I stayed on this property when an unexpected flight cancellation forced me to find a last minute stay. This was a wonderful option to rest overnight and work the next day. The gym is nice as well as the pool area. The food at the restaurant is great.

Absolutely fantastic facility, for a great price. Location is nice, outside of the hustle of downtown Houston. The amenities are fantastic down to the infused water at the entry as you wait for your valet

Having a free shuttle to MD Anderson center was important, and we did not expect a private car with a nice caring driver to take us and pick us up. The valet service staff are why we will return, they were so kind and helpful each day during our week stay. The room was comfy, pool and gym wonderful and the Terrace 54 restaurant staff and food were awesome!

Light on fixture behind TV could not be turned off- had to sleep with it on all night. It was wired into the wall. Also the body wash in Shower was empty.

We arrived at 1:30 am and was assigned a room that had a strong mildew odor and was humid. Upon waking up and opening the window we found that the so does were leaking and full of mold and rust. I coughed the entire next day. The hotel says they couldn’t refund the night because I booked through a third party. There were stains on the carpet and bed.

The room was aesthetically, nice and modern. But poorly designed it took us 30 minutes to figure out how to turn off some of the lights. Also, there were high stools at the table for sitting. Which wasn’t convenient for me or my partner because we both have knee and hip issues so we weren’t able to use them dining. The glass bar door for the bathroom didn’t provide much privacy, and there was no fan in the bathroom for ventilation. The property is beautiful well taken care of and staff were all very accommodating.

They blast music at the pool 24/7, literally all night, so if your room happens to be above it expect to hear music all night. The street noise is bad enough (it’s bad) but they could choose to turn down the music and they do not (I asked them to at about 11pm and they did not). I’m writing this review at 3am while “listening” to their music. It’s completely ridiculous. The first time I stayed here my room was in a different location at the hotel and it was fine, but the fact they are unwilling to do something so simple to fix something so awful to guests is inexcusable.

Put me in a room on the 18th floor, which was right below their heating ventilation and you could hear the heating and ventilation all night, there's no way any human being could sleep in that room, they finally found me another room at around midnight somebody I guess checked out and they got a clean for me Miserable experience

The location and hotel are excellent. The amenities are great as well. Valets are always quick. Rooms are comfy and have everything you need. The shower head choice is the only complaint I have, not a great design.

you charge $6 + tax for what is a free coffee in every other hotel i've stayed in (100+ this year so far) and have the gaul to ask for a tip?!? the room was tiny, i wasn't able to sit anywhere to put my shoes on. why are the chairs in the room so high? what's with the expensive food and drink? why can't i park my own car? why did the valet staff look at me like i was dirt when I didn't tip them? I won't be using a westin ever again.

When I called about it, I was told they forgot to send the order to the kitchen. So I waited another 20 Mins for the “rush” order. When I finally received breakfast, they forgot to deliver the coffee I was charged for. No discounted breakfast or anything besides a half hearted apology. Won’t stay there again

Everything about my stay was great and everything went smoothly. Valet was efficient and careful, check-in was easy and the concierge kindly granted my request for a quiet room away from traffic and noise. Room was clean, so nice, and EVERYTHING WORKED (a rarity these days). Terrace 54 Restaurant has a beautiful view and the weather was perfect. Couldn't have been more pleased with my stay. Thank you!

Room not ready even when we checked in late after 7 PM due to which we were even more delayed for the evening event to go to. The front desk person at night was horrible, rube and totally useless. She said the manager would get in touch with me next morning and nothing. I requested since our room wasn’t ready even though we checked in late to get a late check out next day…I was immediately shutdown, I requested if I they can do anything else to accommodate like maybe comp my valet parking or something…the front staff didn’t really care to listen or help. Iron board in my room was broken and I had to iron every ones clothes on the floor

Do not go to this hotel. We paid 161.00 for valet parking and it took almost an hour for them to bring down my truck. The valet captain did not care and lied to me the entire time we waited.

Excellent service and great location to enjoy Houston and see Beyonce! We loved the roof top pool and small touches of treats for the guests like pastries at the entry. Overall though the staff and their high level of service is what would bring me back.

Friday night it took me over an hour to get in touch with the restaurant to place a room service order, trying the room floor as well as my cell phone. Josh, once I finally got through to him, was at least apologetic in delivering my dinner order after 9 PM. I was granted a 1:30 PM checkout, though when I got to my room at 12:50 PM on Saturday morning, room was completely turned over and stripped including my belongings being removed from the closet. All of this without my consent and with the do not disturb sign hanging out side the room. Poor customer service, huge invasion of privacy. The manager then called to assist me, looked at me, and proceeded to help someone else check out despite there being multiple attendants available to help at that moment.

Exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff was friendly and so helpful. We were in town for a concert and they were very helpful in telling us how to get to the stadium on the trolley. The next day, we were asked how the concert was. The room was very nice as well. We will definitely be coming back!

I didn’t realize this property was downtown. It wasn’t as nosey as i expected. You can literally walk to the metro which is very nice and there’s plenty of dining options. The food was also delicious at this stay.

Very nice and quiet hotel next to and walkable to hospitals at Houston Medical Center. Very convenient if you need to be a loved one who is in one of the hospitals. Hotel restaurant was very good. Staff very friendly. Valet parking very convenient.

From the moment I pulled up and drove off from here the service was beyond excellent! Staff is helpful and friendly. The food and service in the Terrace 54 is wonderful! I loved the gym and pool as well. This is great for solo and couple stays . I felt safe and comfortable.

Overall a good stay. Elevator system is weird, but people do a nice job helping each other. Room was clean. Nice amenities. My only complaint was actually the restaurant/bar area. Sat down for dinner and waited 20 minutes to get waited on. Never was spoken to by staff. Finally got up and left.
