Brandon made my experience above and beyond, I would highly recommend this place. Clean, friendly, fun! The bedding was wonderful, beds comfortable, bathrooms had everything you could need and catered to women. Kitchen was perfect, filtered water. I had zero issues or complaints. Very centrally located. Will be back!

Very secure location code at door exterior and interior very clean organized. Walking distance to trolly grocery store bars restaurant etc. helpful staff comfortable beds and bedding.. a few things noticed in bathroom needs minor repair. Well thought out design would recommend will return.

The place is great, clean, well run and well maintained. The staff were very thorough in helping guests settle in and someone was always available to answers questions or be of assistance. The common areas were comfortable, with the upstairs being the quieter area and downstairs more social. I kept to myself, but enjoyed hearing others connecting socially around the tv, pool table or in kitchen. The kitchen is small, but well organized, with plenty of bins for individual food storage. There is plenty of refrigerator space, a few different options for cooking. I think adding some smaller cooking pots and larger bowls would be helpful. It was excellent to be able cook my own meals and have a relaxed setting to eat. Thanks for creating such an affordable and pleasant home away from home.

Great hostel that offers some privacy as all the beds are separated by the walls and curtains. This is a great idea for people frequently staying in hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities (several hairdryers to accommodate large amount of people needing them at the same time). Great and spacious common areas.

Very classy adult only hostel across the street from so much! Albertsons, CVS, pizza, sushi, a nail salon, a coffee shop. Walking distance to downtown/ train station, the Convention center, the library, the Padres stadium. The place included self locking lockers, two towels, coffee, cold and hot filtered water. It had great community areas for games, eating and conversation. Washer and dryers were located in the building. Overall very friendly respectful safe vibe from the locals and travelers.

With its already high 9.4 rating, I was expecting this place to be nice—but I was actually even more pleasantly surprised. The facilities are very well maintained and spotlessly clean, especially the bathrooms, which were darn near pristine. Big Ups to the staff! They must be working really hard and take pride in their job. The woman who checked me in was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay. The common areas provided plenty of cozy seating to relax in, and the sleeping area itself was spacious and comfortable. According to my smartwatch, I slept very well. Its close proximity to the airport made catching an early flight simple and stress-free. Honestly, I wished I had booked more of my trip here. The only thing worth mentioning is that the hostel is located near a part of town with a noticeable homeless presence. I personally felt safe, but for women traveling alone, I’d suggest arriving during the day just to be extra cautious. Also, while the guests were polite, the social atmosphere wasn’t quite as lively or chatty as I’ve found at other hostels. That said, this hostel truly takes the cake for cleanliness, comfort, and overall aesthetic. I’ll most certainly be returning on my next trip!

Gladly surprised by the quality of the service. Very clean -daily mopping and cleaning of all areas. Staff super friendly. Common areas are usually very quiet and was nice to hang out there. Very close to downtown (5-10 mins cab ride) conveniently close to the airport. Will stay here next time.

Decent place! The sheets and bedding were a bit worn out. Mostly clean although there was a can of something lwft bellow my bed. When i asked the front desk to remove it and clean the area, they did not do it and was kept there which made me uncomfortable. There was a smell of old buildings as soon as you come in. Mostly safe, clean and priced right.

I love love this hostel and its my best so far. But the cleanliness this time was off. Bathroom was dirty and smellwd alot of urine. The entrance to the hostel smelled of urine as well. Otherwise the rooms, beds and sheets are just amazing

I really enjoyed my stay here. The concept with the thick curtains and a real comfortable bed gives a nice feeling of privacy and I slept like a baby. I also appreciate the "get ready" area with blowdryer etc., the pool table and the several spaces to chill or work. I highly recommend this hostel to women because I felt very save even in the eve walking back and I\'ll def come back for another stay!

