My stay here was absolutely awesome!! Very nice and helpful staff. Schneider ( I think I spelled his name correctly) was so nice and extra helpful to me and my friend. We greatly appreciate him for everything he helped us with. This hotel was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The pictures are taken at an angle and appear bigger than they are. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel with huge rooms and soft plush bedding this won't be the place. If you're looking for a clean, safe hotel to be able to shower and sleep and then hit the streets then this is the spot. If you stay in the area be prepared to be harassed because everyone is hustling. Also they will tell you to have cash upon checking in. The breakfast is simple and good. I would definitely come back and hopefully when I do the pool will be repaired. Let me also throw out that this area is not necessarily for women vacationers, if you know you know. Thanks guys for an awesome stay!!

This property is very walkable to all Boca Chica has to offer. The included breakfast is solid , no frills. We loved the rooftop pool as it was lovely to a lookout over the neighborhood as we cooled off. The staff was very attentive and made sure all our needs were met. They handled our room issue speedily and with a smile. I would recommend if you want a clean , affordable, boutique-like stay near the beach and nightlife.

We arrived late at night, but our experience was marred by unexpected difficulties. Unfortunately, the street was closed off with barricades, forcing us to walk around the block with our luggage. The atmosphere was intimidating, especially at night. To make matters worse, the front desk staff seemed unconcerned, stating that the street closure occurs every night. We believe it's essential for hotel management to notify guests about this recurring issue in advance. While our stay was comfortable, the initial experience left a poor impression. We hope the hotel will take steps to address this issue and provide better communication to future guests.

The property is not handicap friendly. I stayed with my wheelchair bound mother and discovered they had no elevator. They're service was great. They literally carried my mom up the stairs in her chair.

Hotel room was fine. Parking was offsite. Parking lot was a common parking space (not really a parking lot per se but an open ground). My rental car was hit overnight on the side. Substantial damages to rental Car which I had to pay out of pocket. No attendant available to answer question as to whom hit my car.

The hotel staff was super pleasant. Place very clean. Rooms not sound proof. Overall experience was great for my friend and I. We loved the gym and pool too

The room was dirty, the bathroom was unpleasant, the floor was very dirty, they didn't mop it or they didn't do it well and it was dusty, and the bathroom windows were dirty. Under the sink, it was very unpleasant, there was mold.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms, both looked new and clean at first glance. However, one room’s window wasn’t able to be closed all the way. The other had a dirty (badly dirty!) toilet seat and hair in the bed sheets. Definitely not the cleanest rooms.

2cd time staying there, you literally cross the street and your at the beach. Issue I had is refrigerator didn't work

Nice and clean. Washroom in our room too small. Couldn't even open washroom door past 45 degrees . Very tight . But would highly recommend this hotel .

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Vicentina Hotel and I truly enjoy it, the rooms are small, however they are super clean and cozy and the staff is pleasant. The free breakfast is good and if you want more variety you pay for it. The hotel is in walking distance to Boca Chica. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something clean, safe and economical.

The hotel itself is very nice. Clean, staff is good, friendly and helpful. The room is a little small but okay. The area seems to be a tourist area to me so I would call it considerably safe. There are a lot of pubs and bars around so it's a bit noisy, especially on the weekends. There are some beaches close but I was there for business so I could not go around. The only bad thing I would say is the hot water. There was no hot water. The reason I did not give the low rating is the breakfast. They make it hot with your order and very very delicious.

Above expectations! King size firm memory foam had me forget about my worries. Great location.

the room was much smaller than displayed in photos I had the city room which was no different than the 45.00 dollar room which cost me 70.00 shower water was cold in the morning.But the overall hotel was clean and staff was friendly.

Do not be fooled by the pics, these are extremely tiny rooms. Step out of the bed and reach the bathroom in one step, and the front door in 3 steps. No amenities really other than you are across the street from the beach. Full sized beds are not queen sized beds as mentioned. It's a clean little hotel but that's all I can give to them. This should be a $25 a night hotel and not a $60+ per night. There's a nightclub right outside the door that plays music to late in the night and brings the party out onto the street blocking street traffic. It's a clean little hotel but honestly and personally speaking I wouldn't stay here again unless I just needed a place to lay my head for a couple of hours.

I absolutely would not recommend this property to anyone. Our flight into the Santo Domingo was canceled due to Hurricane Erin so we were not able to check in on the date we booked the room. I reached out to the Hotel to inform them of this, never received a response. We finally made it to the property and was told we would not be getting the room we booked. Normally not an issue HOWEVER we booked a PREMIUM room and was given a standard shoebox room instead with absolutely no form of refund or compensation. I spoke with the manager who in turn tells me because I didn't show up my original room was given away because it was reserved for someone else. Keep in mind the hotel room was PAID IN FULL. This hotel and it's surroundings is absolute garbage and I definitely would not be staying here again.

My stay was booked through Expedia & this hotel had its ups & downs. While waiting to board, the airline canceled my flight. I immediately emailed to cancel my booking, transfer & explain what happened. I received a great response advising to notify them of my new dates. A new booking was made for the following week. I notified the hotel of the dates & requested airport transfer. Now things get a little dicey. The week prior, I reached out multiple times by email and telephone to confirm my pick-up at the airport. During our phone conversation the booking was confirmed, but things didn’t go as planned. My flight was a little early. Upon arrival, I exited & did not see the driver I requested. I tried not to panic. I called the hotel & was informed that no one was coming,and I should take a cab. Now, cue the panic—I'm in a foreign country, don’t speak the language, & as you are landing, you are warned not to take rides from strangers. I felt very panicked and nervous as I realized I had no choice but to navigate the situation on my own. To make things worse, the next day, the hotel asked me to pay the driver who had arrived for the original pick-up, despite my canceling the ride hours earlier. After expressing my frustration, they did send a kind apology email, but by that point, I was already pretty disheartened by the whole experience. The woman at the front desk during the day was Awesome!!! She was very professional and patient with all guests from different countries. She was knowledgeable about Boca chica and surrounding areas. She is an asset to this hotel.

This hotel had everything we needed. It was very close to the airport in Santo Domingo. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good. Hot water and AC both worked great. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located a few minutes to Boca chica on foot and on a street with his food and bars. Highly recommended.

Close to the airport and a bunch of fun bars in walking distance.. the beach is across the street and it's a great vibe safe waters for the kids

The hotel itself is evidently one of the nicest hotels in that entire section/block. I'd really label it as a motel here in America, but nonetheless, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The room is small but clean and fulfills its purpose. However, the surrounding area/neighborhood did not make me feel safe at all. I didn't know Boca Chica had so much garbage around it, obviously this is not the hotel's fault, but Boca Chica in general was dirty. The beach is at a walking distance from the hotel, but it almost feels like it gets worst over the years in terms of loud music and beach littering. I would visit the hotel again, but the surrounding neighborhood of the hotel does not make me feel safe at all.

I wouldn't recommend it. The bathroom in my room had a tiny window that can see to another rooom. The area around the hotel feels unsafe. People are loud.

The hotel was close to numerous diners and restaurants which allowed for options to choose from. The down side is that during certain hours the taxi cannot dmcome directly to the hotel so guests are rwquired to walk about 6mins to be picked up. But overall the staff was very friendly and helpful.

stay was short but rooms and hotel were clean, tidy, everything worked. Staff were excellent, very helpful. Breakfast was ok, but a little short on quantity.

Bedroom had a humid odor,some paint stripping off on one of the wall corner,Dining area counter had a very ugly stain under the coffee pot, breakfast was only base on just eggs and a ham and cheese sandwich, also there was a spot that had a ceiling leak.
