We had a rental car so parking was very important to us. We first went to the hotel, uploaded our luggage and then drove through the crazy streets of Genoa to find the parking garage. The location of the garage is just a few blocks away, but due to one-way streets it felt as if it was further. Nice, comfortable room. The staff was wonderful --they told us about an elevator (free) that we could take us to the top of a hill with great city views - it was lovely to see the sunset from there, THANK YOU.

A great location for our last 2 nights in Italy. The staff were helpful and friendly, even going as far as to pop a postcard in the postbox on their way home after finishing work. The hairdryer in the room scores 10/10 for no need to keep a thumb on the power switch, a decent nozzle and a cold blow setting. Free coffee, cake and pastries in the afternoon until the evening - a fabulous added extra bonus. Breakfast worked very well for us including yoghurt, fruit and meats plus cheese. The light in the walk-in wardrobe didn't appear to work in our room, but that was the only niggle. A good sized room and we liked the view over the narrow alleyway from our window. A bathroom window which opened too, perfect! Highly recommended and would definitely return if we come back to Genova in the future.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and knowledable. The bathrooms had been recently renovated so they were nice and clean. Only drawback was the flight of stairs you have to climb with your suitcase just to get into the hotel lobby. Also it was hard to find dinning nearby as most places were closed when we were there.

We absolutely loved our stay and were immensely grateful the lovely and very professional staff both accommodated and put up with us. Our room was beautiful. We had a fabulous view of the plaza below and stunning surroundings. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and delicious. The staff helped us many times as these were our first days ever in Italy. Highly recommend!

Room was good size and bed was comfortable. Room was clean and staff were helpful. Downside was sound proofing. I could hear the people talking next door and could hear every time they used the toilet and shower. Not the best when you need a sleep.

Brilliant location - close to everything and easy to reach with the airport bus (Volabus). Plenty of good restaurants, bars etc in easy walking distance. Superior room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Air con battled a bit on the super hot days (35 degrees). But this is normal in Italy. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was very good. All staff were kind and incredibly helpful - proactive (not just responsive) to our needs.

This quaint property was in a good location and served a nice breakfast, nothing fancy. We enjoyed the use of the breakfast room in the afternoons for reading and a coffee. Staff very polite. The room was noisy and the lights from the street came in through the bathroom window. Nevertheless, we were able to sleep.

Overall a great location in old Genoa with almost everything in walking distance or close to public transportation. The hotel is a little on the older side with some minor housekeeping issues and room condition. The room was fine but it could have used more closet space. The bathroom itself was very small and not enough counterspace. The staff overall were very welcoming and polite at all times.

Utrolig hyggelig personale! De ga virkelig god service. Bagasjen vår var forsinket, men da vi kom frem til hotellet midt på natten fikk vi alt vi trengte. Vi fikk også gode tips til nydelige restauranter. Rommet i seg selv er av enkel standard, men det er rent og funksjonelt. Kunne hatt noen bilder på veggene, men uansett var det helt topp. Beliggenheten var prima.

Check in was quick, didn’t enjoy the fact that my key was constantly having to be handed in when leaving the property it felt a bit invasive in terms of being watched on my whereabouts. Rooms are not sound proof. It was my birthday and most hotels give bottle of wine or something nice in room I had informed before but I didn’t get anything. I did remind them so they gave a glass of wine after I mentioned it. Good location and breakfast was simple and sufficient. I requested a later checkout and it was agreed for 1pm however the next day by 1145 I was receiving phone calls to vacate the room sadly the handover hadn’t been done between night and morning staff. Minibar rates were quite decent nothing to crazy compared to other hotels. Need a few tweaks to be ironed out especially regarding room keys, I enjoy just walking in and out of hotels in privacy.

This hotel is in a fantastic location for walking around the historic old town of Genoa! The Piazza di Ferrari is amazing with beautiful buildings and great restaurants. The hotel was quiet, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious!

We stayed for 1 week in September. All the staff were extremely friendly, front desk staff was helpful with all the questions we have had. We really enjoyed the breakfast, it was versatile and the smell of fresh pastries every morning was great. The room was clean and we had regular change of towels and sheets. The location was perfect for our stay. Lots of shopping in the area and excellent dinner options. The option breakfast menu was simple and had something for everyone. Definitely great value and be sure to try their cappuccino included at breakfast.
