Perfect location, parking garage and service made our two day visit wonderful. Hotel is a five minute walk from all historical sites and busy streets but has a nice peaceful patio for breakfast and drinks after arriving from old town. Hotels side of the town has also nice restaurants. For example Floret is just behind the hotel.

Property was lovely with clean, comfortable rooms and a lovely veranda to sit and have a drink or your breakfast which was included with the room. Parking was very easy as the lot was a couple doors down from the hotel. Hotel is very conveniently located and all sights within Florence were walkable. The only complaint we had was after the maid cleaned our room they left the clean towels sitting on the bidet, we thought that a bit strange. Very nice hotel.

I had to find a last-minute place to stay given a meeting nearby and then a hotel surprised me With its beautiful Terrace and a room with a view across the Arno river. Extremely friendly and accommodating service. A beautiful breakfast buffet that was included with pastries, the fabulous cappuccino machine and the freshest fruit.

Great location, only 10 minutes walk from the Vecchio Palazzo and mostly unaffected by the (2024) ZTL (in case you arrive by car). The staff was mostly helpful and the breakfast was very tasty. Small negatives: (1) Parking around is not easy and quite expensive, so make sure you pre-book with the hotel; (2) Breakfast buffet is rich, but doesn't get replenished. Once item are gone, they are GONE. However, coffee machine makes great cappuccino; (3) would be good if the hotel had a water dispenser available 24/7.

A glorious find. The hotel is a wonderful location, just across the river which provided a lovely stroll to the busier parts of the city. A beautiful historic building - my room was spotless and quiet - the bed was very comfortable. There is a living room and coffee, tea and pastries are supplied. The breakfast is fabulous - something for every dietary requirement and taste. Staff are friendly- I will stay here again.

I was traveling with others who booked the same type of room and had much larger accomodations. For $350 a night, I was not pleased. Also, the A/C was turned off for the year, so I had to open windows and get bitten by mosquitos or boil to death. Food was good, front desk was average, but didn't care about the room temperatures.

We had a really good time and would stay again. The Staff was really nice and very accommodating. Helping us get to the airport and getting our bags to the rooms. The only issue we had was their A/C doesn't work until June (which got stuffy in the room even with the window open). Their towels are very ruff. We also did put on the door outside not to come in the room while we were out. The rooms feel very safe with magnetic doors. Their breakfast was very good. The staff was able to speak English with no issues. Very good location. Very close to everything you want to walk too.

Room was very clean, and breakfast was very good. Room is extremely small, and the bathroom was too small to maneuver in (and I\'m 5\'11", 155, so I\'m think and flexible, but still banged into everything in the bathroom). The towells are paper thin, literally more like a thick bed sheet. Location is OK, not terrific. Desk monitor was ok, not particularly friendly. I definitely would not stay in this hotel again!!!

I booked a premium triple room through Expedia but they put me in a standard double (no chair or couch to sit on - only a double bed in the room). When I asked if a larger room or better river view was available on a higher floor, I was told I would have to pay an additional 50€ per night. I declined but they ended up billing me the full amount quoted by Expedia for the premium triple room, which I did not realize until after checking out. Consequently I ended up paying close to double what I should have been charged. Very disappointing. Otherwise we liked the hotel and the location. Clean, well decorated and with a very nice breakfast service. The only other negative was thin walls/floors made the noise from other rooms/floors a bit disturbing.

The air conditioning unit did not work. The second night we slept with 2 fans. They moved us to another "Premium" room on the third day and again we had no control on the air conditioning unit. It's obvious that they have full control of it. Also, one can hear the foot steps of the above room at 12:30am. They said they couldn't do anything about it. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel and was quite disillusioned.

Hotel Silla is a hidden gem a short walk from the historic center of Florence. The staff are professional and the rooms are wonderful. A delicious breakfast is included and we took advantage of it every day. Laura and Massimo at the front desk will help you with all your needs. I will stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located to restaurants and shopping centers, but due to the construction going on, there were detours in the bus route. Our room is clean, spacious, well maintained and complete with amenities. Breakfast has options to choose from, delicious! Staff are nice and friendly.
