shape.

I’m awaiting my deposit from 4/2/24 I checked out way on 4/4/24 called twice was told Manager wasn’t available it’s just unethical. I visit Port Arthur faithfully I’m born and raised anytime I check out Residence, Townsplace or Homes 2 Suites I’m refunded my deposit in 1-3 days. Bank even tried to call got nowhere as Paralegal in Texas I will not be returning again I don’t do half jobs fur clients I do caseloads timely.

Waited at the counter until the host showed up and he didn’t even say “hi thank you waiting” nothing just straight to “your id” booked two rooms and made me swipe my card twice for incidentals.

We were in Port Arthur, TX to attend a funeral. The staff at the Best Western was very nice and accomodating! They treated their guest the way one would expect to be treated when staying away from home. They did everything they could to giveus a at home feeling and was very sympathetic to the reasons why we were in the area! Thank you Best Western!
