Globus Urban Hotel is in a fantastic central location—perfect for exploring Florence on foot. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making our stay smooth and welcoming. We booked “the apartment”, which was spacious and comfortable, though it is located up two flights of fairly steep, uneven stairs. It’s worth noting for anyone who might find carrying luggage to the 2nd floor a challenge. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise: simple, not extravagant, but with very good quality. I especially appreciated the thoughtful gluten-free options. The staff in the breakfast room were attentive and kind, adding to the overall positive experience. I stayed in Florence during a heatwave and the hotel was super cool and the air con in my room was perfect. I had a slight problem with the loo running (water) but they fixed it straight away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of gluten free and alternative milk options. Can recommend.

Everything was good, staff was very helpful and very friendly, but the problem is the no parking on the hotel area or near, but everything else was great staff and amenities.

Renovations were nice. Only 1 or 2 people with luggage can squeeze into the elevator. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Beds were somewhat comfortable. Cold A/C. However the ceiling unit in our room dripped water onto the floor while running. We just put some towels on the floor. Great front desk staff and service. We asked for ice and they went to the bar(it was closed) and got it for us. Convenient location to the train station and to the central market. Second time we have stayed here

Brilliant hotel, very close to all the sites in Florence. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Only downside would be the bar wasn't open on the evening and there was some renovations taking place that we wasnt aware of, but would recommend staying here!

This hotel is located steps away from the train station and all the sites in the old district. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are great. The AC didn’t work and that is why I gave it four stars. However the location is amazing!

Literally feels like a home away from home. Staff are also so kind and helpful, the hotel is modern in a historic city and very walkable from Santa Maria Novella train station and the major sites around town. The room was very clean and bathroom was very spacious. The hotel offers breakfast which had a good spread and if you’re an early riser or need to get to the airport early they have to go breakfasts before 6am. Be warned if you have large suitcases there’s a lot of cobble stone in Florence so you may have to pull your luggage around but once we checked in staff brought it into our room when ready (if you’re there before check in). Elevators/lifts are a little small for 4 people and adults, 4 adults max but the stairs are wide to allow room if you’re on a lower level floor

The staff were really helpful, allowing us to drop off bags early and printing off boarding passes for our flight the next day. Whilst the facilities are limited, no restaurant or bar, the surrounding area offers everything you'd need in this respect. The upstairs of the nearby Mercato Centrale offers brilliant choices and quality of food. Ideally located a short walk to the train station and the main sites of Florence, this hotel is a good jumping off point for a short stay.

Wir haben unsere Aufenthalt von 21.11 bis 26.11 in der Hotel Globus Urban gehabt. Ein kleiner und sehr saubere Hotel. Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit am meisten möchte ich mich bedanken bei Nicola er war sehr nett und hat uns gezeigt was können wir sehen wo wir gutes Essen bekommen und vieles weitere. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Zimmer sind jeden Tag gereinigt worden. Frühstück war sehr ausreichend und vielfältig die Damen am Frühstück waren auch sehr freundlich. Ich würde weiterempfehlen das Hotel und mit Sicherheit wenn wir irgendwann wieder nach Florenz kommen werden wir hier buchen. Danke das ihr unsere Aufenthalt unvergesslichen gemacht habt. This hotel has a good location and appears to have been remodeled recently. It was clean, but the rooms felt smaller and not as spacious as other hotels we’ve stayed at. Still, it wasn’t too bad overall. The area is quiet, and the hotel is conveniently close to the train stations and the cathedral.

Let me start out by saying the only reason I didn't give a 5-star review is because the Wifi was weak and dropped out all the time, which was frustrating, and for some reason the volume on the TV was so low it was almost unusable. I stayed here in March of 2024 with my family of 4. We stayed in one of the apartments which is next door to the actual hotel entrance. The apartment was very large. It was a one bed, one bath unit with a separate living room and kitchen. I think it was a little over 600 square feet total. My kids slept on the pull-out couch. It was clean, the kitchen was stocked well enough with pots, pans, dished, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and oven so you could cook some meals instead of eating out all the time. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Very good selection and delicious. Otherwise, there is a small supermarket just around the corner where you could get groceries to make your own or, on the same street as the supermarket, are countless restaurants and cafes. The hotel is about three blocks from the train station which made it very convenient when lugging your luggage and your family through the streets of Florence. The location was great. The staff at the hotel was excellent in every respect. The only bad was the Wifi in the apartment was a little spotty. It might be different if you are in one of the single rooms in the main hotel. If this doesn't concern you then consider this a 5-star review.

