Casa Tuna is on a quiet street only two blocks from the main square where many great restaurants are located. The location was only a 10 minute walk to the Frida Kahlo museum. Our room was very spacious. There was a really nice shared roof top patio with a nice view. The staff was very friendly.

This is an amazing place to stay right in the heart of Coyoacán (about two blocks from the main square. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also large with a wonderful rain shower. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast every morning in the courtyard surrounded by flowering plants. The rooftop terrace is also an amazing place to sit and unwind.

For us, It was perfect! Amazing caring staff! Beautifully appointed room, balcony, lovely bathroom, shaded, garden atmosphere, beautiful roof deck lounge area! Delicious breakfast each morning off the menu, at a very reasonable price! For us, the only thing lacking was A/C! Although it was only mid-March, the temps were much higher than normal, day and night and even with the windows open, we did not sleep, very well! Although, no one can be held responsible for the climate…….I am sure, A/C would be a welcome addition, to this very formidable property!

You are literally only 1 block away from the Church and plaza, all the restaurants, shops, and just a 5 minute walk from the Central Market of Coyoacan! The kindness of the staff made feel so safe, since I was traveling alone. The little hotel gives you the feeling of being in an old plantation home. It’s clean, quiet, and so beautiful.

I had a great stay — the place was very nice and quiet. I especially loved the shower and the quality of the shampoo and conditioner provided. It would be wonderful if they offered an option for a glass of wine or a drink to enjoy in the evening. For the breakfast, I think adding some cozier or cuter chairs would make the experience even better…

There was no orientation upon ck in so we didn’t know when breakfast was served or general information about the hotel. Water dispenser or cooler is needed otherwise the doorman has to refill the one small bottle that you are given over and over. With these exceptions, the property was great.

The hotel owner was gracious and paid for my taxi ride to the hotel because the driver only took cash and I had none at the time. I was able to go to an atm and return the cash to the hotel owner. Will be my home away from home when I go back to Mexico City

Gorgeous design, better than $1000/night hotels I\'ve stayed at. Shower is amazing ! :) Only comment on how to improve is some things online say there is breakfast, in fact breakfast tables were set up but we were very confused about what was included or not. There is also a chef in the kitchen but why? There is no restaurant r room service menu, but the chef was in there working away at something. They should explain at checkin how it all "works." Also you have to ring a bell to have someone inside the facility which gets a little annoying but the hombre who watches the door is lovely. I really recommend this little gem of a hotel.

My stay at Casa Tuna was extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a safe location, with plenty of accessible food and cultural activities (museum at an ex-convent, Frida Kahlo museum, and the market). Good options are plentiful ranging from local street food near the parks and plazas to beautiful restaurants specializing in modern Mexican cuisine, Italian, etc. Public transportation is accessible but the metro is a bit of a walk, so Ubers and taxis may be a better option. The location of this beautiful boutique hotel is incredible! You are literally only 1 block away from the Church and plaza, all the restaurants, shops, and just a 5 minute walk from the Central Market of Coyoacan! The kindness of the staff made feel so safe, since I was traveling alone. The little hotel gives you the feeling of being in an old plantation home. It’s clean, quiet, and so beautiful.

I had a great stay — the place was very nice and quiet. I especially loved the shower and the quality of the shampoo and conditioner provided. It would be wonderful if they offered an option for a glass of wine or a drink to enjoy in the evening. For the breakfast, I think adding some cozier or cuter chairs would make the experience even better…

Gorgeous design, better than $1000/night hotels I\'ve stayed at. Shower is amazing ! :) Only comment on how to improve is some things online say there is breakfast, in fact breakfast tables were set up but we were very confused about what was included or not. There is also a chef in the kitchen but why? There is no restaurant r room service menu, but the chef was in there working away at something. They should explain at checkin how it all "works." Also you have to ring a bell to have someone inside the facility which gets a little annoying but the hombre who watches the door is lovely. I really recommend this little gem of a hotel.

This is an amazing place to stay right in the heart of Coyoacán (about two blocks from the main square. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also large with a wonderful rain shower. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast every morning in the courtyard surrounded by flowering plants. The rooftop terrace is also an amazing place to sit and unwind.

Beautifully appointed, friendly staff(Arelilo was very helpful). Property is not very quiet at night, ask for a room off the street side. They charge for breakfast and it was mediocre… lots if options very close.

For us, It was perfect! Amazing caring staff! Beautifully appointed room, balcony, lovely bathroom, shaded, garden atmosphere, beautiful roof deck lounge area! Delicious breakfast each morning off the menu, at a very reasonable price! For us, the only thing lacking was A/C! Although it was only mid-March, the temps were much higher than normal, day and night and even with the windows open, we did not sleep, very well! Although, no one can be held responsible for the climate…….I am sure, A/C would be a welcome addition, to this very formidable property!

Great option to stay in Coyoacan, the staff is very nice, the rooms are very clean and very confortable. The two things we didn’t like:,we can hear noise from other guest easily, and especially from steps and noise from room above. No coffee option in the room.
