Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center

They had a really nice coffee, convenience, and gift store in a corner of the hotel ground floor. It made it very easy to get anything. You might need on short order in between your meeting times I really appreciated this.

Much cleaner and more modern than the other hotels near Lloyd Center, but getting luggage to and from the parking structure in a separate building was more of a hassle than I expected.

Valet was not the most helpful, gave us the run around and only cared about getting us out of their way

My only complaint was is that the parking garage is behind the hotel across the street. So I would suggest paying for valet which is $45, and self parking is $35

Bar area was excellent and spacious with a great outdoor area as well. Room had a great design feel, great shower, nice big tv, and a comfortable bed

Great location to the Moda center (we went for a concert) clean and had every amenity we would want - minus a pool/hot tub. We would definitely come back and stay here during another event nearby!

Usually I roll my eyes at a discount at the hotel bar, but it was late, and I was completely exhausted and only having to go downstairs to eat something (even in a great food city like Portland) was appealing. I had an excellent supper of the Salad Nicoise (with steelhead instead of the more traditional tuna) and a blackberry lemonade off the non-alcohol menu. The steelhead was moist, the rest of the ingredients fresh, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. In general, I thought the place was clean, well-appointed, and well worth what I paid for it. I would definitely stay there again when I return to Portland.

Was very nice hotel within (safe) walking distance of the Moda Center. Parking is expensive but vehicle was safe. Trying to get to the room after concert was a long wait due to elevators slow. Long line. Bed was pretty hard. Nice clean and quiet room. Overall nice stay. Would stay again.

The hotel was clean, and my room was comfortable, quiet, and spotless. The bed and pillows were so cozy. I slept wonderfully! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I’d stay here again. Thank you!

It really wasn't a great weekend. When we arrived we found out that the self park that the website stated they had available was $35 a night and it wasn't even connected to the building. If you know anything about Portland, it is not an area that you want to be walking around in at night. While we were in the hotel and walking to our room, I noticed that the hallway floors were dirty. Not dirty like guest were treading on them but dusty, like they hadn't been vacuumed in months, and the dust was just piled up against the wall. Definitely not the standard of a nicer hotel. When we got into our room, we ended up finding a couple of pills that didn't belong to use on the floor. We just used a tissue to pick it up and placed in the trash. Gross.

The Hyatt Regency in Portland at the convention center has no pool. The gym is nicer than other hotels of the same caliber. There are free weights and plenty of cardio machines. The rooms are styled nicely and are well furnished. We stayed on the 11th floor and had a great view of the convention center and surrounding city. The hallways are clean, quiet and wide/spacious. We walked freely without worrying about being too noisy because the building could support it. I know this might seem like an odd thing to say but I have been to some hotels where every footstep could be heard and I knew the people below me could hear me, too. The market has random things to buy at hotel shop prices, of course. The bed was comfy, but they use goose down (I think), because my clothes were covered in tiny feathers when I woke up. I like the Hyatt Regency because they are reliable. You can count on the fixtures being in working order and things to be generally acceptable. As a paying guest, you shouldn't be surprised that things are clean and working. With that being said, the Hyatt adds style and comfort to normal expectations and that is why I enjoyed my stay there. There is a parking garage that is around the corner, which requires a moderate walk. I was with my young child child and husband so I had help lugging our belongings but if I were alone, I might have picked a different place based on the inconvenient parking alone.

I stayed 3 nights - housekeeping did not attend to the room one time. Sub par service at best. I asked the front desk and they were dismissive and said "oh sorry, you should have been asked about housekeeping preferences when you checked it. Looks like you weren't. Sorry." I won't be staying there again.

Really nicely designed room except refrigerator was really a not so chilled “chiller”. Left overs not safe to eat next morning. Restaurant staff was very nice but dinner was not great. Very loud from conventioneers in lobby. Breakfast buffet was very good. Fantastic view from room of Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier.

