Renaissance New York Harlem Hotel

The room was perfect and I always love staying at the Renaissance Hotel!!

The staff was very customer friendly. Our room was clean. I just wished the mattress was a little softer. Parking garage was so convenient but should offer other options to make payments.

Wonderful stay here. Rooms were spacious and clean. We had the city view and loved looking out to watch the sunset and sunrise. Having such a lively bar/lounge in the hotel was such a plus as we were there during a bit of a cold and rain front. So not having to leave the hotel was great. Will definitely stay again.

We needed a hotel near Columbia Univ. and were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We had 2 rooms which were very expensive especially since this has a 4 star rating. If we needed to use a microwave it was located on a different floor but at least there was no charge. If we needed a small refrigerator (an additional charge) they also were on a different floor. One room didn't have a closet, only one rod perpendicular to the wall with a few hangers in the bathroom. The concrete looking floor had stains all over and no carpet whatsoever in one room. Just a runner at the foot of the bed in the other. The corners were full of lint and cobwebs behind the curtains on the window sills. The restaurant was very expensive with not a very varied choice on the menu, especially for teens and children. We will never stay there again or recommend it. However, staff was very nice.
