Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hot Springs

Friendly, professional staff greeted us and things got better from there. The room was as pictured, clean and well set up. The place was easy to get to, reasonably priced and parking was free. The stay also includes a free breakfast which was very good. I highly recommend this place for those looking for a nice place to stay. I can't say enough good things about this place!

We love staying here. Everyone is always so friendly from the time we check in to when we check out. They have a great shuttle service to quite a few places close by and they have a great continental breakfast each morning. We always look forward to staying here.

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The complimentary breakfast provided each morning was substantial and tasty. The hotel was within walking distance of the casino/horse track. Plenty of free parking. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are small, but it is a Microtel, so to be expected. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved this Microtel Inn. I had never stayed before, and enjoyed their room and breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and everything seemed brand-new. Very close to downtown Hot Springs. I do want to make note that there is no pool or workout facility - if that is important to you.

Fast and friendly staff. Shuttle to many surrounding areas

Friendly greeting. Ease of check in. Easy access from highway. Clean large room. No gym or pool, but for traveling through, it’s perfect—sort of the Microtel model.

If you're going to Oaklawn, it's a great spot and they do have a shuttle. PROS - clean, updated, offers a fair breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful (mostly), good USB and outlet access, has a shuttle CONS - With the updates came very little counterspace in the room. Bathroom is very small with basically no counterspace. If you hang your clothes, you have about 4" of a rod to hang them on. Towels were poor. The walls and floors are extremely thin - we heard everything going on above us, including every flush and shower. The bed springs also made noise with every move in bed. We had need to take shuttle to the convention center downtown, which they accommodated nicely for $5/pp plus tip (no problem). But when we called for a pick-up to go back, we sat for 30 minutes, called and was told he was on the rounds but no idea when he'd be there. So we opted for an Uber (which was about the same price). When we were delivered back, the shuttle was just sitting in the parking lot with no people on board. We went to the driver and asked if he ever got word to come get us, and he said no. Very frustrating.

This place was very clean and close to the everything. Only regret is no pool. Staff was amazing. Breakfast was great. They even had biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage. Oh yeah plus waffles. Literally Oaklawn was across the street. We walked but the hotel does have a shuttle.

The room was clean and welcoming. The beds were super comfortable. The staff were friendly and prompt. It was so convenient to have a shuttle to Oaklawn, the concert venue.

Mattress seemed old and was not firm at all, room cleanliness especially the bathroom floors was bad. I could see show prints on them.

There were noticeable stains on the comforter at check-in. There was a slight lack of attention to detail regarding cleanliness. The cable TV system seems outdated and limited. No closets?

This was the nicest and cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in!! Will definitely stay here again!

Clean, sweet, relaxing

The staff were very nice and kind. The lobby area was clean. My room had an odd smell and the floor was dirty like they had used dirty mop water over and over again to mop.

A lot of crack noises from walls constantly especially at night. Sheets smelled horrific. & floors of hotel room were sticky breakfast was okay had a lot of options

Every single person at this hotel is so very friendly! The entire place is spotless! The beds are comfortable. The free breakfast was hot and very good. And all at a reasonable price. I will stay here every time I visit Hot Springs and recommend it to my friends. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

staff was efficient, room hotel seemed new and well kept, but garden milipedes (harmless 1 inch long) kept wandering into the room (~6 per day) and one of the towels had a long curly piece of hair stuck in the fabric.

Check in was super efficient. The room was clean and comfortable with lovely soft white towels and bedding. The only downsides were the walls are very thin and we were put near an elevator which made a loud noise everytime someone used it which impacted on our sleep for the night. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice.

Incredibly loud. I had to wake up early and the person across the hall had teenagers banging the door going in & out every 5 minutes and yelling. I called downstairs a few times & I don't think they did anything about it. I also was able to hear the person above me and next to me.

The AC was very loud, but overall the stay was fine. Add some towel hangers in the bathroom, there’s no place for your towel. The hotel breakfast wasn’t very good, we went to Waffle House instead.

The hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable, but small. Limited amenities; no dresser for clothes, limited area near the sink to put your supplies. No iron or ironing board, no pool or work out area.

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean. But, the rooms were sparse and noisy. They reminded us of a hospital room, no closet, no dresser, no ironing board, no water drinking cups, and mini shampoo/shower gels. We barely had enough for the three of us. The walls were super thin, too, so could hear our neighbors. We were there for a gymnastics competition and I guess there were other events because all of the hotels doubled their typical room rates. This hotel is probably perfect at their normal $129/night, but not at the $230 we had to pay.

