Lovely service and beautiful hotel. My stay was great. The only issue I had was with the valet parking. I got my car the following morning and it was covered in ants. I don’t know if it was parked outside, but a little disappointing. Other than that, I will absolutely stay here again

Great stay all around. Room was clean and spacious and I loved the bath products. The restaurant was phenomenal for dinner. Great location and I was able to check in early (for a charge) which was ideal after traveling all the way from the States across three flights. Great, very lively rooftop bar as well.

What we liked about this hotel is the location, with easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the harbor. What we didn’t like is the room cleaning standard. A dirty carpet under the bed, dusty room, lights are very dim. Also, staff were nice but kind of casual in dealing with customers. On the day of our arrival, we had a water leak under the sink and the room wasn’t cleaned properly. They fixed the leak but didn’t clean the room because house keepers had left after 4pm. On our last day, we requested a wake up call at 5 am, they called us a 6, thankfully we have our alarm set on our phones. I’m not sure we’re staying at this hotel again.

Good location, great style. Room was well equipped and had good views out to the harbour. Unfortunately didn’t receive the vip amenity, but not a major issue. Some staff weren’t great with us having a small child but most were good. Our corner room was dark, with poor and random lighting and it was missing some simple basics, like a rubbish bin, reasonable wardrobe and storage space, a decent electric jug and even just practical tea cups and saucers. This may sound a bit picky but added together, it all made our 6 night hotel stay quite average. Cleanliness was also mediocre in our room with a thick coating of dust across the room surfaces including the tv and mini bar greeting us on our arrival. The room would be ok for a one night stay for one person but we won’t be returning.

Enjoyed the decor and location. Disappointing that we had to ask for our room to be serviced on the first day and returned on the second day after dinner, after being out all day to our room not being serviced again despite having a “make-up our room” sign hanging on our door on both days.

Rim around sink was full of thick mould. Room was next to cleaning cupboard so so much noise from staff opening, closing, getting things out and chatting loudly right in front of our room. Rooms are not very soundproof could hear what person in next room was watching on tv. My fresh towel had thick course black hair stuck in the towel fibres.

We loved its location. It was very walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. The shower was beautiful. The room was a little small for international travelers with a suitcase each but we were able to use some of the space in the bathroom to stack up bags (but it made it difficult to unpack). The staff was friendly and accommodating. My one real complaint is they charged me more than I was supposed to be charged. I was able to show them my Expedia reservation and I did get the price adjusted but it’s something I could have easily missed or lumped in with the incidental hold.

Nice hotel that is clean, safe and accessible. Bed was very comfortable and the best fit for my 6'1 foot hubby. The only thing we didn't like was the room was very dark and our patio was not private. If the next room opened their shades, there would be 0 privacy. Staff was great, friendly and accommodating.

The Hotel chain is generally really good. The room was not sound proof. The roof top bar was two floors above yet we could hear furniture being dragged across the floor all evening until around 2am. We were in room 422 so maybe avoid that side of the building.

Modern and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were a good size and connecting 402/403 corner rooms were good for family with teens. We were able to eat at the QT rooftop bar/lounge with our teens on Sunday evening and it was good. But on weekend evenings this is R18 which would have been disappointing. This property is well located but the day F&B staff are not trained properly, and the menu tries too hard, none of the service items are customer focused just for some look they are trying for( hot coffee in a cup with no handle , toast served on a plate with no space to actually butter it, no consideration for small children like no booster seats, all beverages served in adult glassware. Room was serviced only twice in 5 days not grasp the concept of children napping at noon. And even after a call to ask for service after day 3 at 2.30 nothing.. this after room service put a tray with leaky soup on our bed. They know the soup leaks and these stupid wooden boxes leak ( but no change for the sake of customers after years ) all about the money no actual focus on hospitality or the actual guests. More concern about billing the right room than remembering your coffee order or that you asked for the check…stay if you need a central location but only dine for dinner where the night crew actually have some level of skill.

Stayed here a few nights as the first stop on our honeymoon. Property was clean and modern - rooms were a bit dark but big windows brightened it up. Unfortunately service was not great from the front desk for being an upscale hotel. Upon check in, I requested to redeem expedia VIP perks that were highlighted under the reservation - I was told a bottle of wine would be delivered to the room. It never was and I had to follow up the next day. We were charged for valet parking service at a premium nightly cost to park on the property - otherwise we'd have to find other parking means. We accepted the valet service and fee however, each day we were told they were too busy to get the car so we either wait up to 30 mins or go find it ourselves in the car park. When checking out I asked if there was anything that could be done with the rate being charged as it really was not a valet service and was quite overpriced. I was told I need to pay but they would speak to the manager and someone would email me. It has been 3 weeks and I have still not been contacted.

