Beautiful hotel, in an excellent location. Walking distance to main sights in Vienna. Recommend. Great spa facilities. There is a swimming pool - while the water is slightly cold in my opinion, once you get into the pool it is very refreshing. Amazing pool. Loved and enjoyed my stay here.

Very nice hotel, but it has some construction difficulties. For example: to get to the pool' you have to get up to 7th floor walk a lot and then get down to -1 floor. Not a very good if you are wet from the pool...

What a wonderful space to spend a few days in. It's beautifully designed, full of interesting art, and very convenient for all the galleries, museums, and restaurants that we wanted to visit. We loved our extremely comfortable room, the breakfasts, the bar, and the pool and gym. We had a meal in the dining room on Valentine's Day and that was also excellent. Best thing about the place, however, was its friendly, helpful, very efficient staff. They made a great stay even better.

Lifts are a bit querky. To get to the Spa you have to go to the seventh floor then take a lift to the basement! Spa pool also quite small. On the upside staff and food are great.

What a fabulous hotel! The location was great, right next to a tram line, a bus line, and a short walk to one of the underground stops. To get to the airport , we just walked about 10 minutes to the S7 train. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The room was very spacious and updated with a very comfortable bed and pillows, plus plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also quite large and had great towels and bathrobes. The pool and spa area, as well as the gym, were very nice. The hotel was about 5-10 minute walk from the historic city center and St. Stephen's Cathedral, which is a must-see in Vienna.

Honestly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The staff really made my stay special, especially it being my birthday. The room was gorgeous and clean. Everything I needed, the staff provided, they were so friendly and really wanted to help. I cannot fault this hotel and will definitely be back!

Superb location, in close proximity to opera house, museums quarter, main cathedral, two Christmas markets, subway, in other words very convenient for walking everywhere. The hotel amenities were all renovated and in excellent condition. The kindness and attention to detail from the concierge ( Florian) , front desk staff , cleaning staff and other helpers was impeccable. The room was touched twice a day to make sure for absolute comfort before retreating for the night. The pillow spray was a nice touch too. Can’t say enough good words about this hotel

The perfect hotel to stay in Vienna city centre - the hotel is immaculate, all of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel is within walking distance to most attractions and has a tram stop right outside for everything else. The hotel staff really went above and beyond to give us a memorable stay, I really can't recommend the Alamanc Palais enough.

En general le falta para llegar a las 5 estrellas. La habitación era grande y la cama cómoda, la ubicación excelente, cerca del centro, en una calle tranquila. El personal es muy amable. Puntos negativos, la limpieza de las habitaciones es pobre, nos dejaban restos de bebidas y comidas del día de anterior, no nos respetaron el cartel de no molestas y entraron en la habitación a media tarde. La carta del servicio de habitaciones es escasa y mala. En definitiva, no se corresponden las estrellas y el coste.

The property itself it’s nice the rooms are comfortable and location is good. The staff doesn’t look very professional. The housekeeping was very poor, they don’t change towels and they don’t provide clean glasses… very unfortunate for the hotel owner. They need to improve the staff quality. I’ll definitely not coming back and I don’t recommend this hotel.

This beautiful hotel is on the edge of the Innere Stadt and within easy walking distance of the Hofburg, St. Stephen’s, and the Opera, so there’s tons of restaurants and shopping around! The rooms themselves are also beautiful and fully automated. We were upgraded to a suite, which was amazing. The integrated shower and tub were awesome. Highly recommend!

It’s a great hotel. Unfortunately our rooms airconditioning took several hours to cool the room down. Also the fridge contained Luke-warm drinks - I like my beer cold! They also have an annoying contact system; if you want something you can only contact reception through WhatsApp and it can take several minutes to get a response. Annoying if they’ve forgotten to provide towels and you’re wet out of the shower!

5 nights stay in a deluxe room. The service at the hotel was absolutely excellent. The hotel location is great. The bed and bed linen were lovely. The best thing was that you could wake up on your own schedule and the cleaning team wasn't knocking on the door before 10am. I would have liked a full-length mirror in the room. There was none. I was also not a fan of the smart control panel. Sometimes the ordinary things are more user-friendly.

Plus the bathroom toilet is extremely close to the bed and with frosted glass you can hear and see pretty much everything. Not great if you need to do a number two! Also leaving the elevator you have to walk through the breakfast buffet which must be quite weird for the eating guests.

One of the best, if not best places we have ever stayed, and we are frequent travellers. Beautiful, modern, luxurious, and exemplary service level. Super king beds for my 6”3 height, very large towels, and breakfast up to 2pm which is delicious. Greeted with champagne, spoken to with respect and general sense of happiness and appreciation. Wonderful experience and walkable to everything with 6 restaurants right behind hotel. Safe anytime of the the night. Thank you Almanac Palais!

Our stay at the Almanac Palais was sort of a mixed bag. Plusses: junior suite was spacious, generally very quiet, bed one of the most comfortable we've ever had at a hotel, and rain shower had great pressure. Minuses: Though very friendly, the service was hit or miss. Housekeeping knocked several times despite "do not disturb" light and door hanger. Room cleaning was never the same twice--always a different number of new towels would appear, sometimes the staff would remove and restock coffee and sometimes not, etc. Front desk: On a Wednesday afternoon we asked them to make a restaurant reservation for Friday night. Checking back Thursday, we found they had forgotten and so asked again. The concierge only tried to make the reservation on Friday at midday, by which point there were no tables available. Not a good look! Prepaid breakfasts were shockingly subpar, and I wouldn't bother paying again for them. The first two days, we were told breakfast ended at 10:30 (because of a conference, perhaps). Checking back Thursday, we found they had forgotten and so asked again. The concierge only tried to make the reservation on Friday at midday, by which point there were no tables available. Not a good look! Prepaid breakfasts were shockingly subpar, and I wouldn't bother paying again for them. The first two days, we were told breakfast ended at 10:30 (because of a conference, perhaps). My luggage was damaged, and the lock was stuck, but he was extremely helpful and patient in assisting me with the issue. His professionalism and kindness truly stood out. What’s not to love about the Almanac? It’s in a perfect location - walkable to shopping, sites, Christmas Markets, restaurants/cafes and public transport. The staff are amazing. If you have any questions about Vienna - see Florian (head concierge) - he goes above and beyond for guests! The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. You can adjust the lighting, temp, curtains to your liking. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. It was fantastic!

