Parking is 4 blocks away and you can not pull up in front of the hotel to unload but have to double park in Market Square to unload or drag them from the Mirabel Parking garage. They neglect to tell you this in the reservation, and neglect to tell you parking is 39 euros per day. They gave us a discount pass, but it did not work, so I walked the 1/4 mile back and forth to the hotel for a second pass. That did not work either, and they said to talk to someone at the parking kiosk, but there was no one there. 39 euros parking was not in the budget!

Very convenient hotel, close to Maribel palace and old town Salzburg. Modern and comfortable. Staff is very helpful with holding the luggage. Good amenities. Parking is very expensive, discount tickets don’t work and we paid $56 euros for 26 hours, with not much help if the discount ticket doesn’t work. Parking is about 9 minute walking distance but it was easy and safe.

Good size, updated room with air conditioning. This hotel was the first one we’ve had on this trip that had an outlet in the bathroom for curling wand. Breakfast was good with large variety. Hotel was a little difficult to locate as you can drive in a pedestrian zone to get to it for easy unloading/loading. Code is needed in later day to access pedestrian zone. The sign for hotel was quite small with small lettering. A member of our group had to walk around the area to find it while we waited in our car in the very busy pedestrian zone. Parking garage easily accessible down a few blocks from hotel.

Parking is the only issue with this hotel.. there is a parkade about 2-3 blocks away but costs 39 euros per day. Great hotel for walkability to everything in Salzburg. Would recommend and would go again .. without a car though

Hotel is in a good situation with lots of bars and eateries nearby, and the old town is easily walkable. However, the room was not serviced very well : towels were not changed and I had to go looking for someone to give us dry towels. Tea and coffee wasn’t replaced, dirty China was not removed and the floor was not cleaned. Not the standard I would expect for a hotel of this calibre.

The hotel itself was nice and clean but there was a funky smell in the lobby and halls. The room was clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was good. It is centrally located and easy to walk to from the train station and to the sites. I really wanted to like the hotel but the smell ruined it for us every time we had to walk through the lobby and halls. Once in our room it smelled fine.

Shower drain was clogged so it felt gross but at least they fixed that the next day. It was very inconvenient that there were still 2 sets to small stairs (3 steps each) to get to and from the room with a suitcase. Also the online system only allows you to decline room service 2 days in a row so I forgot to use the door hanger the 3rd day and I was surprised they knocked on my door for room service just before I needed to leave for check out the day of…. Since they offered the Salzburg Csrd they should have helped clarify some of the headaches that came with using that that weren’t clear and not as ideal, such as transportation to outskirts (Golling discount is o the card) not being covered despite the card vaguely stating such and certain buses not counting as city buses that gave trouble if you showed the card such as 840 which takes you to a number of designations included for free on the card

The suite was beautiful, everything was in great condition with complimentary sparkling water as well! Location was quite walkable from tourist attractions. The staff were very pleasant and helped us store our luggage before our check in time!

The hotel location is very good, near many shops and restaurants. Many tourists party until midnight. Even through the room has double layers of windows, we could hear noise from the street. We walked to Mozart’s birth place and residence and the Mirabell garden. Bus stops are a few steps away from the hotel. The air conditioner worked very well. However, the safe was unusable. They did not refill the shampoo; we ran out in the middle of showering.

I booked a Superior room. I chose a Superior room because I thought it would be better than a Comfort room, but there was only one very small window in the room. I’m not sure other Superior rooms, but judging from my room, not all Superior rooms will be good. Please refer to that when you make a reservation. Anyway the location is good. If I go to Salzburg again, I won't visit again.

This hotel is perfect, where it is located you can access the whole of Salzburg extremely easy ! Hotels do a guest mobility pass where you can get the bus in Salzburg region for free all over and most of the buses leave from the Mirabellplatz very close to the hotel ! We went on a panoramic tour to Hallstatt from there and got the 151 bus to the top of Gaisberg where you get an incredible view of the whole city The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the hotel room was very very clean and super! We had a great view of the high street from our window and it was quiet and peaceful yet in the centre of the action ! It was stated as a double bed which we were abit worried about that it might be too small but it was not it was easily king sized and it was very comfortable. We stored our luggage at the hotel on the day we left and the whole stay was great. If I was ever to return to Salzburg I would stay here.

Great location with bustling things to do nearby. The initial front desk people were nice, but getting chased out at 12 on the dot when they can hear us packing with a screaming toddler? Not cool. Kept knocking again, and again, and God forbid we left at 12.13. They forgot to top up any soap before we even entered the room. There is no kettle; you must ask for it. Honestly feels like a hotel that does not know how to hotel.

We had a great stay at Leonardo Boutique Hotel. The location is a short walk to the Mirabell Palace. We walked to the Old Town as well. The staff are gracious and friendly. We’re grateful that they let us leave our luggage overnight while we went to Halstatt. They also helped call a taxi for us going to the train station. Very convenient! We recommend this hotel!

Leonardo hotel is on an excellent location. Walking distance to everywhere. Lots of beautiful places to visit in Salzburg. And at the hotel we got a free pass to use in any public transportation. The hotel was super clean and well kept. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of options. Veggies, fruit, yogurt, bread, pastries, teas, coffees, etc… Staff was super nice and helpful. They had our room ready before regular check in time and we had the option of leaving the suitcases in the hotel for a little longer after check out. The room was very spacious and clean. Every day we had a nice bottle of sparkling water waiting for us. Bathroom was also spacious and super clean.

Location is just about perfect - outside the tourist hubbub of the Old Town but only 5 minutes walk across the river to get there. Perfect spot with good eating and drinking options in the neighborhood. Easy access to public transport, which is free with your hotel tax. 5 minutes walk to Mirabell Platz. Very modern and clean, well appointed room. Breakfast is not bad but limited hot items; I wouldn't recommend prepaying it.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I needed a converter for a US plug. They got me two in less than a minute! They have a very nice breakfast buffet. The cost is 16 Euros and considering the quality of the food, that is a reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again and recommend that you should too!

Just spent a few nights at Leonardo Boutique Hotel Salzburg Gablerbräu and loved it! 💫 Perfect location right in the old town, super stylish and spotless rooms, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight too—fresh and plenty of choice. Couldn’t have asked for a better base in Salzburg. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice, well-maintained property within short walking distances (or even short bus rides) to many of Salzburg’s sites, restaurants, & shopping. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable & quiet. (with windows closed, of course which we were able to do as they have air-conditioning) Our room rate included their buffet breakfast which we enjoyed every morning. The staff was wonderful as was the fresh food selection.