Booking: we were warned about rooms being small, but smaller than expected, and so limited in space that one had to walk in baby steps as to not run into something. You had to be a contortionist to use the bidet. . . . . You need to be small to stay there!

The hotel is in an excellent location for walking, siteseeing, eating and shopping. The outdoor market stalls are literally around the corner from the hotel as is the Cathedral and many many sights to see. There are restaurants and cafes everywhere and leather shops galore. Florence is a shopper's paradise. The hotel room was exceptionally large (we had 2 double beds) with plenty of space for luggage etc. Bathroom was a dream, fully equipped with everything, plus. Absolutely no room complaints at all and bed was one of the most comfortable we'd stayed at in Europe. Breakfast was good with plentiful options to chose from. The only down side to our stay was the WI-FI was down all weekend of our 2 night stay. This was very inconvenient, as international travelers, with issues enough with cell phones anyway. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

The staff is friendly, breakfast is okay; however, the walls are paper thin (you hear everything) and for that reason, I would not recommend staying here; unless noise while trying to sleep does not bother you. Another con would be the tiny room we had. There was no space for luggage and the bathroom was micro. My husband and I felt like we were on a cruise ship.

The hotel describes the rooms as soundproof which was not my experience. I could clearly hear conversations of people in neighboring rooms. Also, the sounds of nearby room doors closing was loud and disturbing and occurred at all hours of the day/ night. The beds and particularly the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. That being said, the location and front desk staff were hard to beat. The hotel is an easy 10-15 min walk to most places. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Clean rooms. Very friendly staff and go out of the way to make you feel welcome - we came for the Florence marathon and they started breakfast early and gave us a room for shower afterwards with extra drinks

Front desk (Dina) and staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. It was storming so we came back to the hotel soaking wet! Dina and her team made sure we got dry and warm. They even let us hang around (we already checked out!!) Marvelous customer service! Thank you!!

Location is good, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room is spotless and modern. Breakfast was great too, with plenty of fresh fruits, pastries and cooked breakfast items with fluffy pancakes. Hand written card with a little gift of Tuscan biscuits was a lovely personal touch. We enjoyed our stay.

This was the best hotel we stayed in while in Italy. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Giovanni at the front desk was extremely helpful as we needed to find certain places and he knew exactly where we needed to go. If we ever go back to Florence this would be the hotel we would stay in .

The front desk staff was wonderful 5 stars, the room I was in was noisy. I stayed in multiple hotels in Italy throughout my stay all of the beds were uncomfortable and pillows that were practically non existent this hotel included. The breakfast was decent even if the lady serving the breakfast gave me attitude about asking for a coffee with 10 minutes before it technically ended. I checked in and immediately the power went out for nearly 2 hrs.

The hotel is in an excellent location for walking, siteseeing, eating and shopping. The outdoor market stalls are literally around the corner from the hotel as is the Cathedral and many many sights to see. There are restaurants and cafes everywhere and leather shops galore. Florence is a shopper's paradise. The hotel room was exceptionally large (we had 2 double beds) with plenty of space for luggage etc. Bathroom was a dream, fully equipped with everything, plus. Absolutely no room complaints at all and bed was one of the most comfortable we'd stayed at in Europe. Breakfast was good with plentiful options to chose from. The only down side to our stay was the WI-FI was down all weekend of our 2 night stay. This was very inconvenient, as international travelers, with issues enough with cell phones anyway. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

My stay at the Globus Urban Hotel fit my needs perfectly. It was close to the train station. My room was clean. The staff was friendly and suggested a wonderful restaurant Trattoria Za Za that was excellent and only a short 2 min walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in Florence during a heatwave and the hotel was super cool and the air con in my room was perfect. I had a slight problem with the loo running (water) but they fixed it straight away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of gluten free and alternative milk options. Can recommend.

The check in process was wonderful!! The concierge even gave us a map and highlighted different places to check out and where they were located in proximity of hotel. Complimentary breakfast was also included that had a good variety for everyone to enjoy!! The A/C was good, the TV however was a smart TV and not set up very user friendly. Overall 9/10 :)