The room was a little small and didn't have a closet

Building is nice and clean. Walls and ceiling are super thin. Had kids in the room above us that were screaming and stomping till 3 a.m. Called the front desk but said they'll eventually calm down. Same happened both nights. We asked if they could talk to them but just said they already got a call and wait and see if they eventually get quiet.

The walls must have been paper thin! You can hear the outside noise and room above us stomped on the floor all night.

People/guy at check in was not helpful, acted like he was put out, or was interrupted, or inconvenienced. Slow in understanding... attitude. Plus I was charged $420, instead of $200, was told it was Expedia's error, which later was determined to be the hotel staff error. Manager was home, not to be disturbed, and was told there is nothing they could do to help me. Get in touch with Expedia, they suggested. Manager assired me all was taken care of and false charges removed. Will not go back there again, due to lack of competance, and professionalism

The check in process was easy. However the lady in the front desk was not rude - however extremely unfriendly- had a chip on her shoulder. Room was clean and was exactly worth what we paid for. We had 2 nights booked. However following morning no room service - no new towels nor did anyone fix the room, bed, hand towels, toiletries etc. When we came if from sight seeing and dinner and found the room that way we contacted the front desk lady (same person as before). She immediately told us we are lying and she had not received such a complaint from any other guest. Asked for manager she said no. Asked if someone would at least give us new towels - her response “let me se what I can do?”. Asked her to switch the room and she said “All rooms are booked” only upon threatening to call hotesl.com and sending them pictures did she allow us to swap room. Grand scheme of things minor altercation- However from a service industry perspective a big goose egg.

We have stayed at this property in the past and had zero issues. This time when we stayed was the complete opposite. The first night we were there, there was some type of school event and so many kids. They were constantly running in the hallway outside our door. We were on the first floor, second room, so right next to the front desk. So, we know that the staff could see and hear everything that was going on as well. There were also kids staying directly above us who were running, jumping and playing in the room which was making it extremely loud in our room. We went to the front desk and asked to be moved due to the noise and they told us they could not move us because the hotel was booked. They said that they would speak to the kids and families. That just made it worse and they continued in the room above us and outside our door but now were much louder. We complained again at 10:30pm. This had now gone on for several hours. The staff was very rude and said there was nothing they could do about it. We asked for compensation for the night, they told us that that would have to go through Expedia since that is where I booked through. We contacted Expedia and they called the hotel to verify. Spoke to the same rude staff member Sandy. They were told they would have to speak to management the next day after 9am. Expedia did follow through but the hotel manager refused to refund our first night, we only asked for our first night. This was our worst stay at any hotel ever.

Hotel was new, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Staff, some were friendly, the guy who checked us in was not. I felt as if I were keeping him from doing something else.

This area is not great anymore. Did not feel very safe, breakfast was lousy and our floor was noisy. This will be the last time I stay in this area

This is a great place to stay, if you are planning a trip to Oaklawn Racing & Gaming. It is an EASY walk to Oaklawn.

The hotel and rooms were very clean and the air conditioning temperature was set perfectly for the weather. Short walk to restaurants and entertainment.

This is a great hotel for the money. In a good location for restaurants within walking distance.

Everything about it and it is in a safe place, in a good location to get around. Second time staying there.

Very nice, clean place. Bed was comfortable. This property is on a fairly busy street so if you're a light sleeper, I'd request a room on the back of the property. Otherwise, very pleased with the room, staff, and property. Ironically, the only detraction from the experience is the excessive amount of emails from Hotels.com, at every event of the trip regarding the room.

Location is great! Walking distance from casino and track. The hotel was good for the price and location. The hotel offers a free shuttle service! It will take you and pick you up from Oaklawn several restaurants and a shopping center in the area. Also for a small fee of $10 they will transport you anywhere within their radius. Totally convenient, great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast! I would definitely recommend to others and plan on staying there again! Thank you for all you do!

Super clean, small room but had the necessities. Breakfast was terrible. Really need to up the game on the breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. However, the breakfast was mediocre and the coffee was terrible and barely drinkable, so I am only giving 4 stars overall.

Breakfast menu had an array of options. Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, muffins, sausage, and more. Coffee was tasty and the OJ was delish!

Very clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. Tip: the on demand coffee is great but REALLY strong. I diluted it 2/1 with the hot water and it was just right. The little blueberry muffins are the best!