I mistakenly booked the wrong dates for my stay. I tried to contact the hotel on multiple occasions but they did not reply or answer the phone. When I arrived they told me I had to pay for another night. I had no option on where to stay as we were having a family reunion. I asked them to price match the hotels.com price which they agreed to do and then tried to charge me a higher rate. I then stood at the check in desk and booked a reduced rate online; and had to come back later to complete the check in as they were unable to do this as they had not yet received the booking. Both stays offered a welcome gift - the hotel refused to honour these as their managing company had changed even though this was clearly stated on both my bookings. They have offered me a discount to stay in the future but I would not stay here again. It's very disappointing as I had looked forward to this stay.

The room was beautiful. I loved the bathroom however the lighting was a little rough. But the room is definitely 5 stars. The VIP bottle of wine I was given was not drinkable. It tasted burnt as if it had been left in the sun for hours and made me and my guest sick. The overall service was equivalent to a basic hotel and not what I expected for a hotel of this rating. I didn’t need housekeeping and put out the sign stating such only to have housekeeping try to come in while I was dressing. She said I was listed as checking out. While she was very kind, it took a bit of convincing that I wasn’t checking out yet. Reception: One gentleman was amazing, the rest were subpar or average in service. I waited over 5 minutes at the front desk because all 3 employees were chitchatting with another guest and taking pictures of her dog. When I was helped, the women couldn’t answer my question and I was told to try back in the morning. Overall a beautiful property with few amenities (the rooftop bar and its staff are the saving grace) and just average service.

The stay was good. It’s a great location for exploring the area with ferries out to the Islands and plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Staff were generally helpful however communication prior to stay was non existent! I emailed twice and received no reply. My daughter also emailed twice and received no reply. I tried to phone the hotel on numerous occasions but received no answer. I was concerned about parking but I couldn’t confirm what the parking situation was because nobody would answer my emails/calls. There is valet parking which is expensive but it was a good service and saved any parking issues.

Checking in and checking out was great. The room was splendid. TV system confused this dumb Canuck, but that hardly matters. Shout out to Zoe, who helped us check in our car and really showed what good service looks like. Huzzah!

The hotel is close to the waterfront and is very convenient to walk to the waterfront area without being right in the touristy area where the cruise ships park. For those that are hesitant to walk up or down hill, the property is also on a similar level to the waterfront restaurants and activities. Other activities and local restaurants are an uphill walk. Rooftop bar is great for drinks. Food is ok at best. Staff at the front desk was super pleasant and accommodating. Flights from the US arrive early in the morning and depart late afternoon. Luggage storage and changing facilities are very nice. We had a quiet balcony room. The room was clean with lots of power and usb outlets to use. Bed was comfortable. Loved the water bottle fill station on each floor. Very eco friendly and convenient. Hotel decor was vibrant and well maintained. Didn't get our welcome bottle of wine but would definitely stay here again.

Fab stay with friendly helpful staff and we loved our room. The included breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in a hotel. Everything was well thought out and we loved the moody vibe of the modern decor. The location is the best, lots of choices of food at both the restaurant downstairs and the rooftop bar upstairs. This is our new favourite Auckland city hotel

The bed was great! There are some strange things about the room, like the light switches and the tv, which were both pretty difficult to figure out, also I never got the handheld shower sprayer to work however the restaurant in this place is phenomenal!! All the folks that work there are extremely nice and helpful. One gave us a restaurant recommendation that was the best Indian food we've had in years.

Great property with easy, walkable access to all the main tourist areas. Everything was very clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, and the valet parking service we used was convenient and worked perfectly

Roof top small dishes very good; excellent pizza at lunch but given an expensive bowl of packet Granola at breakfast with about a desert spoon of yoghurt and honey. Can only presume the chef thought I was a horse!

Great stay all around. Room was clean and spacious and I loved the bath products. The restaurant was phenomenal for dinner. Great location and I was able to check in early (for a charge) which was ideal after traveling all the way from the States across three flights. Great, very lively rooftop bar as well.

Overall very happy with the facilities and staff. We had a great stay. The restaurant food and service was excellent. The only thing we disliked was the loud thumping techno music playing in the restaurant during dinner.

They make you pay before you stay (different to other QT hotels). Some basic amenities missing in the room, were brought by reception. My PJs, which I left under my pillow, were literally left in a ball on the bed. Clean room on arrival, but cleaning during the stay left much to be desired. Odd bathroom doors, would not want to be sharing a room with anyone…

Was nice but we couldn’t control the room temp and with no opening windows it was too hot The shower would not keep the same temp would be hot or cold not much in between. Quite pricey for what we got.
