Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown West

Hotel was great. Friendly and clean. Only downside was that gym was under renovation. We were able to go to a sister hotel or planet fitness but they were a ways up.

Great location, staff was very helpful. Would be nice if they told us in advance that the gym was under construction. Everything else was good!

Nice, clean rooms with convenient location next to Hudson Yards. Elevators need some maintenance though.

I was dissatisfied because we were there on a family trip the parking situation is horrible we we told if we park in a garage 2 blocks away it was $50/$60 but the fact that if you take out the car to get around for the same night you have to pay again to enter which is ridiculous the hotel should have an agreement with the lot for this I would never be going back at this hotel

The restraint downstairs had very limited options. The bar closed at 9pm on a Saturday night? And the ambiance at the bar was not very inviting. Not a place to go and “hang out”. Other than that it was great. Very clean. Liked that it was such a walkable area.

Taking long time for elevator and looks like only 2 of 4 are working

The room was nice. The water was hot. The shower head was not adjustable and shower floor was slippery. The view was beautiful. The service was great & the bed was comfortable. There were enough convenient stores nearby but there was no microwave. There also wasn't any parking. Their website states parking $50 a night. The parking that they recommended as theirs was not affiliated with them and they did not specify you pay $60 each time you pick up car from lot. That is why the overall lower rating.

I was really disappointed that the fitness center was closed for maintenance although it wasn't mentioned when I booked online nor when I did the check in ... what made this even worse is the hotel didn't even let me use any other Marriott fitness center and didn't provide access to a third party gym.

Very nice, room was clean, modern decor, close to 34th Street & 8th Ave shopping area there’s Macy's flagship store, FYI wear comfortable shoes/sneakers because the blocks are very long.If you think the prices at the restaurant is too expensive there's other places to eat a block away. My only issue was parking, there’s no Valet they charge $60 per day and you cannot move your vehicle unless you're checking out because you'll be charged another $60 each time you return to park.

We stayed for one night and the room was perfect. Clean and the bed very comfortable. Location awesome for walk and explore the city.

Liked the location of the property but room was smelling moldy from the shower curtain. The room was smelling and stuff.

Our room was dirty, there was even someone old comb on the floor by the bed. We requested an air mattress for my child, there was a hole in it. The next day we requested another… instead of them letting us know that they ran out they just never brought one. And the same thing happened the following day. I had a package delivered and they were unable to find it for about 30 mins. Staff needs better training, they were also unfriendly. I love the area of this hotel and the rooms are spacious for NYC but I wouldn’t recommend.

Beautiful property; rooms very clean; housekeeping service excellent; comfortable bed; all amenities provided; easy mid-town location when traveling to NYC. Highly recommend.

The room was not cleaned well before we got in and when we asked for it the floor was not vacuumed. It had bottle tops and medicine on the floor which we didn’t use. Overall nice place to stay.

Hotel next to Hudson Yards development and High Line, quite new and smart. My “skyline” room was a good size, with nice sofa and plenty of storage space. Good sized bathroom too with shower over bath (shower pressure should be better). I liked the toiletries they’re fixed too high on the wall - most people aren’t 6’8” tall! New enough hotel to be all very clean and smart. Skyline view uptown towards Times Square (other rooms face Empire State or downtown). Easy check in slightly early which was nice. Didn’t try restaurant in basement (Italian style menu). Not cheap but a pleasant place to stay.

Newer property with floor to ceiling windows and excellent views from my room on floor 27. Next to the new Hudson Yards development.

Would be a 10/10 if the air conditioning in the room was cold, my only dislike with this hotel. Had it on 65 but didn’t seem to get that cold at all

We are Marriott Gold Elite Members. We have visited many Marriotts and have never experienced this kind of service. We arrive to check in and was asked for a credit card. I gave the front desk person my credit card and he said the card did not get approved. I then gave my debit card. After running my debt card, I received a text from my credit card asking if I was authorizing a $560 purchase. I asked the front desk why I was being charged that much as I thought damages were usually about a $200 hold. He stated he was charging for the room that I already had booked and paid for through Expedia. I checked my bank account and I saw 2 $560 charges for a total of $1,120 on my debit card. I inform the front desk person that I already paid for the room through Expedia. A manager comes out to help and sees that my room is already paid for and apologized. She informed me that I could call chase to ask if they could expedite the hold release. Then next day, I received an $80 charge on my credit card. Again, I went to the front desk and was told maybe the night auditor charged me and they would remove the charge. The next day was our check out and we had a late check out. We were asked 4 times before 12pm what time we were checking out, waking our 7 month old infant. All the hotel offered was an additional 2 hours in the hotel room for the horrible experience and money lost that I am currently disputing through my bank. Upon leaving, another couple was going through the same experience.

Fantastic location. In the heart of Hudson Yards, the most exciting zip code In Manhattan. Noreen clean room. Friendly staffs. Aditya at the front desk is a gem. Hard working , went out of his way to assist guests . He truly embodies Marriott ‘s brand values.

