Location was good, breakfast was horrible, trash outside everywhere. The white house was closed so we stayed at the Seymour I believe same owners

Comfortable stay and fantastic value…. The only downside was no lift and facing a 61 stair climb to our room each time. Nice and clean though and well worth the money.

We never got to stay at reserved hotel—instead a sister property. Nice breakfast, luggage storage; simple hotel. Walls are thin so hope for good neighbors.

Close to Paddington Station and restaurants , breakfast basic, however ok, room clean and tidy, shower a little small, able to leave our cases before going out, downside when going to collect, could not get back into hotel as nobody on reception and we missed our train home, had to catch a later one.

This hotel was great, we stayed for 1 night as we needed it as a base for resting and showering to go out and explore the city. We arrived and saw a sign on the door saying 'for check-in go to Seymour hotel around the corner'. Check in was swift, receptionist friendly enough. Had to provide ID. We were given room 214, on the second floor, this hotel had no lifts. We had booked a twin room, and got a room with two single beds. Everything about this hotel was spot on: location, cleanliness, amenities. After reading all reviews, I thought we'd be staying in a rat hole, but we were pleasantly surprised. We paid something like £59 (Sunday) for room and breakfast for 2, very close to the centre of London (LONDON!!!!), in a clean hotel with a basic yet varied breakfast. Bus stop was a minute away on foot, and there were shops, pubs, takeaways and small restaurants in the area. Paddington station around the corner as well. The room was small, but had all the basics: TV, tea/coffee making facilities, phone, a small wardrobe, a desk. Bathroom was small too, but very clean, no hairs, no mould or grime. Shower pressure was very good. I believe that most bad reviews were made by people who expect the Ritz for £50 and plan on spending the whole day in the room looking out the window maybe? Would definitely recommend this hotel to people with common sense.

They did not have an elevator and they said we were on the 2nd floor .... however, they count the ground floor as -0- ... so we were actually on the 3rd floor. I had injured my feet, so it was very difficult for me.

Be ready for climbing stairs due to older building and limited space it had no elevator (not an accessible property). Room was small but adequate and the bath had been remodeled with all new fixtures.

Nice and ckean, great location, great breakfast. Limited parking available so car parked elsewhere but the hotel were happy to help allowing my car to drop off and collect luggage and park outside for a morning.

Stairs are too tight to go into the basement rooms, the toilets had rust on all metal surfaces. The checkin was in a separate hotel building around the corner which was inconvenient. Only plus was the location and convenience to transportation.

Room was adequate for a one night stay. I appreciated there was breakfast available with cereals and food that one could maybe make a sandwich with. Room was freshly cleaned but the bedspread with cigarette burns and multiple stains does not make for a good first impression when walking into the room. The walls also had lots of splatters on them and the TV remote had lots of food remains and other dirt. Area is very convenient with lots of dining options near Paddington station which is a short walk away.

We stayed there for one night and it was the worst night in our life,it was a NIGHTMARE. The room was terribly dirty and dusty as we could barely breathe and couldn't even sleep as it was too noisy out side beside as if someone was walking around or moving stuff around upstairs and .................

Property was a reasonable price for London and in a good area. However the room was dated with mould in the bathroom and paint peeling in places.

The location and price were great. However, there was a lot of dust in my room and the walls were very dirty. The duvet cover had holes in and felt like they needed a freshen up. Also the neighbours were smoking in their room which meant smoke kept coming through to my room. I appreciated the fan though!

Cleanliness - not cleaned, stains & cobwebs on floor & walls, only beds made Condition - drains blocked in both sink & shower, bathroom handle broken Staff - none present, room key given by another hotel next door. Breakfast - N/A

+ I asked for a quiet room and got it + Decent size for London + Caters for basic needs (warm water, towels, hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, curtains, bed linen, cupboard to hang clothes etc.) + Manned reception - The cleaning clearly lacks - e.g. huge amount of dust on fan (so you didnt want to start it!), stains on the bed spread, sticky front desk (my check-in card got stuck when completing it) and furniture in the room, dust on stairs, stains on the walls etc - The hairdryer didn't work properly (e.g. 15 seconds on then switched off). - I phoned reception to enquire if they would have a spare one, was advised they would check but in two days nobody came back to me on the topic... I didnt check out the breakfast, so cannot comment.