Room layout was a tad weird, with no bathroom door. You basically has a sliding barn door that blocked off half the room from the bathroom (there was a toliet closet with a opaque glass door). I think of you were traveling as a single person or a couple it would work out great, but traveling with multiple family members it wasn't great. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, but clean and up to date. Great hotel for the Rose City Comic Con, convenient and close. Breakfast was awesome! Staff were great!

Great location if you are going to an event at the convention center, as it is literally across the street. The lobby and in-house restaurant is quite good. My only real gripe was that it can be pretty noisy at night if you are a light sleeper. I could hear people in an adjacent room talking through the walls to the point where I could make out their conversation. Also if you are on the side of the building that faces the convention center, you are also facing the light rail track, which runs (and makes noise) until about half past midnight.

I have no complaints except for the noise, you can even hear someone's phone ringing in the morning, plus vacuum, ac makes noise for all night long, definitely worst sleep quality and experience.

Great place to stay, only trouble was the WiFi was hard to connect to and slow.

My husband and son arrived much later than expected; they arrived around 3:45am and were able to check in quickly and get straight to bed. They both said the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The view was also fantastic and interesting.

The staff here were amazing! That being said, you should know that the rooms don\'t have an actual refrigerator. They have a small unit they refer to as a "chiller" with a warning on it that it\'s not intended for perishable items. Apparently it\'s only for chilling wine so if you drink beer, soda or want to take those leftovers from dinner for a late night snack, you\'re out of luck. They also don\'t have microwaves, so again, out of luck for heating those leftovers. The food options at the hotel were extremely limited and the hotel is not located in an area where other restaurants are located within walking distance.

Nice and clean hotel. Our only complaint is that the shower/sink area does not have its own door. There is a barn door that completely separates the beds/living area, however once somebody is in the tub/shower, people in the beds/living area are trapped until the person showering is done and dressed. Kind of a weird setup that could be easily adjusted. Otherwise, a great hotel!

The room is so clean and like new. It has city and river view. If anything, it would be the door to toilet can be inconvenient for family and when you need to go out while the toilet is in use...

Everyone was nice except for the employee at the valet. On the ticket it says call 20min before you need your car to give time for them to retrieve it from the parking which was understandable. I did call which was no problem. Problem lies with the very rude attendant. She was in the “podium” so I waited for her, as soon as she saw me I even greeted her goodmorning and handed her my ticket. Her answer was “so what do you want me to do with this, don’t expect me to know what you want”. I was baffled with her answer and just said I called it in earlier so it can be ready just like what it was said in the ticket. She said something more like I don’t read minds and said here are your keys. I have a 10 hr drive and I don’t want to ruin my day just because this attendant thinks she has a right to treat guests so rudely.

Brandon was super helpful over the phone, and Michael made checkout a breeze. Checking in was also easy, though I can’t remember the name of the woman who helped us. Eva? Thank you all! The staff everywhere was so helpful, kind, and cheerful and it makes all the difference!

Great location to Moda Center, very safe walk back from concert at night

Room is very spacious and clean! Staff are always helpful! Lots of amenities like restaurant, bar, gym and walking distance to lots of tourist attraction! Train and public transportation is right outside your door! Very convenient!

Overall the property was great! The area was a little scary and I felt uncomfortable walking to restaurants.

Lovely hotel right next to the convention center, amazingly quite despite the max line being right outside. Restaurant is wonderful! The breakfast buffet is excellent and there's a menu you can order from but the buffet is quite good and the service was great. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Great coffee in the market area. Fun bar with good food options. Comfy and clean rooms. Would really like to see real glasses for drinking and coffee mugs in the rooms. Otherwise, no complaints.

We enjoyed drinks at the Spoke and Fork, and the service was great, the food was good. A few more food options would have been nice but what we chose was great.

Clise to MAX. Limited dining avaliable, food was quite good. I will stay here when on this side of town.
