10/10 From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted and checked in. The hotel was clean, the room was nice, and the Bar/ Happy Hour was right on time. I visited the bar and restaurant throughout my stay, and the service was great. The location is moments away from the metro and in the middle of a lot of shops and restaurants.

Check in was a breeze. Dinner at IndoChen was very good (excellent wine list and bar) but the ambiance was subpar. Noisy. No atmosphere. Location is great. Easy check out. Room could use more storage/closet space.

100% Recomended. Right where you need to be on King Street. This is the street that all the restaurants and shopping is. The metro station is just 1 block away. The free King Street trolly and Dash Bus goes thru every 15 minutes. The hotel only offers valet parking for about $45 daily. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel and rooms were very clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby.

Great hotel enjoyed our stay! Staff was amazing. First time staying in the area was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Took the trolley to the waterfront had a great time overall. Only wish the parking wasn’t $40 per night and room was just a bit smaller than expected. But will definitely be staying here again

Great location. Walkable. Easy check in and check out. Staff was outstanding, very professional, friendly, very helpful in responding to your requests quickly. Room was 1 king bed, clean, bed was comfortable, but room was a little small. Some items for improvement -- 1. needs more hanging space for clothes, 2. needs mini refrig and microwave. 3. Ice machine on each floor. Customers should not have to go to the lobby to ask staff for ice or to use the 1 microwave in the lobby. 4. there should be an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Large Lobby. Beautifully designed. Heard the Indian Restaurant on site was good but it closed at 9 pm, so wasn't able to experience. Bar also closed early and I was there on a Friday.

We’ve stayed at this Hyatt several times. Is very convenient. There is a trolley stop directly out front for the free trolley that runs up and down King Street. There is a parking garage within walking distance that is around $20 a night.

The biggest concern we had with our room was cleanliness. There was a lot of dust in bed frames and a splatter of what we could only assume was feces on the wall behind the bathroom door (that splatter was there when we got there). We also only received room cleaning two days during our 6 night stay. We had to request the front desk that our room was cleaned.

The place is fine, but it would be nice if the cleaning staff cleaned the room daily. Running out of coffee and having an unmade bed to welcome me at the end of the day wasn't what I would think of in a hotel. There was also some gas-like smell every once in a while in the room.

The cleanliness of the hotel is top notch. Every staff member SMILES and is pleasant and helpful. Our favorite is Cadia at the front desk. She was able to change our room to a quieter room, provide us guidance on parking and directed us to a cute diner walking distance to the hotel if we were out late. It has been a good stay and we would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area. The hotel is a couple of blocks to the Metro so getting in and out of DC is a piece of cake!

Our rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The location was perfect for walking Old Town ! And although we were right on King St the rooms were very quiet so ideal for sleeping. The hotel staff were all very friendly and professional. Crystal was wonderful and shared important information about the area , parking, restaurants etc. We only had one night but want to return for another visit to take advantage of the proximity to the metro so we can explore the DC area as well as the free King St trolley which runs frequently and all the way down to the river .

I have been excited to try this hotel, which is only a few years old, for awhile now but was highly disappointed in the condition of the hotel. The lobby lounge chairs were detained and soiled, the first room I was given had a huge brown stain in the carpet. The comforter on the bed was ripped. No ice machines on each floor. Super overly priced and burnt food from the on-site restaurant. I was super disappointed with my stay 🙁

The hotel is kept well and in working order. The only issue I find is that it’s still hanging on to the old and expired “because of covid” excuse for omitting proper housekeeping. The lady at check-in informed us that room cleaning was upon request. Meanwhile their savings are not passed on to the final hotel bill; nor are any of the employees wearing masks “because of covid” so their excuse is not consistent. Other hotels are back to normal so I will make sure to ask about this policy next time I book anywhere.

The hotel is generally nice and clean, with helpful staff. Unfortunately, our room was very close to the elevator, and it was quite noisy. We could clearly hear conversations and other noise from the hallway. I had requested a room away from the elevator in my reservation notes, but perhaps the hotel was fully booked. Placing towels over the large gap between the door and the floor didn’t do much to block the sound. Fortunately, I always travel with earplugs, so it was manageable.

The Hyatt Centric is in an ideal location. Close to the Metro but still quiet. The rooms are extremely small with limited to no space for luggage, so pack light. The bathroom, although small, had ample storage for toiletries. Rooms had a safe, fridge, and Kerig. The bed was AWFUL! I don't think I have ever slept on anything that uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to leave just so we could have a decent nights sleep. Housekeeping was quick and efficient. Valet was quick as well. The front desk staff seems to try, but the Front Desk Manager (Nathan) has a terrible attitude and should never be in a customer facing position ....EVER! Not only was he rude and inappropriate to me, but I witnessed his same "bothered" demeanor with other guests. With all the other hotel options in the area, there is no reason to stay at the Hyatt Centri.

Everything about the hotel was fabulous. Except the noise. The family in the room next to mine had kids screaming, parents yelling and the soundproofing was non-existent. I heard every single word even when they weren’t yelling.

Excellent staff, clean and safe. My only complaint is the design of the bathroom door which is a sliding door. I've learned my lesson- I will ALWAYS ask about this before booking from now on. The sliding doors on a bathroom don't work for me. They don't offer total privacy and they don't lock. That's major points off. We won't be back. Everything else was fine so if that doesn't matter to you then go for it, bc otherwise it was very nice.

You guys lied to me and screwed me out of money. On hotels.com, it says there is a $50 hold per day. When I went to check in, I was told it’s $100 per day and the website was “wrong” Thus left me short of money for my vacation. And now, the hold still hasn’t been taking off my account. This is deceitful and unprofessional. I would have never stayed at this hotel if I knew that I had to pay extra money per day

The cleanliness of the hotel is top notch. Every staff member SMILES and is pleasant and helpful. Our favorite is Cadia at the front desk. She was able to change our room to a quieter room, provide us guidance on parking and directed us to a cute diner walking distance to the hotel if we were out late. It has been a good stay and we would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area. The hotel is a couple of blocks to the Metro so getting in and out of DC is a piece of cake!

Our rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The location was perfect for walking Old Town ! And although we were right on King St the rooms were very quiet so ideal for sleeping. The hotel staff were all very friendly and professional. Crystal was wonderful and shared important information about the area , parking, restaurants etc. We only had one night but want to return for another visit to take advantage of the proximity to the metro so we can explore the DC area as well as the free King St trolley which runs frequently and all the way down to the river .

100% Recomended. Right where you need to be on King Street. This is the street that all the restaurants and shopping is. The metro station is just 1 block away. The free King Street trolly and Dash Bus goes thru every 15 minutes. The hotel only offers valet parking for about $45 daily. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel and rooms were very clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby.

10/10 From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted and checked in. The hotel was clean, the room was nice, and the Bar/ Happy Hour was right on time. Enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Centric Hotel. Wish the lounge at the restaurant was opened beyond 9:00 p.m. The selections of foods, drinks, etc. in the lobby could have been more extensive. Loved the room and bathroom, very, very clean.

I have been excited to try this hotel, which is only a few years old, for awhile now but was highly disappointed in the condition of the hotel. The lobby lounge chairs were detained and soiled, the first room I was given had a huge brown stain in the carpet. The comforter on the bed was ripped. No ice machines on each floor. Super overly priced and burnt food from the on-site restaurant. I was super disappointed with my stay 🙁
