The hold fee on credit card for potential damages in this hotel is outrageous and is on hold for 5 days. Would never agree to this if I knew beforehand. Also validated parking pass did not work and had to pay 20$ just to leave lot.

The hotel was very nice. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The only thing I did not like was, that they only had 12 spaces to park and it was full so we had to pay to park in the city lot next door. We were told the city had canceled their agreement for validated parking. The manager of the hotel was not sure why. We were able to Park right next door but it made it inconvenient. If we had taken the car out and then come back we would have had to pay twice. We were not comfortable parking on the street which we could have done for free. We had to walk everywhere and at 85 years old, that made it difficult however the hotel itself was great. I would stay here again.

Love this place, great spot to walk to the falls. Place is clean, staff is friendly. Only downside is parking is city owned and the 3x I have stayed there I have had issues exiting lot such as staff not validating or ticket not working.

Website says has restaurant with bar. Talks about enjoying glass of wine on rooftop terrace with view. Well, restaurant/bar wasn't open, rooftop terrace was on top of first floor roof with views of a patio and city parking lot. The available parking is next to nonexistent, 2 hour parking on side street if you want to take chances. The hot breakfast mentioned in other reviews doesn't exist, there were prepackaged Danish and muffins, bagels and cold cereal. They charged a $250 hold fee which wasn't returned until a whole week after checkout. If you just want a clean bed with nothing else it might be your place to crash. But for the cost I expected more, like living up to the website hype.

Great property but every time I stay there I have issue with city parking that hotel validates. It is such an inconvenience. Also hotel puts 250 hold on card for incidentals. This time but on my debt card even though I told them not to which has frozen that money in my bank account.

Overall the stay was good. I loved the room, and facilities. I loved the outside seating area and the closeness to all main attractions. I had a great time exploring Niagara Falls and surrounding area. The staff was wonderful and attentive, and gave great recommendatiins for eating options. However, parking is a horrible situation and should be improved. Also the carts for loading luggage did not work properly. It was hard to move around and the tires were flat. The buttons on the in room hot tub were damaged and illegible.

The room itself was nice. However, to have a restaurant and a hotel with NO parking for guests is very inconvenient. Also, being charged $250 incidental fee before even entering our room was surprising. However, the location to the state park was ideal and walker friendly.

I liked that this hotel is clean, quiet and safe. It is walking distance from Niagara State Park which is great. The room is beautiful however it is a bit small especially for a King bedroom. The front staff were very helpful and friendly. I didn’t like that the cleaners didn’t come to my room to empty the garbage, offer fresh towels nothing…other than that I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again.

Room smelled due to the AC unit for whatever reason. I had to turn it off and open the door to the balcony to allow outside air in to get rid of the smell. Room wasn't cleaned well. Bathroom had tons of hair, rug was dirty, garage bins weren't emptied after room service was performed. I've stayed here for many trips and the service is landsliding.

This hotel was incredibly overpriced, over $330/night and that was with $25 off. Our room was musty-stale smoke with fragrance to try and cover it up. It had huge cobwebs on the ceiling, filthy windows and just felt damp. There were only about 8-10 spots of ‘onsite parking’ and the rest was either a paid lot behind the hotel for $30/day or 2 hour on street parking. There is a dilapidated hotel nearby that is graffitied with broken windows. The only real bonus was its location. It is within walking distance to the falls and local ‘downtown’ area.

This hotel looked pretty nice in the website but pictures are deceiving. Our room looked like it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We open the curtains and it was a show of spider webs with all kinds of spiders small and big not a pretty view to see at all specially if you have a phobia for them and to top it off bed bugs!!! Never have I ever had bed bugs in my life, after this trip I had them and I pay so much money to get rid of them. This place only paints a pretty’s picture but the reality is that this place is filthy and infected with spiders and bedbugs.

We reserved a premium room, which was very nice but very small, but my opinion, a premium room should have a better view than a dirty brick wall. The bed was a little uncomfortable but doable. I enjoyed the large bathtub because I am a person that loves to relax and a hot bath. In all our stay, there was very nice. In the future, I would not classify the room that we had 210 as a premium room unless you’re gonna clean up the view.

Loved the staff and restaurant. The rooms were clean. The bed had small pillows. I missed having a closet in my room and had no hangers to hang my clothing. sounds weird I know but I travel a lot for work so some things are important The room we were in only accommodated us two and had limited room to place your luggage.

Very clean and modern. Maybe too modern?! There was nowhere to hang a coat other than a wall of pegs so some coats kept falling off. If you like a firm bed, you’ll love this one; it was rock-hard! But it had very comfortable sheets. Unfortunately, since the bed’s platform was flush with the side of the bed and the wall was very close, I kept kicking and tripping over the bed. However, the shower was fabulous and my wife loved the bathrobes, but we were very disappointed that we didn’t get the bubble tub that we reserved (the sole purpose for choosing this hotel/room) because Hotels.com apparently double booked our room. Fortunately voco the Cadence was able to still get us a room - just without the tub.

My major complaint is room design: the door to the bathroom is a sliding door that has gaps and zero sound-proofing. Additionally, the walls are rather thin. The toilets flush VERY loud. We could hear when our neighbors went to the bathroom. A decent place but needs a few modifications.

