Such a gem. Love the pool and walking to the beach and getting set up with chairs and umbrellas. I’ve stayed two times already and will definitely be back again. Love this hotel!

Overall, we had a great time, but for the high price of the hotel, there are some significant gaps in quality. The highlights: beautiful decor/design, lovely pool and sauna area, good spa technicians, friendly staff at pool and restaurants, comfy beds, thoughtful note for our anniversary, fun free bikes to ride on the boardwalk, good food at the restaurants. The downsides: front desk staff need to be much more consistently detail oriented and knowledgeable, and there were gaps in hotel cleanliness and amenities. For example, we had a significant extra charge on our bill and after a 20 minute conversation with front desk staff who assured us it was fixed, it was not, and we needed to revisit it again at checkout. Also, the shower floor and walls had a decent amount of mildew, and the hall carpet was stained and smelled. And a heads up that there is not a hotel gym (though there are free exercise classes) nor in-room coffee/tea service (though you can get a free small coffee or tea at the cafe). While we saw on the website that there would be live music in the hotel event space many summer evenings and so were prepared for it to be loud in our room until about 10:30pm, we heard several people at the front desk who were unaware and not happy about the noise.

This was a small bunk bed room - surprisingly small. No place to open luggage, not even a small table for eating. The bed was shaky and squeaky so when the person on the top bunk moved it felt like the bed was collapsing. The AC blew air directly to lower bed, and it was very difficult to find the right settings, and the air was very humid. The sheets and the room was clean but charging around $450 for one night was quite a lot.

The hotel is nicely designed in the lobby and restaurant. The pool and sauna are great and the beach set-up with towels, chairs and umbrellas was a nice surprise! The fitness classes included are also a nice touch. The rooms themselves could benefit from more attention to detail, fairly basic in terms of what is provided and not great food options for vegans.

Room keys had to be replaced multiple times. Went to get belongings at 11:01am, 1 minute after checkout and was told by multiple people checkout was at 11am. Super helpful. Bathroom sink was clogged. Shower no water pressure. And while my wife tried to eat lunch by the pool - was asked to leave because of hotel policy at noon. All while we stared at our empty seats while eating from the restaurant. At least the waitress was kind enough to fix food issue when it happened. Never again.
