Not worth it small restaurant gym old room

The AC was not working on the very first night of my stay. The maintenance person came in twice to fix it with little effect. I called the reception desk the third time and he snapped at me with “what do you mean it’s still not working?!” I asked to speak with a manager. I explained to the manager the situation and he kept justifying the receptionist’s rude response. I was finally moved to another room at 2 am in the morning after a 26 hour flight from Canada. The room was clean. The food was good with many options but was the same everyday which got boring. One of the people from the animation team who I had only met once briefly. He asked for my number to invite me to a party outside the hotel but I refused. Later that day, I was sitting with another guest at the billiard bar. He came over uninvited and squeezed himself between me and her and decided to “joke” by hitting my hand with the pool stick like it was a billiard ball while I had it resting on my knee. The chalk came all over my hand and pants. I whipped off my hand on him and he started yelling and threatening me and making a scene at the bar.

Very lovely resort, well groomed, staff are lovely people, breakfast is great.
