The rooms were perfect for our stay, the breakfast area was clean and abundant, they had a washer and dryer and even had supplies at the front desk, but most of all, the service from the staff was impeccable.

It wasn’t unpleasant experience choosing that hotel. I thought I was getting the best hotel possible but after arriving, the lady told me that pool was out of service because they couldn’t keep it clear it was green and that room was warm the whole time we were there and the toilet then flush well

I would have rated the hotel better but the pool had not been serviced correctly. There was algae everywhere and quite murky so they had to close it. It was not posted on their website that the pool was closed. I would have stayed elsewhere if I’d known.

Almost everything was perfect! Bed was comfy, rooms were clean, breakfast was tasty, location was good, staff was friendly, having games and a pool table in the lobby was great! The only thing wrong was that the pool was GREEN and not suitable for swimming. That was unfortunate as we were there for 3 nights in the heat of July andnot able to take a dip in the pool.

Pool was filthy. I was looking forward to letting the grandson splash around but it had obviously not been cleaned in at least a week if not longer. Everything else was clean and appeared to be well taken care of.

Breakfast was great. Best thing about the hotel. We were disappointed to learn upon check in that the pool was closed. On a 105 degree day, the pool should be available.

Our entire stay was great except the pool was green. As a travel softball family, the kids always want to go back to swim after playing out in the heat all day but they didnt want to get in it because it was so gross looking. However, all the staff was so kind, breakfast was great, rooms were clean, and our kids loved the pool table in the lobby!

The parking lot was packed at night from the bar that’s across from it . We had no where to park we had to drive around for awhile till someone came out of the bar. Very inconvenient. By that time it was almost 1 hour of waiting and it was late! Past midnight. Very unsafe wi th drunk people walking by or coming in to the lobby to use the restroom not cool at all! Friday and Saturday the copes showed up outside in the parking area due to fights that were happening cause of the bar fights . And we all had kids all baseball players . Not safe I felt very stressed and un easy . I wish I knew this and I could have cancelled and gone else where. Also They only had one ice machine for the whole hotel and it was hard to get ice it was always out! Also the elevator took forever to go up and down to stop at every floor was also very upsetting to have to wait for it every time we needed to go up or down. It was a whole baseball team that stayed there and Im sure none of us Will stay here again!

They missed a few spots when cleaning but overall the room was fine. They pump a smell into the lobby. It would be very pleasant if it wasn’t so intense. Maybe dial that back to 5 instead of 500. The features on the TV (calm, etc.) were a nice touch.

Not a very clean room. The soap and body wash tubes are very inconvenient to use and if you lift them- they are extremely dirty. Aside of cleanness issues everything else was pretty much as expected. Beds were very comfortable

The bathroom was not clean hair in the drainages of the sink and shower and also mold,room was super small no like other hilton I was before with a kitchen area, you can literally feel the steps of people walking on the upper floor , also you can hear what people talk on the room next to yours. Breakfast was super good, staff was friendly but I let them know I have a problem with the toilet and they did not do anything about it. No i will not return again.

Our stay was amazing at this hotel! The service was great and the breakfast was hot and fresh. The facility was very clean and smelled clean. I would recommend this place in Midland to stay and would definitely book here again when I visit Midland.

I do not understand why this hotel has such a high rating. It is NOT clean at all! The bathroom was very dirty. Especially the shower, it honestly looks like it wasn’t cleaned after the last guests left. I’m pretty sure one of the bath towels was dirty as it had tan colored stains which looked like makeup to me and that definitely comes out in the wash. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Overall pretty good stay. There are some things that we didnt like. For instance: the room is small for the price, fridge was not plugged in or cold when we arrived. The TV kept cutting in and out so we just gave up on it. The shower door don't seal so the water gets all over the floor and you only get 2 towels so youbare kinda screwed when trying to clean it up. However there were some good things we did like. The bed is very comfortable, the water gets hot and stays hot, and there is shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the room which smell amazing.

Very friendly staff, greeted at check in! Was disappointed only that the pool was not open and the pancake machine was down at breakfast! But other than that, thw room was clean and spacious! However, we did have to move rooms at midnigjt because our AC was not working, we moved to thw room across the hall and got a good nights sleep, in a cooled room, in a comfy bed! We will definitely stay at Tru again!

Also only 2 towels in the room for 4 people staying in a double queen. Ridiculous, not staying here ever again. This property is so over priced for what you get. No closet, no microwave, not a pen nor a pencil paper, no coffee maker, cold bare wood floors, small, no luggage rack. Internet is slow or nonexistent. Hated the room. I have been a flight attendant for 42 years and have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms. This one goes down as one of the worst

I appreciated that the hotel was right by the baseball stadium which is why I chose it. But upon check-in I was surprised at my irrelevance to the host she wouldn’t even look up from her phone to check me in, and the same for the host upon check out. As if I was of no importance to their social media time. The hotel was very clean and free coffee all day is always great. But as I entered room it smelled like someone had just thrown up or used toilet, this happened every time I entered room but thankful that I got use to smell after about 10 seconds. There as a drainage in middle of bathroom that would make gurgling sounds every time some other room flushed the toilet, I was actually kind of shocked by that. The beds were clean but the mattress was grooved out from the many precociously sleeping guest but that is to be expected at many hotels. Last complaint was the “live tv” all the guide were wrong about what was on… I have no idea how that is possible but that was the case. The room had plenty of USB outlets which was awesome. Again the hotel was very nice and clean just the room and hostesses were surprisingly a let down

Check in went well. Room was clean (no lotion in the dispenser). The only issue I had was I had to come to the front desk every time I left my room… key cards did not work and that was an inconvenience I even experienced a rude desk clerk arguing with me instead of trying to assist me. She even threatened to refuse service when she was the one being loud and rude to me simply because I asked why did this keep happening. These visits are getting worse and worse thinking of going elsewhere for my next visit.

We love staying at Tru. This one is located close to the Midland Rockhound Stadium and makes it easy to go to the game without having to worry about traffic. We will be back.

The hotel was super clean and always smelled nice when we walked in. But we stayed on the second floor, right across from the elevator, and it was really annoying hearing banging all day and night every time someone used it. It wasn’t happening constantly, but it definitely stood out. Plus, the pancake machine was still out of order, which was a bummer because I noticed in the reviews that it had been broken for months. We were really hoping it would be fixed by the time we booked our stay, so it kind of put a damper on our experience at Tru by Hilton.

First i have to retun to Lobby 3 times because card can't open room, then on saturday 5/3 Breakfast (which is included) was not availbe, because person in charge didnt show up!!! very disappointed ,
