Across recent reviews, The Yosemite Inn stands out for very clean, spacious rooms and friendly, helpful staff, plus a convenient Mariposa location for Yosemite visits and walkable dining, though it is an older, budget-style property with some dated elements.

The room is super clean and comfortable. I have stayed here before and will be back in future. The only thing i miss is that they used to serve breakfast in a small room next to reception. Nothing fancy, just bagels, cereal, muffins, coffee, and juice. I liked seeing other guests there in morning and interacting and discovering their Yosemite plans. This place is great!

The place was small, but it had a cozy charm to it. The building looked old, but it was well maintained, and the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The staff were super kind, waiting for us to arrive, and the check-in process was a breeze – quick and easy!

Out of the 3 budget hotels I stayed during my trip to California (also 1 in LA and 1 in SF), the Yosemite Inn was the best experience. The location is perfect in Mariposa for both those who want to go to the Yosemite Valley and also for those who want to see the Giant Sequoias in the Mariposa Grove. The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. Staff was friendly. It didn't go unnoticed that the carpet is old and the shower is low. But again, not much of a hassle if you consider this is a budget hotel. I would recommend changing that to an even better experience.
