Parking was $20 a night

Front desk staff is very good. Parking was limited to first come first serve. When we reached there it was already taken, so the front staff helped us to get a temporary permit which was a sigh of relief for us. I would like to thank him for the great customer service.

No parking, they gave me a permit to park on the street but I still got a ticket. And in this day and age you would think you could get a television with more than one channel on it.

Small parking area available if you get in early. Room was a bit grubby and could do with a clean. Great location for the Centre and public transport if you don't fancy the short walk in. We got a bit of a frosty reception as we turned up early

The room was very clean and nice. It had a kitchen as well. The only thing was that it was kind of hard to find as a first time visitor in Toronto. There was no clear and big sign for the hotel, I had to ask around. And parking was also a bit annoying and didn’t offer free parking.

LIKED: 1. Bed was comfortable; 2. Sink, toilet and shower all worked; 3. Had a small refrigerator. POOR: 1. Taps in bathroom were functioning but loose; 2. Curtains were functioning but one had a large burn hole in the bottom; 3. Television worked but was very limited in what you could watch; 4. No elevator - long flight of stairs to get to the rooms; 5: Understand when booking that this is a HOSTEL, NOT A HOTEL or MOTEL. It should not be listed as anything other than a hostel.

overall enjoyed our stay in a quiet area for a good price. front door was a little hard to find, but check in was smooth after that. i don’t think there’s an elevator so something to note w a heavy bag. room was in good condition overall but blankets & pillows had a few small marks, and the blanket was very thin. bathroom had no soap. area around the property is decently safe, there were a few people asking for money and stuff but only once felt a little unsafe. streetcar right near by.

Apartment was not very clean, dirty dishes, unplugged fridge, bathroom fan did not work, bathroom sink plugged, very dark, no windows, very long and very narrow staircase, blankets uncertain. Expensive parking $20/day and difficult. Came back at 8:00 pm and could not park, not enough room. Quite the experience.

Super dirty! Staff were nice though. Crumbs and leaves on the bed sheets, hair on the bathroom floor. Mold in the bath tub. Clean your rooms!!!

Nice enough staff but dumpy rooms. Black mold and cob webs. Over priced for a crappy hotel.

WARNING: This place is extremely unkept. Absolutely no refunds possible so please be warned of the following issues when booking: -blood and dirt all over the sheets -very dirty walls -BED BUGS -ROACHES -tons of BLACK MOLD Incredibly nasty experience and when we left we were met with unapologetic staff who basically laughed at us. Be warned. Despite the high price ticket, it’s a literal crack den.

The room wasn’t clean. Hair everywhere, garbages from previous customers, the skyligh was dripping. The dishes was greasy. Thin walls.

Was clean. Very spacious and such amazing safe feeling with the gate and door there for your safety as well. Friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and pillows. I'm serious when I say. I absolutely love this place. And I would love to even live in the room I booked for 3 days. Full kitchen bathroom this place is perfect. Will book again!!!

Offered a room with no window, except a sky light. Asked to be moved right away, felt claustrophobic

The room was very basic but the front desk person was very friendly and helpful. This Inn has rooms in 3 adjacent buildings which all have their own entrances. It is not obvious from the outside, where the hotel entrance is located. My Uber driver thought I had the wrong address but I called the hotel front desk and someone came out on the street to help me with my suitcase and the check in. The room was clean with basic amenities (shampoo/soap/hair dryer/extra blanket). I was a little concerned that there were no windows. There was a skylight but it was not clear how one would be able to access the skylight as an egress in case of an emergency. This Inn is adequate when in need of a place to sleep. There is a Tim Horton's and a McDonald's just one block away. The room was very quiet and the bed was firm. The flooring is new and there is a kitchenette. This is not a high end hotel/inn but the staff is very helpful and the room has everything one needs.

The room rate was cheap so I wasn’t expecting much. The location was convenient, with tram stop right outside and lots of restaurants and cafe nearby. The bathroom was recently refurbished and clean. Check in was easy. However, we were struggling to sleep as the air conditioning unit was making extremely loud noises constantly. There is a kitchen which is a plus, but no utensils other than one frying pan, not even a kettle. The circuit tripped while I was using the hair dryer, although I was able to find the staff to turn it back on just before the office closes.

The bed was very comfortable (this was in the deluxe 1 king room) and the room was fairly clean. The linens were clean and soft. However, the air conditioner did not produce cold air. The windows open and let in fresh air at night, but that comes with being woken up by all the random sounds of a busy street outside your window all night.

I was worried about this place from the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are huge with full kitchen felt more like staying in an apartment. Location is excellent and property is clean. Great value for the price.

Worked perfectly for me. I had a single room in the building a few doors down. Simple, yet clean, and a small kitchenette if that is a need. Comfy bed and pillows. My single room had a double bed, so it may work for a couple. A great base to set up camp , and explore that Dundas West neighborhood in Toronto with all the local eateries close by, etc. Price was excellent for accoms in Toronto these days. On my radar for a spring / summer trip down the line. Quiet at night as well as a key system only lets those staying there access the building. The value is exceptional 👍

Well priced considering what other hotels are charging. These are one room suites on a second floor that just need some tlc. Checked in early and staff was accommodating & friendly. Small kitchen & bar fridge. The room did not have a window but did have natural light from skylight. Bathrooms have been upgraded and has dryer. Tim Hortons & Mcdonalds on corner. Few restaurants and bars in area. Tram stop at corner. Toronto hospital around the corner.

