Stayed here before driving into Yosemite. Friendly staff, room was clean and very spacious. Easy parking and within walking distance of various restaurants - we had 1850 which was a good recommendation from the front desk. Would totally stay again. Thanks for the accomodations!

Lovely receptionist greeted us, we had a large room extremely clean and bed comfy. Parked right outside. On main highway so some noise and air conditioning very loud but earplugs provided. Unfortunately we stayed in room 211 and were hoping for relaxing afternoon of tv but the tv didn’t work, we tried phoning reception but the phone didn’t work either! The lady on reception did come up and try to sort it after my husband went down there but no luck. She did offer to move us to another room but we were tired and already unpacked by then. We would have stayed somewhere cheaper had we known what the facilities were lacking. Had the tv been working we would otherwise highly recommend.

Staff were incredibly friendly. I appreciated we could take breakfast items the night before because we left for Yosemite each day before breakfast hours began. The property itself is dated. Room door had a gap under it, bathroom door stuck, pool was out of order.

The parking lot was difficult to use as was small. Mattresses were hard and towels small. Otherwise is was clean and an easy place to use to stay when driving into Yosemite.

Mariposa is a nice town to stay in if you want to drive in to Yosemite. The staff at the Yosemite Inn is 1st rate friendly and customer oriented. Would stay here again. Pool wasn't working (it was drained) when we were there so knocked off 1 star in my rating. Good hours for the continental breakfast (6-10am).

It’s the closest town to Yosemite National Park that has reasonable price. Initially the room had a funky smell common in some hotels. The following day, coming from spending a full day at Yosemite National Park and after the staff cleaned the room, the funky smell was eliminated. They didn’t try to cover up the smell with aromatics. It was just gone. One of the staff called the room to inquire about the low check-in rating in Expedia, and informed me that I should tell them next time so that they can put me in another room. I just thought it was going to be another one of those hotels with a funky smell, but it wasn’t because the same room was fresh the following night. The staff is friendly and the neighborhood looks safe.

The room was easy to get to from the parking lot. What we did not like was that the walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors conversations. We also had a difficult time sleeping because the person above us was walking around a lot and we could hear every step that person was taking.

Out of the 3 budget hotels I stayed during my trip to California (also 1 in LA and 1 in SF), the Yosemite Inn was the best experience. The location is perfect in Mariposa for both those who want to go to the Yosemite Valley and also for those who want to see the Giant Sequoias in the Mariposa Grove. The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. Staff was friendly. It didn't go unnoticed that the carpet is old and the shower is low. But again, not much of a hassle if you consider this is a budget hotel. I would recommend changing that to an even better experience.

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting Yosemite. The breakfast consisted of muffins, bagels with cream cheese, cereals, yogurt and tea/coffee/juice. The room was huge, I wish there was a full size sink. The beds were comfortable. There is definitely wear and tear but the staff do their best to keep it clean. The carpet and linens were in need lf TLC. The room cooled down well with the wall ac unit. This inn was located close to amenities such as a rite aid and grocery store. There is a large mini fridge and microwave. Easy to get to and from Yosemite.

My room was clean and spacious. I was given a corner room that was away from the hustle and bustle, so it was nice and quiet. I arrived early, hoping to just get a room key before catching a YARTS bus to Yosemite, and Kirsten was so kind and gracious, allowing me to go ahead and check in to my room a few hours early so I could go ahead and unpack and get settled since it would be quite late before I got back that night. The property is very well-located. It is right across from a tourist information spot and there are several dining options within walking distance. The park and ride for the YARTS bus was just a short drive (1-2 minutes). The price was very reasonable compared to other nearby locations.

The only issue was that we rep'd a notification that said if you cannot arrive by 9pm to call ahead. So we kind of rushed out of Yosemite Park to make it. However, when we got there Teresa (who is Excellent!) said that that is not true and that staff are in office 24 hours.

Friendly staff, clean facility, reasonably priced, and within walking distance to restaurants (we recommend 1850 down the street). Wonderful family owned inn with a friendly staff, large rooms, and they accommodated my reqest for a first floor room. Close to two entrances into Yosemite. Just down the street is a wonderful nostalgic restaurant called the Happy Burger Diner; their 7 page menu has something for everyone and the portions are large and reasonably priced.

We arrived late, and the manager (?) went out of her way to make sure we had a parking spot. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just OK, it would have been nice to have a protein option like hardboiled eggs. Room was very clean.

The Motel has been renovated on the cheap fairly recently but the building in itself is old with really thin walls so you will hear everything especially the old and noisy air conditioners from the other rooms Ear plugs are provided but they won’t make much of a difference. The breakfast room is extremely small providing enough space for six people at best so you’re going to want to have breakfast in your room. The old window in the room wouldn’t close effectively leaving the room open. All and all in my opinion, this motel doesn’t provide good value for money.