More than anything, I was blown away by the kindness, professionalism and hospitality of their staff. In multiple interactions, they went above and beyond to give us the best possible stay and service, and it really made an impression on me. This is a relatively new property so everything feels clean and updated. This is a great spot for a family or couple, and I enjoyed being right across the street from the Hudson Yards shopping and so close to the 7 line on the subway. Not to mention that you're only a couple of blocks from Penn Station, Moynahan Food Hall, the High Line, and all of Midtown Manhattan. We will stay here next time! Overall great value and experience!

All of the staff was lovely. We had a 7 hour flight delay getting in after midnight and our room was ready with the lights left on. Front desk staff was particularly great, easy checkin and out and stored our bags.

Room was not ready when I arrived at 3:45 even though check-in time was 3 PM according to hotels.com. Staff said check-in time was 4. I had plans and could not wait for the room and had to come back for room key after event I was attending. Notification came through at 7PM that room was ready.

Staff was very friendly especially Adi who was very nice to deal with at front desk.

Upon check out, they charged me more than $100 for someone's bill at the bar and it took me two in-person interactions and two calls during two days to get my money back. Not an easy task. They simply don't care about their visitors.

Tv in my room didn’t work. Called the front desk more than once and no one ever came to fix it like they stated that they would. Otherwise excellent hotel, very clean and polite staff.

Hotel clean, beds comfy, close to everything and Robbie the front desk clerk was exceptional. He went out of his way to show us how to use the subway.

We loved the easy access to Hudson Yards, The High Line, and The Vessel! The High Line was a pleasant route to Chelsea Market. We are in our late 60s and were able to get around quite well either on foot or via the subway access points nearby.

Perfect for an overnight stay and walking distance from Penn Station

Location was perfect for walking to Times Square. Parking was easy to reserve and was less than a 5 minute walk from hotel. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

This is a great location. Close to Hudson Yards, The Vessel, The Edge, Macys on 34th St, Penn Station and the subway. Out of the craziness but close enough for a 15-20 minutes walk to a lot of things. Staff was super nice and helpful. They keep your luggage for you until check in and until your flight. Great area to wait for car service or until your flight on the lower level.

Overall a great hotel at a good location in Manhattan.

This property was in close proximity to the Amtrak train station and also the metro. There were plenty of restaurant options in the area and lots of attractions and shopping options in the vicinity as well. The hotel was modern and clean. The room was comfortable and clean. I will stay here again when I come to NYC

Cafe Prices extremely high especially for a New York hotel

The one restaurant was adequate. No bellman or doorman in a heavy traffic area with no designated place to unpack luggage. Parking lot an avenue away. Only found a couple of the front desk staff to be helpful and welcoming. Coffee maker in room with no complimentary bottles of water to brew the coffee.

Helpers friendly enough but follow thru poor. We were told dining room had closed and we had to order from door dash. Then went to dining room to eat it and dining room was open. We ordered mixed drink. It was very poor. The breakfast was poor oatmeal very seeetened. Green juice had agave we were not told when we asked for ingredients. We will not stay there again. The room safes not working. No one to help us immediately as we had to leave for theater

Excellent hotel (as expected from the Mariott chain)! Super comfortable and quiet rooms, very convenient location! No parking on site but still convenient parking options available! Do NOT recommend the hotel bar, all the cocktails were wrong and badly prepared! The hotel is excellent with that exception

This property is beautiful! One of the nicest, most spacious hotels that I have seen in NYC. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfortable. I had no complaints at all. The restaurant in the hotel had a good food, although it was a bit pricey. As soon as I walked into the hotel lobby, I was in awe. The decor and the furniture was on point. Such a very nice place. I will definitely stay here again.

Room was great. Service at desk also very good. Only issue I had was with the room/pick-up service for a dinner one night and breakfast one morning. I ordered the dinner(salad) on my phone and the message said I would be notified when ready. Never got notice. Went down and it was sitting there. Breakfast was worse- ordered 35 minutes ahead for oatmeal and not ready and had to wait 15 more minutes. They said they had one cook. But, the point (to me) is that this is designed to be convenient for the guest. Something should be fixed if it takes almost an hour for a cup of coffee and oatmeal. I could have walked to another restaurant.

The stay was very good young lady at the desk even gave us credit because we were there to celebrate my daughter and grandson‘s birthday. I figured that was very nice of her. She didn’t have to do that. Now the restaurant. I had to order my eggs two times I ask for soft eggs and I received scorch eggs in hard when the third aid came out it was like it wasn’t scored, but it was hard. I didn’t even bother about sending that back. I just took it and left.

Love the value and convenience of this hotel in Hudson Yards. It has everything I need including a great breakfast downstairs, Whole Foids down the block, and the bus and subway on your doorstep. Rooms aren’t huge, but for NYC, they’re good, and the beds are super comfortable.