Great hotel that is affordable in downtown Toronto! The outside of the hotel and the lobby look a bit deceiving because it makes it seem like they don't have much to offer. Although, our hotel room was great! It was spacious, came with a small kitchen (sink, stove, mini fridge, microwave, cups, and utensils), air conditioning, closet space, and a beautiful washroom that looks like it was recently modernized. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. I absolutely loved how I was able to walk everywhere. The hotel was central to all the places I wanted to go to.

I 100% would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We had to drive around a city block 3 times to find it. It did not look like the photos at all. Bars on one of the windows Called the front desk to find where to park. We were informed that there is limited parking and there was already no parking for the day but we could purchase street parking. This was not clear in the description I asked to speak to the manager to voice my concerns about the property, and when the manager got on the phone with me, he hung up on me when I started to tell him about my concerns I called back and he did not pick up his phone The amount of disrespect the manager and staff gave to me when I was trying to explain my concern was completely rude.

Overall the property facility is just fine but in my room there was a stand up air conditioner whose tube was not set up to go outside. I told them this when I arrived and was told that they would figure it out. They just turned it on but didn't connect the exhaust so it blew the hot air back in my room. that said, it was fine for sleeping, bathroom and shower and clean. it wasn't a very welcoming building or hallways and felt a little prisony. so i would go there again if I was really just going to use it to sleep and shower. because the price is right and the location was great

Approachable and kind friendly staff.

Our stay here was great. The staff were very nice and helpful. If you blink you might miss the door to the office but we found it :) we were then taken to another building that had our actual room, the was perfect for us and its pretty convenient to the places we wanted to go to, BUT the stairs in the building to get to our room were sooooo big, and I hate stairs but if thats all I found to complain about then I think we are doing alright. So great staff, accommodations were great for the price point and location. Would stay here again.

It was ok for the night, we went for a concert. It does need upgrading and I didn’t realise when booked it wasn’t accessible. However the staff was amazing and helped me with my daughter and bringing her up and down the stairs.

Forgot my wallet on the night stand which yes dummy me them came back 10 minutes later to retrieve it and the cleaning lady was very nice and she was already cleaning the room and she said she didn’t see anything and she walked up to the office and came back and said they didn’t have it. Only thing in thought to do is call the Toronto police and was put on hold btw calling 911. I was frantically waiting for them to answer and had them on speaker and when they answered the hotel manager came out of his office and told me the wallet was in the office and I went to the office and he opened a drawer and handed it to me. I don’t know what his intentions were but a respectful manager at a hotel would call the guest to tell them they left their wallet. When I left I tried calling the hotel number and he would t answer as well and he always answered the phone before the missing walllet. I never complain about anything but gives you a heart attack knowing you don’t have ID to get back into the US. Shame on this establishment for making no effort to call and know he immediately went in my room as soon as I handed the cleaning lady my key.

When I checked in last Saturday, November 23, 2024, Mimi , the one at the reception asked me for $200 deposit, despite the fact that the whole 8 days were already paid thru Expedia. This $200 deposit has never been mentioned in their website. I don't know what's that for. Expedia, check this out. Buyer beware. The office is only open the day I arrived. Since then it's always closed. Nobody is In there.

We communicated with the staff prior to arriving asking if we could check in around 1:30 p.m instead of 3:00 p.m. The front staff brought us directly to our room only to find the room we were supposed to stay in in complete disarray and bandaid wrappers were everywhere. She apologized and said that the room hadn’t been cleaned yet and asked us to come back later. Given the state of that room, we asked for a different room entirely. We took the next hour and a half to decide if we were going to stay there and decided to stay elsewhere. No money was given back. From the moment you walk in, it’s very unclean. There are positive reviews on here which made us consider booking here in the first place, however, our experience was less than ideal and we will not be staying here.

Location was the best part. Comfortable bed and great shower. Lots of city and road noise. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Very clean and safe for a budget hotel.

The inn covers the basics for a stay and is clean. I enjoyed the location the most, as everything you need (cafes, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, tramway, etc.) is within walking distance; even the CN Tower is about a 40-minute walk. The transit system is very easy to understand and to use.

It’s downtown around restaurants and stores

The hotel is in a very good location. I was able to walk to a lot of places, and there’s easy-to-navigate public transportation very close by. The room was neat, and the staff was nice and helpful. Also, the room was very affordable! I would stay there again!

Decent property considering the price. Not too far from all the main areas downtown, walked a few times and also biked, accessible by city transit as well. Would recommend for travellers on a budget.

Hotel was clean and staff was good. It didn't had access to drinking water, we used wash basin water when we arrived late night. The hotel has very good accessibility to public transport but lot of homeless people stay outside the hotel.
