Second stay here and the check in is quick! Great staff. The rooms are clean and modern. I like that the parking lot is lit up.

I liked the spacious rooms. The parking is tight.

The first room I was given had a broken tv. I went to the front desk and let him know the tv is broken. He looked at me and said "ok". I had to ask for another room where he proceeded to laugh and shake his head at my request. The floors are hard, both rooms visibly had dirt of the floor in the rooms. The parking lot has huge cigar ends thrown, razor blades and much more. The water despenser was broken and there was a sign to ask front desk for water, front desk didnt have any either. The vending machines were also both broken. The area isnt a bad area, the facility just doesn't look taken care of.

I will never stay here again. The room was clean there was waffles for breakfast. Room service came and refreshed the towels and threw out the trash. But there wasn't a pool even though there was one pictured when I booked I have kids and it was hot outside. We were very disappointed 😞

Clean and modern hotel. It is newly remodeled. The parking lot has a lot of light at night. The managers were great and very helpful.

We had to wait 30 minutes to check in and we were tired from the road. There are no business services like they said. We just wanted to print a boarding pass and the clerk did not understand us. We went to eat and 3 guys could not check in because no one was around. They were still there when we got back! They must of paid already because i would not have the patience. Everywhere we stay this trip was shabby shady and mis represented by EXPEDIA

I booked this hotel based on price, pictures and reviews. First of all, the pictures are very deceiving. And the reviews must be people they pay to stay in their hotel for good ratings. The check in guy, walks out barefooted. They give me a room that had filthy floors, I complain, they give me a different room, it reeked of weed. They give me a third room, it was filthy as well. And I killed a small roach on the desk. I went the bathroom and saw a large German roach sitting on the baseboard. I stayed in the room till traffic died down, and checked out. The baseboards looked like they had diarrhea on them. The bed frame was filthy, the couch cushions were disgusting and all broken down. The floors were dirty, the towels were dingy too. I felt so uncomfortable in that room that I couldn’t fathom sleeping there, so I left. I let the guy at the desk know I was leaving and they had roaches. He didn’t seem surprised and said he would let them know. Don’t be fooled by the new exterior. The floors in the room, were also coming unglued. You could feel them loose under your feet. This place is not fit for clean people to stay.

Yes, the room did not smell good. You can smell the mold/mildew as soon as you walk in the room. The floors were dirty tllike they hadnt mopped. The shower edges has mold and the walls looked dirty like if someone threw food or simething to the walls. The siding on the walls were dirty as they where not wiped down at all. Luckliy i took pictures just in case.

Booked the Jacuzzi suite after a long day of moving in July heat. Walked in and the room immediately assaulted us with the smell of mildew. We chalked it up to being a Jacuzzi suite and left for dinner. Returned 2 hours later, and as my sister was excited to try the Jacuzzi tub she had to clean it herself. There was a ring of grime around the entire interior. Okay, so we'll deal with it, just one night right? I get in bed and not even ten minutes later poor vault out of the thing so fast you'd have thought it was on fire. A roach crawled across the duvet and friends, that was the final straw. We immediately gathered our belongings and went to the front desk to alert the employees of the issues. Not only did the man working not care, but he didn't seem surprised. Calls his manager who refuses to issue a refund because we "used" the room. Pretty sure we were in the room a total of 30 minutes. I will be requesting a refund from Expedia immediately, this kind of condition isn't just unsanitary, it's poor business sense. Would never stay here again. 0/10

Woke up to roaches crawling on us and immediately left. Stayed there once before and there was a roach in the bathroom but we wrote it off because the storms had just passed. But after moving the bed it’s evident they’re aware of a pest problem that they’re not fixing in an effective manner. Rm 122

Horrible. I stayed there when it was recently opened and it was very nice. Now is under another management and is the worst place I ever stayed. Cockroaches everywhere, there was stains on the sheets, boogers on the walls, mold smell in the room. The ‘included’ breakfast was only waffles and rotten OG. I had baby cockroaches on my night stand. Stay away

Arrived at the hotel,checked in and got our key and as we was walking up to our room door,the door was open. The beds was not made,the door to the bathroom wouldn't shut and the floors was dirty. Went and told the clerk and she said it was laundry day and they had stripped all of the rooms to clean and do laundry. We went to go eat at Brewingz across the street, came back and the beds were made but had stains on them. Told the clerk and she just said ok and finally sent some up to redo the beds. Getting new towels was a headache too because we couldn't get any unless we bought the old ones down to the clerk and then they kept asking why did we need so many towels and we just needed two big towels and four face towels and we didnt get them. Worst experience ever and i won't book again

Gross…roaches and doo doo stain on couch

The room smelled like it had been recently flooded. There was mold on AC and on restroom ceiling. I reported this and they moved me to another room with mold and smelled. House keeping starts knocking on your door at 9 AM Instead of letting you sleep. I only booked one night , they will not give you extra towels unless you bring the used ones. Furniture was old and torn. Bedsheets had stains and burn marks. The bed was comfortable but other than that I was not happy with this stay at all.