Check in staff was fantastic! Florian was great as were all other employees! Curtains had some issues getting off their tracks. Restaurant staff extremely responsive and friendly!! Coffee in room needs to be stronger. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a mostly terrible experience during our stay. At check in we were told our room would be ready in five minutes and that the staff was just double checking it was ready. At that point, I let the staff know that I had a fine dining reservation in an hour, and I asked if that was truly the case because of my time constraint and they assured me it we be five minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked the staff if our room was ready and then they proceeded to tell me the same exact story that it'd be ready in 5 minutes. After an additional 30 minutes, our room was ready. During our waiting time the staff insisted that we let them take the our luggage so they could place it in the room for us so that as soon as it was ready the luggage would be there. When we got to the room our luggage was not there after numerous staff members told me it was already there. We we're already late to dinner and we didn't have our luggage to get ready. Once our luggage arrived we realized there was no iron in the room, which I had to go downstairs to get because at this hotel, they don't answer calls from the suites. I only was able to get room service to pick up once during my stay. I even had to go downstairs to order room service on my last morning. Also, while I was in search of an iron the cleaning crew entered the room unannounced while my girlfriend was getting ready which is totally unacceptable. In addition to many more issues I had with service, the staff does not seem genuine.

The hotel was wonderful and location was great. Customer service was disappointing for such a beautiful establishment. We had emailed in advance requesting early check in and we were told that was fine and arranged. When we arrived the staff were disorganised and rude. The room wasn’t ready and when I mentioned the email I was told it’s not a guarantee. This wasn’t what my email said. Overall staff were not friendly or willing to help. The building and facilities were nice but staff weren’t except for the lovely lady who worked in the pool area. She was friendly and respectful! The only one! The clean on the second day was ordinary, the milk and tea weren’t replenished? I thought this was odd. I’ve stayed in many hotels but never come across such carelessness!

The perfect hotel to stay in Vienna city centre - the hotel is immaculate, all of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel is within walking distance to most attractions and has a tram stop right outside for everything else. The hotel staff really went above and beyond to give us a memorable stay, I really can't recommend the Alamanc Palais enough.

What a fabulous hotel! The location was great, right next to a tram line, a bus line, and a short walk to one of the underground stops. To get to the airport , we just walked about 10 minutes to the S7 train. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The room was very spacious and updated with a very comfortable bed and pillows, plus plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also quite large and had great towels and bathrobes. The pool and spa area, as well as the gym, were very nice. The hotel was about 5-10 minute walk from the historic city center and St. Stephen's Cathedral, which is a must-see in Vienna.

Schönes Hotel, gute Lage, Service im Hotel gut. Beim Frühstück dauert es länger bis jemand die Bestellung aufnimmt, das Bestellte wird dann schnell gebracht. Wonderful modern hotel with spacious rooms in a beautiful building. Very conveniently located across the park and shopping/museum area. Only their non existing room service is a downside. Generally a 5 star hotel without the 5 star service (and price tag) so if you don’t expect a lot of service you’ll love it.

Our second visit after a very good stay two years ago. Despite 9/10 positive last time, the hotel has improved. Service throughout the staff was excellent, attentive and kind. The location is a short walk to theatres and cathedral with good choice of cafes and restaurants. A short walk through a city centre park (Stadtpark) to transit from the airport, plus the fantastic MAK Gallery just ten minutes walk away. The restaurant has an excellent menu, and if the weather allows you can dine outside (we have been able to on both September visits.) I recommend the green omelette! The spa was more accessible on this visit, and the wonderfully relaxing massage was worth adding . We would not hesitate to stay here again, Vienna has so much to see.

One of the best, if not best places we have ever stayed, and we are frequent travellers. Beautiful, modern, luxurious, and exemplary service level. Super king beds for my 6”3 height, very large towels, and breakfast up to 2pm which is delicious. Greeted with champagne, spoken to with respect and general sense of happiness and appreciation. Wonderful experience and walkable to everything with 6 restaurants right behind hotel. Safe anytime of the the night. Thank you Almanac Palais!

While beautiful, this is the most annoying hotel I have ever stayed in. The lighting, window coverings, and climate control are so overly complex and non-user friendly that they were impossible. For example, we were in a corner room with two windows and the two window shades were linked such that we had the choice of looking at the man across the way walking around in his underwear in order to get light from the other window or not being able to get any outside light or view at all. There was no way to turn on/off any individual light fixture: it was either all on or all off. At night it was impossible to turn off all the lights in the bathroom; a bright night light remained on - and was adjacent to the bed. In addition to the night light at the floor level there was another inside the toilet bowl (one wouldn’t want to miss that view in the middle of the night 😏). Further complicating the bathroom, one had to wrestle with several conflicting doors in order to use it. As for the shower, the floor was an extremely slippery marble and there was no safety grab bar. On the positive side, all the hotel staff were very nice and professional.

This place was a great option near attractions and tourist locations. Service was friendly and accommodating. It’s great for families. The restaurant was solid. The cafe great as well.