The rooms were ok however the service was lacking. There was never anyone at the front desk. You might have to call them on their walkie talkie, instructions on the attached post-it. Weve stayed in countless hotels over the last 30 years, and have never seen one unmanned like this. For $300-$400/night, someone should be there. Secondly, there was no available hotel parking, except about 7 spaces. The hotel suggested we park in the casino lot because it was free, but that was too far away. There was a closer city lot, that cost $30/day, so we used that parking lot. We also bought the breakfast package, only to be told it was only a buffet, and i know it wasn't described this way because we'd never purchase a buffet plan!. So i went to the front desk for our breakfast voucher on the second morning, and was informed that there is no breakfast on Monday mornings...ever...that the kitchen is closed on mondays. The rooms were ok however the service was lacking. There was never anyone at the front desk. You might have to call them on their walkie talkie, instructions on the attached post-it. Weve stayed in countless hotels over the last 30 years, and have never seen one unmanned like this. For $300-$400/night, someone should be there. Secondly, there was no available hotel parking, except about 7 spaces. The hotel suggested we park in the casino lot because it was free, but that was too far away. There was a closer city lot, that cost $30/day, so we used that parking lot. We also bought the breakfast package, only to be told it was only a buffet, and i know it wasn't described this way because we'd never purchase a buffet plan!. So i went to the front desk for our breakfast voucher on the second morning, and was informed that there is no breakfast on Monday mornings...ever...that the kitchen is closed on mondays. She said we should have been given a dinner voucher to replace that one, but too late, because we were checking out that day. So now we need to sort out this issue with expedia. Hope this helps.

I liked the location. Very convenient. Staff was not nice and didn’t communicate well. Parking lot showed “FULL” so I ended up parking quarter mile away from property. The front desk person said I could have entered anyway, due to designated spots. He never told me that at the initial time he told me about the parking lot when I tried to check in at 3:30. Walked back with my suitcase at 4, which was when I was to check in, and the room wasn’t ready. Waited 30 minutes for the room to be ready at which point I had to ask a couple of times for status update. I should not have had to check back with room update, I was ignored and disregarded and felt they were bothered by my questions, and there was little emotion or empathy, apology from the staff. There was much indifference and lack of politeness. I will NOT be returning to this hotel. I asked for a copy of the contract I signed regarding possible charges to a credit card I placed on file for room incidentals, and the front desk person (Brayden?) said the night audit person shredded everything, so there are no copies. He then gave me a piece of paper that had no charges, just the reservation number, and the date. He said this was proof no charges would be put on the card on hold. I have never had such poor mismanagement in any hotel stays I’ve been to, and I’ve been to many. Very shady stuff, and very poor customer service. Also, the bed covers were stained, did not smell clean, and had someone else’s hair on the sheets.

The hotel was clean, the employees were very kind, and the rooms were very nice. My only complaint is that even though I pre-paid for our room they still charged a $250 “security deposit” upon check in which I was not expecting because it did not state that anywhere in my booking. That is a VERY large amount to be charged unexpectedly (it was MORE than the actual cost of the room). Since we used our debit card that is attached to our checking account this unexpected charge significantly reduced the amount of spending we could do in the area. The concierge stated we would get it back after check out, but it could take up to 10 days!!!!

Great location for walking to Niagara Falls State Park and the surrounding area. Hotel was convenient. I would’ve given it 4stars, but the hotel plays music all night long outside the lobby, and our room was right above the lobby, so we could hear the music all night long. Also, parts of our hallway smelled like someone was smoking weed. Yuck!

Upon check-in we learned that the bar/restaurant was closed for the weekend and we were very disappointed . The bar restaurant was one of the reasons I booked the hotel. The morning we left (2nights) I learned there was a complimentary continental breakfast we were not told about. Staff could’ve been friendlier at checkin, I’m very friendly so there is no reason to seem indifferent or that I’m inconveniencing you to check in.

Well, restaurant/bar wasn't open, rooftop terrace was on top of first floor roof with views of a patio and city parking lot. The available parking is next to nonexistent, 2 hour parking on side street if you want to take chances. The hot breakfast mentioned in other reviews doesn't exist, there were prepackaged Danish and muffins, bagels and cold cereal. They charged a $250 hold fee which wasn't returned until a whole week after checkout. If you just want a clean bed with nothing else it might be your place to crash. But for the cost I expected more, like living up to the website hype.

We just stayed here last night 9/28/23 and 9/29/23 and had a wonderful time. The front desk staff were nice and friendly. We were eloping in Niagara Falls and this hotel made accommodations for us for early check in and a later check out time. It was a clean room and a quiet and beautiful hotel. If I had one to say one negative about my stay it would be the breakfast staff. We waited for a while for breakfast and they never asked what we wanted to drink or anything. We ended up walking over to the anchor bar for breakfast. But other then that we had a blast and will be staying there again in the future.

We were assigned a room on the 1st floor and it smelled musty and the carpet was wet. The very nice person at the front desk changed us to a room on the 2nd floor. This room was better, but the air conditioner blew a damp cool air. Overall, the room was not comfortable. The location was great being near all the area attractions.