The room was dreadfully small for the price. It would have been nice if they had Euro electric plugs.

Another great budget hotel near Paddington.. Booked a double room. Room lacks natural light as it's in the lower ground floor but room was good size. Room was warm and clean, bed was comfortable. Nice spacious ensuite with a good shower. Hotel stay included breakfast but I did not try it. Would happily stay again.

Very basic hotel as was to be expected with the price but very friendly and very clean with nice comfy beds. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was very basic but free consisting of toast,cereals,yoghurt, cheese and meat. Stayed for one night and for the price in this part of London i think it was really good value for money. The check in was easy and the hotel was well situated for where we wanted to go, however I did think the twin room was very small but really only a single persons room.

Only thin sheet and a blanket over your body in bed. Quite uncomfortable. Woke up several time to adjust it during the night. Should be a normal bedware.

We had to check in at different hotel. Bathroom bin had not been emptied and room was dusty, headboards peeling off. Bedding clean, bed comfy, walls very thin so noisy neighbours meant we were disturbed often. Breakfast was at different hotel and was very very basic.

Very noisy at night paper thin walls doors banging heard others guests in next rooms snoring bedrooom smells of damp mould in shower..would not stay here even for free !!

Hotel was ok but they let the customers do everything they want the next door customers whkle night making noise opening and closing the door so hard i didn't sleep I complained but the hotel staff didn't nothing and I passed whole night awake.

Service at reception was friendly, but staff at breakfast was terribly unfriendly. Had to queue more than 15 min until free table. According to accommodation description breakfast should be available until 9:30 a.m. but staff cleared away breakfast every day right away at 9:15 a.m. choice of breakfast was very poor and less available. When we arrived tea and coffee facilities were not filled up and dishes were dirty from former guests, towel was dirty, too an all three days the room hadn’t been cleaned

When we got there the owner said we were staying at the Seymour (next door). Having read the reviews I was a little sceptical, however, we couldn’t fault the hotel. Man on the front desk was helpful, room was decent for a family of 3, breakfast filled a hole! Would definitely stay here again.

The best hotel we've found in London so far - will stay here again! Everything was clean, and staff cared about the hotel. Desk staff were very welcoming and helpful whenever we needed everything. We also felt the price was excellent for where we were staying. It was also a 5 minute walk from Paddington train station, and buses were only a very short few minutes walk. An excellent location!

Woken up many times by loud bangs from the other rooms. Was no one at reception and had to wait outside for 10 minutes before check in. They didn't apologise. Bed was horrible, waterproof mattress protector, sheets slipped off and crumpled up, no duvet, just a sheets and disgusting blanket

Good value no frills hotel nicely located for exploring town. Rooms compact clean and tidy, breakfast included. The only negative point was i left my language with reception staff prior to check in and had an item stolen !! Staff not very helpful when trying resolve the issue.

Asked reception for an extra pillow - was told not possible until the morning. We were staying for 1 night! Road outside quite noisy as only single glazed so earplugs advised. No hand towel,bath mat or bathroom bin. Breakfast was chaos - all 3 hotels trying to cram in to 1 breakfast room with no free tables, people standing around everywhere. Breakfast very basic but better than nothing.

We were here just one night for visiting London. The hotel is very close the Paddington Station. Fast food restaurants placed 3-5 mins walking distance. Rooms are small but definitely do their job. After check out, you can deposit your luggage to the reception freely then you could walk the London’s touristic and historical areas easily Thanks.

Stay was ok, rooms very small, breakfast was busy had to wait a while for tables both mornings, location ok

The room is as shown on the pictures but the breakfast wasn’t very good & the juice isn’t fresh and the bedsheets are a bit smelly. The WiFi password wasn’t given too and the reception number isn’t given and not in the room, so if you need to contact the reception from your room you will have to walk to the next building.

A very convenient hotel for a night stay close to Paddington station. Having a basic continental breakfast included in the price was good.

Overall it was good, although they really need to improve the breakfast. It was basically toasts everyday… no fruits, no other types of bread. It was bad. The room was comfy enough and clean.

The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable we stayed for 1 night so this was perfect for us The breakfast is very basic not much choice , we had toast and a yoghurt but I had read reviews prior so wasn’t expecting much I would recommend for a short stay