It's not my usual place to stay. I was just feeling adventurous. What got me interested was the price. The linen smells fresh and does not look overused. What I disliked was the use of curtains instead of real doors. I guess that's how it is designed otherwise the place looks clean

This hotel is Ight but when I was sleeping during the quiet time from 10pm-6am some one was having a little too much fun with their girlfriend clapping their hands or something in the box next to me like I wouldn’t care but literally only had a curtain blocking the noise and now I am traumatized

I can’t say enough good things about this hostel. I stayed for two nites and everything exceeded my expectations. Carlos the person at the front desk was personable friendly helpful and always had a smile. I will definitely return again for a longer stay

The customer service and hospitality here is AMAZING. The location is pretty conveniently located near public transit and it’s surrounded by good food and cafes. Brandon gave me a list of recommendations to do nearby and the hosts were very accommodating when I had to store and take out my luggage during the times I wasn’t checked in. I stayed here for the SD marathon and although it was a bit pricey for me (I booked a double for myself because that was the only thing available), the location is worth it and the shared common areas were never too busy so I always had my space :-)

With its already high 9.4 rating, I was expecting this place to be nice—but I was actually even more pleasantly surprised. The facilities are very well maintained and spotlessly clean, especially the bathrooms, which were darn near pristine. Big Ups to the staff! They must be working really hard and take pride in their job. The woman who checked me in was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay. The common areas provided plenty of cozy seating to relax in, and the sleeping area itself was spacious and comfortable. According to my smartwatch, I slept very well. Its close proximity to the airport made catching an early flight simple and stress-free. Honestly, I wished I had booked more of my trip here. The only thing worth mentioning is that the hostel is located near a part of town with a noticeable homeless presence. I personally felt safe, but for women traveling alone, I’d suggest arriving during the day just to be extra cautious. Really clean modern hostel close to Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego. Check in process was easy and I had everything that I needed. Lockers worked well and the bed was comfortable, bathrooms are clean. There is also a common area downstairs with sofas where you can rest, watch TV or work on laptop.

Check in and check out was very easy. First time trying a hostel since I was only staying less than a day in town. I liked that they had curtains you can close for privacy and rest. People there seemed friendly enough. It was clean and comfortable with large shared spaces. A little bit outside the gaslamp area but was safe. Would try again for short stays.

Clean facilities—particularly the showers and beds! Easy check-in and check-out process. Quiet hours were respected by other occupants. Great price for the central location. Only a 30 min ride from the airport using public transit.

LOVED my stay here. Sorry I had to give 3 stars to the area around the property it is a little bit skid row lite by the Albertsons but if it means a more affordable stay and the property is very secure and guests and staff were respectful.

Very classy adult only hostel across the street from so much! Albertsons, CVS, pizza, sushi, a nail salon, a coffee shop. Walking distance to downtown/ train station, the Convention center, the library, the Padres stadium. The place included self locking lockers, two towels, coffee, cold and hot filtered water. It had great community areas for games, eating and conversation. Washer and dryers were located in the building. Overall very friendly respectful safe vibe from the locals and travelers.

Brandon made my experience above and beyond, I would highly recommend this place. Clean, friendly, fun! The bedding was wonderful, beds comfortable, bathrooms had everything you could need and catered to women. Kitchen was perfect, filtered water. I had zero issues or complaints. This was my first time in a hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms, common areas and bathrooms/showers are kept clean. "Room" is a bed pushed against the wall with about a 24" path way between bed and wall. Curtain for privacy is right at the foot of the bed. There is an Albertson\'s across the street, Grocery Outlet about 3 blocks away and some good restaurants close by like Modbom(used to be Amplified, makes all food from scratch), Beshok, and Carmelita\'s Mexican Kitchen. All were with walking distance(about 1/2 mile or less). Food at these restaurants was great! I stayed for 6 days. Overall the experience was good.

The place is really nice. The pods are surprisingly private, they give you a nice big locker with a lock. It has a kitchen and all the utensils, pots and condiments to let one cook just to further save money. It's clean and the staff is friendly.

The place is great, clean, well run and well maintained. The staff were very thorough in helping guests settle in and someone was always available to answers questions or be of assistance. The common areas were comfortable, with the upstairs being the quieter area and downstairs more social. I kept to myself, but enjoyed hearing others connecting socially around the tv, pool table or in kitchen. The kitchen is small, but well organized, with plenty of bins for individual food storage. There is plenty of refrigerator space, a few different options for cooking. I think adding some smaller cooking pots and larger bowls would be helpful. It was excellent to be able cook my own meals and have a relaxed setting to eat. Thanks for creating such an affordable and pleasant home away from home.

The room was clean and kitchen had everything I needed while staying there. This was my first time staying in a hostel and I don't think I will ever stay in a hotel again. This was so much better. I got so much more space for my money.
