Couldn't go to my room until 1/2 hour after check in. The pool was cloudy. The slide for the playground was laying on the ground. Garbage outside was full. Room smelled and the shower curtain was extremely dirty! We didn't even stay because I was throughly disgusted!! Snack machine/deli was non existent and in a garage!!! Pictures on site is totally deceiving!! Do NOT stay at this place!!

I would definitely stay here, despite some issues. The house cleaning staff would walk by the room, I had to call for service. The windows had no screens, so much for fresh air. The room has a smell that most Wells motels share. But it was quiet, has a big pool, & it's in walking distance to both Maine dinner & Big Daddy's ice cream!

Very pleasant stay. Only thing was the parking lot became a little congested. We were unable to park in front of our room the second night because the people in the room next to ours had a giant truck which prevented us from using our spot. Fortunately, there was an open space two doors down.

The staff and hotel are ghetto, the rooms are dirty. Everybody there is drunk all day and harass the guests at night that is the first motel/hotel that I’ve ever been to that. I see staff clean while drunken and drugging and then sit outside all day with beer, cans, liquor bottles, and make noise till empty hours of night. The sheets are dirty. The towels are filthy. You cannot take a shower and use the towels and overall, there was no professional there to offer any courtesy or any professionalism if you don’t want to lose your money and be upset and be dirty and not have a comfortable bed to sleep in or a good bathroom to bathe then then go there if you want to feel like you are staying somewhere decent find somewhere decent the staff verbatim Lee told me that it was not a five star hotel and trust me it’s not even a half a star

When I first walked in there was a musty smell. Which turned out to be mold in the bathroom ceiling that was falling apart. The sheets on the bed were dirty didn’t even look like they were washed so I had to ask for new ones.The ac unit was from like 1920 blowing dust everywhere and hardly worked.overall I would never go back there

What an adorable vintage motel! I truly felt like we had stepped back in time; to maybe 1967. Our check-in process was quick and easy. The lady who assisted us was very friendly as she handed us an actual key! We walked past a white picket fenced pool to our room. As we entered our wood-paneled room, the bedspread reminded me of my grandmother’s home. We folded back the spread to reveal a fuzzy green blanket, another relic from my childhood. Upon further exploration, we discovered baseboard heating and an AC wall unit. What a surprise to learn the the king-sized bed was the most comfortable place we’ve slept all week. The cleanliness was a 10, not a speck of dust anywhere! And for food, there is a lovely diner just a few steps away.

We stayed there two weekends while working a local event. The first night we stayed there, there was no soap, shampoo, or even plastic cups. I brought my own soap, thankfully, but the second day, when they serviced the room, they finally gave us tiny soaps, tiny packets of shampoo, and cups… and they threw away my bar of soap. The bathroom window had a see-through lace curtain, making us feel exposed. The uncarpeted floor was dirty, and I had to brush off my feet before getting in bed. The second weekend we got a different room, this one carpeted, and the bathroom window was very dirt, with no curtain at all. The TV wasn’t working and I had to call twice before someone came and fixed it. Both weekends the beds were very firm, and very uncomfortable, and there was only a thin sheet covering the mattress. I understand that this is a low-cost motel, which is why I booked it, but one would hope it is at least clean, and the beds comfortable.

Run down, little to no heat on a night in the 40’s. Cheap, hard mattress and barely stuffed pillows. Had a weird old musty/moldy smell. Drapes partly hanging off A broken rod that wouldn’t allow them to remotely close all the way (huge window right on ground level) weak ass Wi-Fi that constantly cut out. I will say for what it was it seemed clean and had shockingly high water pressure in the shower. Not so much in the sink or toilet though. Little to no lighting outside. I was looking for a cheap, minute room so, whatever, it was what it was.

the property needed total update . the room had a awful musty smell even though the window had been open. nobody gave us wi-fi info. the towels in the bathroom looked dirty due to age (greying in colour). The carpet was kinda sticky couldn't walk on it with bare feet. The TV had one channel and the remote didn't seem to work anyway. no tea /coffee in he facility. noise from the fridge kept us awake when we finally did g et sleep we were woken 3 times in the night by a train horn

For an inexpensive room it was good . Except fot the mattress. It is very uncomfortable. Our neighbor in the next room has a terrible smokers cough and a steady stream of male visitor that leave the trucks running and talk loud. The plus side is we learned all the juicy gossip about Wells, ME lol.

Train goes by multiple times a day with horn. The rooms are not well soundproofed, and it's a very noisy road. The wifi was awful. Very outdated and the bathroom was constructed strangely (toilet close to wall and sliding bathroom door). Very old microwave and mini fridge needs to be defrosted. Property needs some renovations badly, but is fine for the price. Come prepared, or hit the dollar tree to add some comfort to your stay.

The check-in clerk was very friendly. However, my room had a lot left to be desired. The tv didn’t work, the curtains were falling off of their broken rod, I had no phone in my room, the wifi didn’t work, and I had ants in my room.

I booked via hotel.com. Two rooms. Paid for the first night of each. Was told at check in that it was impossible because they don’t do that. I had proof that I paid but still had to pay the full weekend. Frustrating. The women was extremely rude. Too bad. Place was cute but definitely will NEVER stay there again because of her.

We were not able to check in because they told us that they didn’t receive the payment from Expedia. I had my receipt from Expedia but they did not even look at it. Now I have to go through my credit card charge from april to find out what happened. Stay away. They just throw us out very rudely at ten o’clock….. luckily for us we were able to find a house in Old Ochard.

Stranded in Maine. Expedia shows reservation is active and paid. Owner refused and said reservation was cancelled. Expedia said it was cancelled an hour earlier, does not know how and will not help. After talking a bit more I was put on hold and abruptly hung up on.
