If you're heading to the Bronx for a Yankees game, the zoo, or the botanical gardens, the Cabana Hotel's location is hard to beat! It's super convenient for those key attractions, and having free parking in NYC is a major plus.

Overall the room was clean but their was no microwave in the room and I had to go down stairs to warm my food and their is no elevator so I had to lift my bags up the stairs to my room on the 2nd floor

There was hair in the tub and mold in the bathroom and the ceilings were sunken in, although I didn’t see a roach all night I did see one come out an hour before check out. When first arriving to the hotel there were rats in the trash inside hotel parking garage and later on a family of raccoons in the dumpster to close to the cars and were stand offish when it came to me getting in my car they were ready to attack not scared at all.

Easy parking garage located under the hotel for free.. room was bigger, bed was king size with good quality sheets and covers Ice machine and microwave available for use Room was modern, bathroom was a little outdated / needs to be more modern but it wasnt a problem

Parking sucks, its type and dirty. We saw raccoons and rats. Room bathroom light didn't work had to shower in the dark. Guest service said they would try to fix it or change the ro.and nobody ever showed up.

Parking is a little tight... i wouldn't recommend a F250! Only a few spots so get there at check out so you get one as others leave.

Decent price for a couple nights. Beds were comfortable and staff was responsive. Had toilet issues so they gave us another room. Parking was a bonus. A little walk to train station but had a nice path to get there with bridge and park. Traveling with 2 small kids and they were comfortable.

wouldnt say this was horrible for a quick one night stay, but if you're looking for something luxurious just dont go here. Nypd is quite literally next door. parking situation is very tight.

This is a very shady hotel with hourly rates. It is a place to sleep near Yankee stadium, but you are better off staying somewhere else and taking the subway to the ballpark. Rats in the parking garage, the entire hotel reeks of smoke (the room I picked was non smoking), and there is not enough parking for the amount of hotel rooms they have.

Horrible and I would like a full refund the place was disgusting the house keepers aren’t cleaning the rooms they kept the same blankets on the bed urine drops in the toilet bowl shower had been used hair all over the tub hair all over the beds stains on the beds toilet over flows everytime you try to use the bathroom it’s is disgusting I wouldn’t recommend a cat and dog to stay here

The entire second floor smelled of marijuana smoke all three days I stayed there. The room and furniture were in poor shape. I could hear all noises from the traffic and people outside my widow which made it difficult to sleep. The hallways were not clean and had wet spots in several areas. I would not book here again.

Well, it was cheap and it served its purpose, but it was not very clean and just to name a few things, the toilet seat wasnt attached and the bathroom door was hanging by 2 hinges. The floors were kind of dirty and hairy, but on a good note we didnt see any bugs and it was convenient for a baseball game and again, the price was right.

The accommodation was really dirty. The first thing I saw when I walked in the room was a cockroach on the curtain of the bathroom. The bathroom was so dirty. The bed looked clean, but the room was on the streetside so very noisy. I didn’t stay in the hotel because of the dirtyness. There was no elevator, so we had to drag our luggages up the stairs

Very disappointed. Pictures advertised are far from what the hotel and room look. Not maintained. Shower floor stained and dirty. Paid for a deluxe room and got a basic room with two beds. Druggy just hanging around outside and inside the hotel rocking back and forth. Zero stars

Got this hotel last minute and would not advise anyone to book here . Open entering the hotel the sheets had old blood stains , and what looked to be like urine stains as well. There was tabacoo all in the sheets and just looked so dirty. The shower head was COVERED IN MOLD. I felt disgusting staying there the night . Had to tell the staff to change the sheets 3 times because of the blood and random wet stains on the covers . Would not recommend.

For being what it is, it was OK. Wouldn't stay here with my family, but as someplace to crash overnight it wasn't bad. A bit run down, but the room was clean and the bathroom had even good soaps, shampoo and lotions. Front desk guy (behind glass) was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is okay but they need to work on getting the Wi-Fi fixed the Wi-Fi is not working properly you cannot connect the Wi-Fi my phone service was in and out in there and I couldn't even use my computer to connect with the Wi-Fi so you need to update your Wi-Fi service

The property was decently maintained. Room and halls were clean. Parking area was cluttered and we saw rats. Bed was uncomfortable and the window was covered with a cling on sign so you couldn't see outside. The hotel is right next to a police precinct on one side and the Highbridge on the other. We were able to walk to Manhattan (Washington Heights). Site says 15 minute walk to Yankee Stadium but we chose to Uber. Would definitely stay again for the price and convenience (but will bring our own towels and bedding next time!).

the staff cancell my reservation, Expedia call to try to talk the employee, and her hangup the phone all the time. was 9pm, and tha lady was so rude and they want us to pay a lot for 1 night. when we already make the reservation for 4 days

Worst hotel ever. Canceled my reservation before I even got there even though Expedia told them not to. Was suppose to be $450 for me for 3 nights, instead I had to pay $450 for one night because they canceled my room. Awful customer service. Front desk is no help. And to top it off, a car hit me in their small parking lot and ran off with a dent in my car. Had to wait almost 2 hours for them to get footage of who did it.

Check in was fine until the guy at the front desk started being rude to my husband and I. Seems like there was a miscommunication with how parking works. The gentlemen continued being rude to us instead of clearing up any confusion and did not reassure us that our car would be okay. Despite the car being ok the next morning, the whole thing could have been avoided. The situation left us feeling upset and we will not be returning back. We spent money here and its unfortunate how we were being treated by staff.

Need more improvement, rooms look old, no service for changing towels , new stay 5 days and no one not even stopped by room to see if I need something or atleast remove garbage, have to rest entrance card anytime you go out everyday.

Hi, I requested upon arrival to changed my room b/C The first two did not suit me well . The front seat guy asked me to cancel my stay . Finally he gave a really good room which I like . I could have give 5 stars to the staff. Except that situation the room they gave was great and clean. Hotel need to have a special room with no smoking for people who do not smoke . Sometimes it’s very difficult to get a room called clean when it is full of smoke.

It was fine for a quick overnight but not somewhere I’d want to stay for multiple nights. Many outlets did not have covers. Missing drywall around the shower. Feeling safe was mostly due to the police precinct next-door. Walk to and from the stadium was not convenient.

Great budget stay. If you have a car or plan on ubering you should be fine just dont expect the walk to the train to be anything but daunting lol. Clean, friendly front desk, no hidden charges, not great for small children its more of an adult hotel. Im super happy with my stay, I was very comfortable in the room and felt safe with the precinct right there.

You might be worried about the area, but it is literally next door to a giant special NYPD unit with about 70 police cars parked in motor pools, lots, and on the street surrounding the hotel. Hotel has parking garage on ground floor. It’s like Ft Apache, The Bronx. Long walk to Yankee Stadium, but it was fine.