The staff was were super friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable!

Love the beds

the walls were much too thin as I heard the neighbors every word, especially the one next door who were on the verge of killing each other so had to call the front desk to give them a call. hallway floor pattern was nauseating to look at and made you dizzy to look down. overall, the property was fairly new and clean but I did have a small roach apprear in my bathroom

The decor is pretty heinous in the room but the bed was super comfortable. The staff is nice and the property is clean inside. I booked thinking it would be close to the airport but it’s about 30 minutes from IAH. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The front desk clerk informed me that there was additional 50 dollar “incidental” charge and that I had to pay that before checking in. When I said that was not mentioned anywhere he informed that it in fact was on the website. It is not.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Room was clean.

At a glance this hotel has great curb appeal and is located near shopping and restaurants. However once in our rooms (I had two reservations) we came to find that the rooms were not as clean and well maintained as in the photographs. After dropping off our luggage and going to dinner, we returned and found that one of the rooms was infested with roaches! Upon further inspection, the rooms were filthy! There was excessive hair on the couch even though it's a pet free property and the couch cushions were stained. At the other room we pulled some of the furniture back to check for bugs and it was just filthy. The rooms also had an unpleasant body odor smell. We requested to change rooms but no other rooms were available so we decided to change hotels and request a refund. The staff said we would have to return the next day to speak with the manager. We returned the next morning and spoke to the manager. She said she called pest control and explained that flying cockroaches must have flown into the air condition and gotten into the room... We requested a full refund for both the rooms but only received a partial refund. Will never visit this hotel again.

I did an on-line check-in and had to basically do it over again in person. What was the point?!? Also…after already giving a credit card for «incidentals» on-line…I had to provide a 2nd one in-person…so I had 2 cards with $50 holds on them for nearly a week! The room had an overwhelming odor of strong cleaning products. It irritated my eyes and throat a bit. It seemed that they were trying to cover up underlying mold odors. I would not likely stay there again.

If your looking for the best place overall to stay at in the Kingwood area,, this is the place. It is always nice and it's within walking distance to several restaurants as well as Kroger. And the owners are always onsite. I've stayed here for several years. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a really convenient location, Kroger is right there and a whole bunch of places to eat. The staff was super friendly, clean, and the hotel was quiet.

I recommend this hotel to anyone that stays in the Kingwood area because it is the best hotel in the area and is located perfectly. Near Kroger, several restaurants, the hospital, and access to everything is great. Easy parking and very safe too.

There was a terrible chemical smell. The young man at the desk showed me 3 other rooms on the first floor and 2 on the second. We were too tired to move but I wish we had. It helped a little to leave the door open for an hour but when we woke up it was choking. When i pulled my bed clothes out to wash at home the Oder permeated them. The only thing available for breakfast was a container of batter and a waffle iron.

The place was nice, would be nice to have a better breakfast, it had a waffle machine, and some cereal and coffee that that was it. But overall nice place

Stayed at the Super 8 as a stop for a family road trip. Management was very accommodating for our late arrival. The property is on great condition, and conveniently located off US 59. Our only negatives were finding some red droplets on our bed sheets (blood?) and very limited breakfast options. We didn't notify management about the stains because it was late. Breakfast in the morning ws límited to coffee/juice and cereal/waffles. The seating area for breakfast was also very small. Overall, would recommend this hotel for a quick stay/stop.

Everyone on here saying roaches are “everywhere “ here is full of bull. Very nice hotel. They could have better breakfast options and hours. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I will be a returning customer. Also -Thank you for your service, S8K staff.

There was very few options for breakfast. Only cereal and waffles you had to make yourself. No fruit or pastry. Workers spoke very bad English. Bathroom had no handicap rails for toilet or tub.

We liked that it was friendly, quiet, the room and bathroom was clean. We disliked the horrible breakfast. Zero stars. The comforter was stained which was bothersome and the remote didn’t work but the attendant helped with batteries.
