First impression of Lucky Lucy began outdoors. This neighborhood is quaint, clean, fun and energetic. There was lots of shopping, restaurants, wine tasting opportunities and people of all ages enjoying themselves. Next, as we walked into Lucky Lucy we were hit with a very damp musty smell. We thought we just needed to turn on the A/C and give it some time. The musty smell, however did not get better. Although we should have called to report this right away, we elected not to. This has been a chronic issue as evidenced by the deep musty smell of the couch and upholstered cushions . The air was so damp even the paper towels on the counter were damp. Although this studio was otherwise clean, the air quality needs to be addressed before I would recommend anyone staying here. Prior to checking out. I reported this issue as well as the hot tub not heating. I appreciate the prompt reply that they would look into the issues and resolve them. I hope this is the case. .

We planned to be on the go for most of our stay in Saugatuck. So a clean, quiet place for the two of us was all we needed for our long weekend getaway. Parking next to the building was nice. The hot tub was very nice, and the kitchen was stocked with basic cooking accessories and utensils. We walked downtown to shops and restaurants every day. Location allowed us to get to Douglas, Fennville and Holland pretty easily.

Great location. Studio was perfect size and cozy. Location is walkable to everything, restaurants, shops, and bars. Only complaint was the hot tub heater wasn't working. It only would heat to 80 degrees so it wasn't usable. Not really the fault of the property manager as we didn't try to use the hot tub until Saturday afternoon and it wouldn't have been fixed in time. Just letting the rental know so the next guest can use it.

We had such a wonderful time during our weekend getaway at Lucky Lucy. It was the perfect size space and ideal location for all of our Saugatuck area adventures! Everything was so clean, renovated, cozy, and ideal. We especially loved the hot tub. We used it each night. The second night it was flurrying, so it was such a fun experience being cozy and warm in the water with the cold snow showering down on us. Thanks for making this much needed getaway possible! We also appreciated the clear and concise instructions for our stay. Thanks for the clarity! All this to say, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our weekend retreat than Lucky Lucy! My partner and I had a lovely stay here. The hot tub was wonderful after spending our days shopping, walking, and enjoying the springtime flowers. It’s a short walk to downtown and the water, We would definitely stay here again.

The unit was decorated nicely and the mattress was comfortable. The location was good. The house and yard are well cared for, and management seems to be on top of things. The one issue I had was the mildew smell. We were fine because we left the windows open and the fan running most of the time, but the smell became strong whenever the windows were closed. There was a plug in air purifier running, but I think more interventions are needed during the summer months. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless! It is a cute and convenient space for the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Lucy. It was very clean, just the right size for 2, decorated nicely and had everything we needed if we wanted to cook. The linens and towels were very nice quality. We were only a short 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the bed isn't very comfortable as it sags to one side but that would not stop me from staying again.

This is great little studio close to what Saugatuck is known for ...food and shopping! It worked well for my husband and I . Could fit 2 smaller children too, but there is limited storage space. As much as we loved so many things about the place, we could not sleep together! The bed definitely rolled to the middle. I spent the second night on the couch!

Great location, the house was cute and cozy. The bathroom is very small. If you have someone that wants to put on make up or blow dry their hair, it’s hard to find a place to do that, certainly no room in the bathroom. My wife would stay here again, so that means I would as well 😀.

We had a nice stay here during Tulip Time. The bed was amazing! The tv didn’t work like it said (Hulu live) and when I called to ask about it, they never called back. The door was also tricky to lock from the outside. Overall, cute place, very nice, very clean.

We enjoyed our stay at Lucky Lucy. It was cozy and conveniently located. It was just what we needed for our short stay. The only recommendation we would have would be to add a mirror outside of the bathroom that way two people can get ready at the same time. A mirror behind the door seems like it would be perfect.

Convenient to everything, we walked everywhere. Could walk to Baldhead and Lake Michigan except the chain ferry was closed for the season. GPS directs you to stop on Holland but turn onto Lucy and there is the parking. Too many great places to eat but certainly do breakfast At Ida Red. Very clean cottage with nice decor. We had a nice stay here during Tulip Time. The bed was amazing! The tv didn’t work like it said (Hulu live) and when I called to ask about it, they never called back. The door was also tricky to lock from the outside. Overall, cute place, very nice, very clean.

What a lovely little property. Everything met our needs perfectly. The walk to downtown is so easy and makes the cottage truly live up to the adage location, location, location!!! Had a delightful time. And the smart tv worked wonderfully. Got in 5 of 10 Oscar nominations in very comfy, yummy quarters! Now 7 down, 3 to go! Thanks for the hospitality.

We planned to be on the go for most of our stay in Saugatuck. So a clean, quiet place for the two of us was all we needed for our long weekend getaway. Parking next to the building was nice. The hot tub was very nice, and the kitchen was stocked with basic cooking accessories and utensils. We walked downtown to shops and restaurants every day. Location allowed us to get to Douglas, Fennville and Holland pretty easily.

I️ really enjoyed my stay! Since I️ was traveling alone I️ would have liked to have known that the property was on the corner of a busy street and the hot tub was essentially in the front yard, I️ felt a little exposed! But other than that everything was great!

The rental was just as pictured. Very clean and accessible to downtown. It was on a busy corner but that is what you get when you want to be downtown. The hot tub was a nice addition for a couples getaway.

This place was great! Very clean and compact, but plenty of space for a weekend trip. The hot tub, though next to the road, is shielded by a row of trees so it still felt pretty private! We had a great time here, would definitely stay again!
